Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lago Vista

Thank you for being such a great host! I'm picky about where I stay, and your home checked all the boxes. I loved how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were, how detailed your instructions are, the towel warmers, all THE PLANTS 🥰, the coffee and tea fixings, the candles/ oils/ scents, all the tvs, the Nintendo game, the guest book, the deck, the layered decor, access to W/D, the books, great wifi, the deer everywhere, etc. Your place was the perfect retreat we desperately needed. It's obvious you put a lot of effort and care into your property. Very well done! We'll definitely be back!

Our family of 10 enjoyed this Lake House home. It is perfect for families. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a nice separation of bedrooms on the upper level for the adults allowing our teenage kids to have the lower level bedrooms, but there were also bedrooms laid out to accommodate parents and children of younger ages on the lower level. We especially enjoyed the game room with table tennis, foosball and darts. The home has a flat, grassy back yard and we were easily able to set up a volleyball net and play soccer. The friendly deer emerged in the evenings and mornings and were a delight. The owner, Matt, was a very responsive host and answered our questions promptly. We were prepared for lower lake levels given the drought at Lake Travis, so note that the hike down to the water and the dock is steep and rocky given the current conditions.

My friends and I had a great time staying here! We enjoyed the unique room setups and the glass walls were an amazing feature.

Rachel was a wonderful host, who communicated throughout our stay. She was immediately responsive when a summer storm knocked out the wi-fi and sent over a technician. Rachel had a lot of family amenities for little kids, including toys, a little ‘seat’ for the bathroom, and a pack and play. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and cooking at the house, watching sunsets over the lake. The deer were great for the kids to watch, and we even caught a few fish!

Beautiful stay, spacious cozy house, private piece of land with trees and grass. Everything was super clean and pretty. Hot tub! Fun lights. No stress checking-in or checking-out. Clear instructions. Details about things to do and places to see. Beer treats (though we didn't drink). It means a lot when the host is responsive, kind, attentive and has a good sense of humor. It was very special to re-unite from cold winter states in a quiet cozy place with dear people of mine. It was my second stay, and I would consider staying there again for another reunion, maybe next year. Totally recommend.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views then look no further. Has a great balcony that oversees the valley and positioned well enough to where you will have shade and enjoy the view as you’re having breakfast or eating dinner. The place was very clean and only 20 minutes to the nearest HEB. Gas grill for bbq or a full set kitchen. We enjoyed every moment and did not want to leave. Definitely would love to come back when the moon is not out to see all of the stars.

As ALWAYS, Adena & Mitch were amazing. This was our 3rd time here and it never disappoints. We had some incredible and very theatrical lightening going on a few nights. Then that just cooled the temps down and it was so pleasant. We left once to get marshmellows for the firepit. But other than that, never left -- and mostly the porch. It's hard to imagine a place and time, in our current days of always online, to just sit for hours and hours on end, talking to your partner, laughing at stupid stuff, admiring the nature and wildlife around you with not a care in the world - the way a relaxing vacation should be. Huckleberry is a nice addition. Our other friend was missed.. Thanks again, Adena, for an amazing stay.

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

We had an amazing time staying at Kanieshiear’s place in the casita! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. The casita was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything my husband and I needed to feel comfortable. Kanieshiear was super helpful, sharing great local tips, and both she and her husband were quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks to the peaceful surroundings, we enjoyed restful nights of sleep! The other guests and locals we met were very friendly, and we had a blast during Karaoke Night at the restaurant downstairs. One of the best moments was waking up to the stunning view of Lake Travis from our balcony. We can't wait to return and make this our favorite spot for a relaxing getaway!

Great location for a base in Austin out of the core downtown area - perfect for our long weekend. Big grocery store and everything you need within a few minutes walk, and if you don't have a car (like us) everything is pretty quick in an Uber - downtown in less than 15 mins. Listing is as described and has everything you need for a short stay. Friendly cat also visits and sits outside!

Jeff and Katie's place was wonderful. It was fully stocked with extra linens and towels. The kitchen had many basic items such as oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, sweetener, etc. It was conveniently located to downtown Buda ~ only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the wedding venue where we were attending a wedding. Jeff was quick to respond when we had a question about his favorite place to eat. My only regret was that we didn't have more time to spend. I would definitely come back!

Marissa was a fantastic host! The apartment was well stocked with the basics and even a few thoughtful touches. It is on the 3rd floor so be aware of the climb, especially if visiting while it’s hot outside. The pool and workout room were a nice perk. There is a very slight scent of old cigarette smoke that is in all apartment complexes if you’ve ever lived in one. These are just the most not-picky things as the stay was great and we’d absolutely stay again. Very accessible and pro tip: exit through the back gate to use the stop light rather than trying to cross the speeding traffic outside the main gate.

Upscale camping— a great experience. 2nd year in a row staying at Hardly Dunn- we stayed in the caboose last time and the hideout this time. Our fav things about the hideout: THE PORCH, so serene! Cute upstairs bunk with a twin bed. Grass so lush you can walk around barefoot, kind and gracious hosts, the privacy, the wildlife! If you’re an adventurer traveling w a dog this is definitely your spot.

Me and my new fiancé absolutely loved this place from the minute we got there we felt like we were home and didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be staying here again. It has made for a lasting memory that we will cherish.

Vesper Lodge is a lovely home! The decor of the home and styling of the bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen are on point. I appreciate attention to details which result in at home comfort like hand soap, room spray, diffuser, sound machines, fans, copious amount of kitchen tools, and a plethora of blankets. We are looking forward to visiting sometime during the winter so we can better enjoy the fire pit, back patio, and the fireplace. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely space with us!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

Great place to wind down and relax with the family. Plus, it’s close to Hwy 71 so you are not that far from things to do. The host was very helpful and responsive when we needed hep with the tv (the fault was totally on us!). Would absolutely recommend.
