Vacation rentals with a kayak in Oceanside

We had a FANTASTIC stay. This beach home is beautiful and in the most perfect location to be able to relax on the beach, take a walk to local bars/restaurants, or even go for a bike ride along the ocean. The home was clean, quiet and provided a great space as we celebrated my 30th birthday. Instructions for the use and rules of the home were clear and simple to understand. Would absolutely love to stay again!

This is our second year staying at this property and we are already talking about a 2026 reservation. Love, love, love this house! It has a fabulous kitchen, relaxing and comfortable living spaces and very nice bedrooms. The outdoor space is breathtaking and has a private beach area with outdoor firepit. We enjoyed snacks and drinks on the outdoor patio as well. We can't wait to return to this wonderful beach getaway.

Beautiful house in a wonderful neighborhood. The house was clean with great amenities and super comfortable beds. The backyard is amazing, and it’s clear that the host really pays attention to details.

This is a great location in Carlsbad, directly across from the beach and just a few blocks from the Carlsbad Village. The unit is recently renovated and is spotless. Wyatt is a great host who is very helpful and responds extremely quickly. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Carlsbad, this is it!

Stay here if you are visiting SD! The house is comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! Wendy/co-host was super responsive, when we had any questions. You are in a quiet neighborhood, so it was easy to just fall asleep. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb in San Diego! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. One of the best parts was the location—just a short walk to a fantastic local brewery and some of the most delicious Mexican food I’ve ever had. The host was super responsive and provided great recommendations. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful peaceful location with a great Mexican restaurant right around the corner! The outdoor spaces are especially nice and we really loved that it was pet friendly. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was our second visit and we will certainly look to book their place again in the future.

It was wonderful staying at Cheryl’s cottage! The location is great! The beach is a block away, places to eat a few feet away and at the same time once you’re in the cottage you feel you’re in a zen place to just relax. Would definitely rebook!

We absolutely loved our stay. The onsite amenities were so amazing. We biked everywhere. We even fit in a surfing lesson. At PB surf shop down the boardwalk at Pacific Beach. The fireplace was great because it was a little chilly at night. We even watched the DVD Zorro for family movie night while eating pizza from a pizza place just around the corner. The next night we biked to play volleyball on the bayside after a trip to the San Diego Zoo and got take out from Craft after roller coaster rides at Belmont Park. We highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back here.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.
