Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

This is my new home away from home when I visit Austin, a true gem with an amazing host. The house is beautiful and very comfortable with plenty of bedrooms for all. The two living areas make it great for everyone to spread out and the well equipped kitchen is a delight to use. The house is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees and garden. The location is perfect and close to many restaurants, coffee shops, stores and everything else you could need. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable with bike and walking paths and lots of trees. The house was very clean and had all the essentials from shampoo etc to snacks and excellent coffee. The host was incredibly flexible and communicative and made our stay one of our best AirBnB experiences ever. He even helped us with a family medical issue and was very kind during the entire time. I really can’t say enough good things about this wonderful host and property. I will definitely be back!

The place is great for a large group - tons of sleeping arrangement, open common spaces and a lovely backyard (with hot tub!). Everything was very clean and George was very responsive to any questions we had. Even allowed us to store our luggage in the garage/game room after check out. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

Ashlee was a wonderful host that was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean and cozy and was perfect for our getaway. It was easy to access, but felt private at the same time. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the deer and birds and we also enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Would highly recommend!

Different unit but we’ve stayed at the property another time and love the location. Easy walk to downtown, Landa Park and we joined the gym Das Rec for a month, great value. Fun to watch the activity on the Comal and the golf course from your balcony. The unit itself has comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, patio had lounge chairs and a dining set, all just as shown in the listing. Saundra was great throughout the process. We would definitely stay again.

loved our stay beautiful home and wonderful backyard with a fabulous pool and hot tub. we had an issue with the pool light and they immediately helped us find an alternative and tried to fix the light. Loved this bnb would definitely return when we are back in austin!

Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

We had an amazing time staying at Katy's place! We are local to Austin and had an extended stay here while our house was being renovated. Katy was so responsive and friendly, making us feel right at home. I have lived in Austin for 15+ years and this location truly cannot be beat! The neighborhood is beautiful and seemingly everything fun to do in Austin is within walking distance: Lady Bird Lake/downtown, South Congress, South Lamar, etc. The house is charming and just as described. We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the evenings and the fenced in front yard for our dog. Bonus points for being visited by a white peacock in the front yard!

This is a gem if you're a small family with a toddler. The location is amazing, it's close to so much, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our son loved all the toys available, and it was great not having to pack a stroller, toddler kitchenware, or tub toys. The place itself boasts great natural light and an open layout, extending from the dining room through the kitchen and into the living room. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. Even though it’s so close to the center, it’s also a short drive to the airport, given its location in East Austin. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time. The location was perfect with a great yard for our dogs. The country atmosphere is just what we were looking for! The house is very comfortable with plenty of room. The bedrooms are a little small. But this is an older home so not surprising. We really loved having a large dining table and china cabinet for Thanksgiving Day. Felt very homey 💕

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Mary Ann was the absolute sweetest host! We want to adopt her!! She made sure we had the most unforgettable experience. Even had our favorite beer waiting for us when we arrived! The location was the absolute best with easy in and out of the river right at our steps. Tons of trees and shade! Shes very knowledgeable about the area! She even took us up the river and dropped us off! We have decided we will be making this place our yearly vacation destination!! You will not be disappointed if you book this place!!

This place is fabulous if you would like a get away retreat. We spent loads of time on the deck, enjoying the trees. This is the most well stocked Airbnb we've ever stayed in. We absolutely recommend it. The location was absolutely beautiful and driving to grab dinner was no problem at all. it's a quick drive to either Terry Black's (the beef ribs are out of this world good) or Green Mesquite. if you're looking for a place that is right in the heart of downtown, this is not it. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, you couldn't do much better. 👍

Great space! Plenty of room for a large group. All bedrooms are upstairs. Living room, dining room, pool table room and kitchen are downstairs. We had a great time here. Kerri was an excellent and accommodating host. We will be back!

We had a great stay! Place was as described, very unique layout that maximizes the space to host large groups. Fully stocked kitchen, an issue I've had with AirBnb's before, was able to make a couple full meals for our group because we had all necessary equipment. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This house was amazing for a girls weekend getaway. It looks just as pictured with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. You could not have any better views of the lake area than from the many deck areas. The pool and hot tub were both clean and crystal clear. Any questions were answered within minutes, great communication. Hope to visit this home again soon.

This is the absolute best sanctuary/vacation home to stay in. The best scenery, close to wildlife (had a deer let me pet it), the coolest little family vibe, and just all around amazing. I will choose this place every single time I come and visit Dripping Springs.

super nice host! we spent time at the house over memorial weekend and was a group of 10 of us big house had plenty of room for everybody and plenty of towels for the pool pool was super big they even had a grill out there we had an amazing time at this house I'll definitely would love to book again and I suggest you as well for every penny thank you to The Host

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

Michael is indeed a super host. Communication was always clear and consistent. He responded very quick to my texts, questions and gave very good recommendations of things to do or places to go in the area. House is beautiful and Michael is doing a great job updating the decor. Views are amazing and the pool was clean a a very good size, we were a family of grown ups and we had a blast playing Marco Polo. What it stand up to me were the beddings, sheets and comforter covers were so smooth, clean and felt wonderful, definitely that was a plus to get a restful night sleep after a day full of activities. We stayed 3 nights and it felt very short. Two deers came for a visit to the area where the pit is located, it was a joyful sight. Thank you Michael for accommodating so well our needs.
