It was a beautiful cabin decorated for Christmas. We stay the week of Christmas 2024 and their was 12 of us, 6 kids and 6 adults. The cabin worked wonderful for us. It was large enough with the upstairs and the basement that each of my family had their own space to relax. The fireplace worked wonderfully, the kids and grandkids enjoyed s'mores over the fire. It was a true pleasure to relax and enjoy family. The weather was also excellent, we could stay out on the back deck and enjoy the views of all the mountains.

Accurate photographs of the room and surroundings. Perfect directions to find the location. I just wish there was an extra blanket. I have no other complaints about this listing and I would stay again.

Rhonda’s place is a definitely a hidden gem! My accommodations had fallen through and Rhonda was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. My dog and I felt right at home. The area is really beautiful and the location could not have been more secluded. As far as “primitive cabins” go, this setup is the best value you’re going to come across. Also make sure to pet their friendly office bear!

We all liked the rustic cabin. It was very quaint, comfortable and a great location. The porches are so nice and relaxing. Enjoyed the place with our family very much. Great memories and exercise made on our NC Mountain trips always!.

My friends and I loved this place. Especially the location. It wasn’t on a busy road but we were in the middle of everything! Highly recommend!

Relaxing weekend by the creek

Cozy, clean, and the hot tub was amazing! Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Five stars!

We stayed here during a hike of the Appalachian trail and we're able to get some much-needed rest. It's a small town that shuts down early so the smart TVs and internet were also great to have.

Very nice cabin at a great location. Just a few minutes drive from the center of Pigeon Forge. Cabin was very well supplied which meet all our needs. Snowed all night and we were still able to get back to main roads with no issues. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this wonderful retreat at Highlands! We were 5 gals new to the area and the hosts were amazing from start to finish; earlier than expected check-in, gorgeous surroundings on a lake with views and lush greenery all around! The cabin was clean and spacious, wonderfully large kitchen and extra towels. We couldn't have asked for anything more in our stay! We highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day soon!! Don't miss out on this great opportunity to see the Highlands, but especially stay at this wonderful cabin on a beautiful lake!

Uncle Tom's Cabin is private and feels secluded, almost like it's own little world. My partner and I enjoyed the ambience of the electric fire logs without needing the heat. The hot tub on the private porch has all the heat you need. The beds were nice with plenty of pillows to find that just right place to lay your head. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

The cabin has a cozy feeling and is located nice and secluded at the end of a neighborhood, with plenty of privacy. Due to the weather we did not get to enjoy the outside but the bonfire looks like a great place to sit outside with family or friends. When booking, we didn’t realize the upstairs bedroom does not have a door, although this did not bother us because it was just my wife and I. We would go definitely come back here. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Gina is an amazing A+++ host. The cabin is located in a beautiful area with lots of attractions all around. A perfect escape into beautiful scenery. The cabin itself is just perfect! Clean and beautiful architecture-felt very welcoming from the beginning. Lots of space to prepare food, spend a good time with friends and family both inside and outside in the fresh air. The campfire space is perfect as well. Communication with Gina was great and she suggested many places and attractions to visit in the area. Thank you and def recommend!

We have stayed here a few times over the years and always enjoy the serenity of being in a remote location in the mountains. Always a great experience to stay here.

The cabin was very nice, meticulously clean and had all the comforts of home. The listing said there was coffee maker (there was) but there was also a keurig. The roads in sky harbor are curvy and narrow, but we had previously stayed in the area and were familiar with the neighborhood. Our GPS provided navigation without any difficulty in finding the exact location! Although the listing states it sleeps 4, I would not recommend for 4 adults. It’s absolutely PERFECT for 2!! One of the greatest things about Sky Harbor is the location!! It’s right between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, making it easy to explore both areas!! Megan could not have been more accommodating, responsive and courteous. I would HIGHLY recommend her as a host!! We love the Smokies and would definitely suggest Megan’s place as the perfect getaway for anyone!!

Couples getaway, is just what this place is. very private with little extra amenities with out the extra cost. Very clean and comfortable.

Humminbird Haven was so peaceful and quiet. It felt very private. It's adorable and homey on the inside. Having the hot tub just outside the bedroom doors is very convenient. I recommend Michelle, and I will be back again.

Excellent get away cabin in the beautiful NC mountains. Fun drive through the Dragon, and went on an impromtu white water rafting trip, along with a few good hikes to some beautiful waterfalls. The cabin was just as advertised, cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. The hot tub was clean and inviting. Beth provided excellent detailed instructions on how to get there and local recommendations, but both Waze and Google Maps took us right to the location (preloaded). The final leg of the gravel driveway was a slight challenge, but with a running start we made it up without any issues in our front wheel drive SUV. Have your maps preloaded before you go, because there is no cell connection for a significant portion of the drive through the mountains, especially if you come in on 129. Overall a great trip and well worth it. We even felt and survived the TN Earthquake of May 10th, 2025!

Great location. Easy access. Private but near all the fun things to do! This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. Abel and his brother were very responsive and made our stay seamless.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The location was perfect—only about 17 minutes from the strip, with a stunning and peaceful drive to and from. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised (if not better!), with amazing views and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious at the same time. The hosts were phenomenal—super responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. Highly recommend

Overall the home was exactly as pictured. Nice location. Nice hot tub. Back porches were nice to relax on. The cleaning crew didn’t do a great job but it wasn’t bad enough I needed to contact the owner. For those looking for bed info… we took twin blow up mattress for kids as they typically hate sofa beds so I don’t know about the sofa bed. The main bed was not the worst I’ve had but it is dated and not very soft. Water pressure was good. No weird smells. Very pretty cabin overall. Not very good cell service( I think that was mentioned) we didn’t mind this but others may. Never heard anything from next door so they were quiet or it’s well insulated 🤷🏻‍♀️ overall wouldn’t mind staying here again other than I would like a softer bed. Host communication was very good.
