Holly Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins, Holly and Dogwood, are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.-

A privet cozy, little cabin on our farm.

This little cabin is surprisingly roomy inside and has a kitchenette equipped with dishes, a toaster oven, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. There is a comfy, XL twin bed with/ clean, sheets & blankets. There is a shower, toiletries & large towels. A perfect spot to stay when visiting the Cedar Creek, Canton & Athens areas & are looking for a quiet place to lay your head. No wifi but we do have local channels on TV. In addition, clean, fresh well water from the tap!

Bobcat Hills Guesthouse

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. This cozy barndominium is nestled against the woods at the back of a large rural property. Enjoy watching horses and cattle graze in the adjoining pastures while drinking coffee on the front porch.
