This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. The apartment is furnished with a new comfortable king size memory foam bed, a powerfull system of Daikin Emura Air Conditioning, 40'' tv led, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and parquet oak flooring. NON RESIDENT AND TOURIST CAR ACCESS Non-authorized cars are prohibited from driving within the ZTL at the following times: Monday to Friday, from 07:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays from 07:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. PRIVATE GARAGES (€20/25/30 per day, depending on the car size) give you the possibility to enter and park your car there for (1€) per access. From Via dei Conti it is very easy to walk to any of the city's major attractions such as the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio. But also Fortezza and other destinations are easy to reach, even with bags. Fast trains are a 5-minute walk from the apartment. Many guests find it amazing to have a day trip to Rome, Venice or Milan from this location. Taxi service and buses / trams are also available just around the corner
