House vacation rentals in Malakoff

The property was awesome for my family. It is spacious and the layout of the house, kitchen, pool, yard, fence, game room is perfect, hardly any through vehicle traffic. Everyone felt comfortable and safe. The host was outstanding very helpful in retrieving forgotten items 😅.

Accommodations were as expected. It was a beautiful house, and very comfortable. There were two downfalls, the outdoor TV was broken which the owner told us about the day before we left, luckily we were able to bring one from home so we could watch our Dallas Stars on the deck. The owners have a replacement on order. The second, the pool had algae on the stairs and side walls and there was a small football in the drain. In their defense, there has been a lot of rain in the area lately, but the pool maintenance man had been by on Wednesday. The owners were able to drop off a suction scrubber which we did not mind using. The owners were very responsive and very friendly. They accommodated an early check-in and late check-out. Overall, it was a great experience and I wouldn't mind visiting again.

Tom was very quick to respond to any questions that I had. He gave me all the information for check-in ahead of time and was even kind enough to let us check-in a little early! We loved staying here and had a great time. If you end up booking this place I highly suggest you use the chair under the tree! We also had a great time taking the Kayaks out on the lake.

Great vacation! The pool is much larger than appears in the photos - our family of 4 enjoyed it very much several times. Right on the lake with lots to do - canoes provided. We had a lovely time and will definitely remember this location for future Gun Barrel City vacations. Highly recommended.

Blair and Andrew were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home! They were quick to respond to anything questions we had. Beautiful house inside and out! Everything was super clean, spacious and all the amenities you could think of...just bring your clothes! The pool, hot tub, and lake view was the center piece of our family reunion hang-out spot. Every bedroom had a fully stocked bathroom which was convenient for the guy/gals rooms, and the ice makers with the huge kitchen that opened into the living room made it perfect for cooking and entertaining for everyone! We had our 18 month old granddaughter with us, and the house came with everything we needed. Plenty of parking since we came from many different states. I would highly recommend this house for large families or groups. We will definitely come back! Thank you for having us!

This home felt like a relaxing resort! The property was gorgeous and it was the perfect set up for larger groups. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the property and conversing in the living space. All the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels to go around. We would definitely stay here again!

Great host. Very responsive. Great place. Kitchen was full of utensils, like pots and pans. Nice location. Easy access to the highway.

Prime location and the house is very thoughtfully arranged by Shin. The lake as easily accessible and fun to swim in. Kayaks were fun to use. Netted Patio was relaxing to sit during evening and night hours without mosquitoes or bugs. Would surely visit back.

Wonderful home right on the lake! My family and kids really loved it! Mark was a great host. Super accommodating, very good communication and a very thoughtful home with great details. My kids and adults loved the swings!

From start to finish, I have to say the the stay at this place is absolutely perfect. Angela is the best host ever and seemed to help us every day from restaurants to getting our equipment and vehicles fixed to anything we had a question about.. she was right there.… The home itself is beautiful, the yard is well kept, the place is overflowing with amenities, very good fishing, fire pit and swing by the water, brand new bbq and much more… I will always use Reliant from now on when we are working in the area…. Good job.. Y’all are 110%

This is our 5th time staying here and it is always wonderful. We has such a great girls weekend cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the patio. Even though this time we watched more TV because it rained the whole weekend. It was still relaxing. Looked forward to next year. Thank you Joel.

This house completely exceeded our expectations! There were so many activities and amenities that the group of teenagers I brought were easily entertained all weekend, even when the weather wasn’t cooperating. There is also enough space that everyone could spread out, and the layout is great. It’s in a super convenient location, so it was no problem to run to the store or go see a movie on a whim. The house was stocked with anything you could need. The area is quiet & peaceful with super nice neighbors. My kids are already asking me when we can go back!

We are repeat visitors! The home is comfortable, clean, and offers ample space for our family. It’s perfect for us as we have family in the neighborhood and love to stay here for holidays or gatherings. There is a pretty back deck view, and the home has everything we need! We appreciate Veronica’s friendly and quick communication!

Angela's home was perfect for our family gathering over Easter weekend. There was room for everyone. Very relaxing and peaceful stay.

We had the best Mother’s Day weekend. The house is beautiful. It’s spacious and TONS of things to do. I was so impressed with all the games both indoor and outdoor they offered and the bin of water guns bubbles and chalk for the kids. You cannot get bored in this home. It’s the perfect home for a family get away. We will be back!

The home was new and fresh on a street with similar homes. Across the street was a lovely little lake and green space. We were in town for a festival and the PolkaRun and access to everything in the town was so easy from this location, it was easy to run home and change or rest. The back yard was green and had a great fence for our Doggo. I would definitely stay in this home again!

Solid place to stay on a canal which opens up onto the nearby lake. The house was well kept and well decorated.

This place was great! Right on the water - it was so beautiful and relaxing!! The host was very accommodating! I would stay here again!

The owners were so nice to work with and communicated very well. The house was more than advertised as the kitchen was very well stocked. The lake access was just what we needed via the dock and ability to use the boat lift for our boat. The deck over the boat lift provided a great view. The house was very clean. The bedrooms were bigger than we expected. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. We had a great time and hope to come back for another visit.

This was the perfect place for our large family! With two teenagers, fur babies, and my mom with us, the two separate houses made for the perfect stay. Aubrey was EXTREMELY helpful and if anything came up, she was responsive and handled everything quickly. This was an extremely stressful transition for our family but this air b&b made for the most peaceful stay while we combatted the stresses of moving across the country. Neighbors (though few and far between) are super kind and give that “welcome to the area” vibe! This is an old historical home that has cozy comfort needed for the escape we all want! Huge thanks to Aubrey for being so responsive and flexible! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Me and my family came out here for a last-minute getaway and Susan and Mark were very nice and helped us check in very smooth. On our second day, Mark stopped by and took us around and showed us some cool spots. Also recommended tiki hut! The food was amazing! We also rented a boat and mark and Susan were able to get us a discount because of the Airbnb. The house itself was very clean and nice. The view from the house to the lake was beautiful! And we loved how the gate was blocked the yard and the water for our kiddos safety! Thank you mark and Susan for making our stay wonderful!
