Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Lyndon B. Johnson

The lake house was wonderful for my wife, son and I. We swam, fished and enjoyed the starlit dock. David was very helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be back soon!

Chris and Debbie were very helpful and friendly. The house is very comfortable. We enjoyed the lake views and cooking on the griddle! We all had a great time there, we will rent it again. Thank you!

Great home with a wonderful backyard. Nice touches throihout the home make it feel cozy. Inks Lake, Longhorn Cavern, Canyon of the Eagles, Vanishing River Cruise all within reach. The Lazy Heron coffeehouse was a favorite and HEB is really close. It's a great location to enjoy the home itself or as a launchpad for the surrounding areas.

Wish we could've stayed longer! The area is located in the middle of so many things that would be great to do wine tasting, whiskey places, restaurants, bars, attractions. If you do your research before arriving you'll have a list of things to do. Nonetheless, if evem if you don't, and you decide to stay at the house its feels secluded enough and spacious enough that that youre not crammed. The kitchen has so many cooking utensils and pots/pans that it felt like a home away from home. The grill was such a plus and with a full propane tank! Lastly, the dock offered so much space that if needed you could dip and sunbathe all you want. I will be back!

Immaculate home! Everything was clean, tidy and orderly - easy to enjoy, and easy to clean away when checking out. It truly felt like our own home whilst there. Michael was the perfect host too, responsive when needed, but respected our privacy to enjoy the home. We’ll be back!

Our stay at Shelley's place was lovely! The house is so spacious, was sparkling clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and amazing views. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect to relax and have a good night's sleep. When I first saw the listing, I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the sofa bed in bedroom 4 would be. It turned out that I picked this room for me and my husband: it's spacious, has its own bathroom and the bed is VERY comfy, in addition to the best views! The other bedrooms were also great, cozy and with perfect levels privacy. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Communication with Shelley was excellent, she is a fantastic host!

We had a great time at this lake house! We had the whole family (4 adults and 3 small children). The accommodations were great. The kids were able to swim from the dock and we were able to park our tritoon without any issues. We took full advantage of the grill, hot tub, and sauna. We highly recommend if you are looking for a lake getaway.

Great space with a great location!

We’re a family with two young kids and had such a great time here! The condo itself was a great set up- the closet was big enough to fit a pack and play in case anyone is like me and is always trying to see how to make a sleeping arrangement work on vacation! The beautiful little beach, two pools, and playground are a huge added bonus. Apartment was well equipped and clean. We definitely hope to come back!

Condo was beautiful and right on the water. Plenty of space and easy access to the boat docks once you launch. Lake LBJ is awesome! The condo is walking distance to the marina and restaurant and morning walks around The Cape and HSB resort were amazing. Meredith was so friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful family vacation and would book again!

Perfect spot for the golf tournament my son was in. Enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room to relax each evening. We’ll definitely be back!

Julie allowed us to check-in early after not being able to get into a different Airbnb due to difficulties with their door code. She was very responsive to messages. She helped save our vacation!

Great place to rent. Spacious, kitchen was well stocked. Ashley is very helpful and responsive. There is a great little beach area right down the street and the water was perfect for swimming. We enjoyed watching all the deer that came to visit the property and a great place for bird watching! I would definitely rent this place again.

We stayed for a fishing tournament and there was ample space for our 2 families. It was awesome having the screened in porch, and we loved sitting on the dock watching the boys fish. We didn’t cook while we were there, but the kitchen had everything if we had chosen to. We will definitely stay again if we have another tournament at Lake LBJ!!

Cozy place, ideal for a near but not in Austin getaway with friends. Very clean. New fluffy towels. Peaceful surroundings, however we were there midweek and never saw any neighbors so that may be why. Loved it was pet friendly for our pup. The one bedroom has a door that goes to the fenced in back yard which was super convenient. And the back porch was perfect for morning coffee or just to unwind in the evenings.

My husband and I stayed here with our 1 year old son and had a fantastic time. Nancy had absolutely everything we needed with a little one. The pack n play, mattress for the pack n play, the high chair, children’s plates and utensils, and the toys and books were extremely helpful. They had plenty of life jackets, beach towels and floaties that we really didn’t need to bring much with us. We will definitely be back!

John's unit, located within Barton Creek Lakeside, is just great. Well furnished with everything one might need and actually is even more lovely than the pictures present. Very comfortable in all ways. We rented both sides to this duplex for a family gathering and it could not have worked out more perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Really nice.

Quiet, private location. Love that we could take our dogs. Loved: spacious living areas, screened porch & deck (although we used it less than expected due to weather), bluebonnets. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked. Bring bottled water. Loved seeing & feeding the deer every night & morning. We brought extra deer corn. Took our Roku for the TVs. We expected to have access to the washer/dryer which is in the listing. Wasn’t a deal killer, but we didn’t bring as many clothes because of that and weather got chilly. We knew the river might be low, but would have good to know in advance just how low it was as well as the difficulty getting down to the river. We had to cut our own path through the weeds. It’s a bit of a challenging hike. We were able to catch several large fish from the shore (bass & catfish). Can see lots of stars & sunsets. Overall, a very homey & comfortable place to stay.

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.

What a great little house for me, my husband, and our dog to get away from the big city for a few days. It had everything we needed and plenty of space to lounge and play. The views from the back yard were amazing, and having access to the river for swimming was so fun. We also loved how the house was isolated and quiet, but super convenient to drive to Inks Lake for the day, or Burnet for meals and groceries. Would definitely recommend this house to families with kids and dogs looking for a little out-of-the-city adventure.
