Apartment with terrace with spectacular sea views
This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. Our stay in Conca dei Marini was absolutely perfect! We're happy that we chose this charming town over some of the other towns on the Amalfi coast, because it offered the most perfect retreat after visiting some of those busier locations! The tranquility was exactly what we needed, and the stunning panoramic views from this airbnbs terrace were truly unforgettable. We enjoyed spending each evening there with a glass of wine-thank you for the delicious red wine, Raffaele!! :) Raffaele and Angela are truly exceptional hosts. Raffaele checked on us daily to ensure we were comfortable. His thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, dine, and explore definitely helped. We particularly enjoyed his suggestion of the restaurant Le Bonta del Capo and loved the Santa Rosa bar. If you're pondering on whether to stay at this Airbnb, stop hesitating and book now. You won’t be disappointed — this place truly exceeded our expectations!

In Villam temporary house
Amazing stay, Adriana was amazing, her goal was to make guests comfortable, with all the knowledge needed, small or large advice given. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, always happy to help to make your holiday and experience in Pompei out if this world. Neighbourhood was friendly, and quiet. Lovely to come back to, rest by the pool after a long day walking. Well recommended air bnb.

Rome Getaway: Romantic 2 Bed Home In Castle Walls
The apartment is a real jewel, well appointed, beautifully designed and impeccably restored. San Gregorio too is such an astonishing venue. So authentic, so atmospheric and so well located for exploring the rest of Lazio. As if that was not sufficient, Leah is a model host by any standard. Attentive, communicative and unfailingly helpful. The San Gregorio experience is highly and unconditionally recommended !

The MOONLIT & SUNNY COTTAGE near Florence
We really enjoyed our stay at Alessandro’s place 🇮🇹✨ The house was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed 🏡 The area was peaceful, yet well located to explore the region 🚗 Alessandro was responsive, thoughtful and easy to communicate with 🙌🏼 BEST AIRBNB 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GIÒ - The lakefront penthouse
Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

Poggio dell'orso.Traditional Casale. Amazing views
We felt comfortable from the first moment. Beautiful terrace, very, very nice pool, good facilities, everything you need. We plan to come back.

Casa al Gianni - Capanna
Christina’s farm stay was wonderful. It comes set up as a full apartment space complete with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and giving a tour around the grounds and the apartment. I would suggest arriving at a good time so you can have the tour. The grounds were very nice. I would like to point things out for your consideration before you book. The airbnb is secluded and a little far from towns. The drive was pretty though and there weren’t many cars on the road. I would also like to recommend that after a busy morning, once you check into the Airbnb, you should just relax and explore the grounds. The country side is so beautiful and it’s worth it to take the time to relax and immerse yourself into it. If you don’t like bugs this might not be the option for you. There were plenty of bugs in our Airbnb but once again, you’re on a farm! I’m not a fan of bugs but I found myself appreciating nature and the bugs with my stay.

The Compass Rose
Carolina's place was everything I thought it would be and more. She was a wonderful host who left us wine and fresh vegetables and lemons. She was very helpful in getting us started with the public transport. Praiano was a very good place to get away from the chaos and crowds of Positano and Amalfi. The views were un paralleled and the house was very spotless and well cared for

Tenuta Chiudendone in Tuscany
My family and I had a lovely time with you - thanks very much for having us. Beautiful house in very picturesque surroundings. Francesco and Isabella were very welcoming hosts and we felt quickly at home. The pool and food experience were real highlights, as were the pets 🐶 🐈⬛ 🐈 Would definitely recommend! xxx

Casa Misia amazing view on Positano and Capri.
Anna was the true definition of a 5 star host. I’ve stayed in several Airbnb’s over the years and don’t think I’ve come across anyone as well structured as her. She walked us through everything from the get go and helped us book excursions and transportation with zero hassle. The property was stunning and in an excellent location. Already missing the incredible balcony views. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Apartment in Florence, Italy
Very cozy and safe home. We took the tram from the airport and Eugenia gave us directions on the easiest way to get to the apartment from the recommended stop. She explained and show how the multiple doors locks to the apartment and made sure we were able to open everything. She also provided a book with instructions on how to use the washer and food recommendations in the area. The bus stop is really close (5 min walk) and the train station is also a 15 minute walk away. At night it was pretty quiet and the bed was really comfy.

Casa Manina sul Ponte - your private Canal View
This apartment is pure magic. From the moment we walked in, we were swept away by the stunning view of the canal right outside the windows- it felt like a painting come to life. The space perfectly blends old-world Venetian charm with modern art and thoughtful comforts. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the delicious Nespresso that started our mornings to the wonderfully comfortable beds and cool AC that gave us a welcome break from the humidity. What truly sets this stay apart, though, is the exceptional service provided by Ilaria. In over a decade of using Airbnb, I’ve never experienced such warm, professional, and attentive hosting. Her local recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond by arranging private water taxis to and from the train station—an absolute game-changer, especially with young kids in tow. We will absolutely be back and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in Venice. Highly, highly recommend.

Chianti Villa in Tuscany near Siena & Arezzo
We had the most incredible stay at Chianti Collina. The villa is stunning - comfortable, beautifully decorated, and filled with amazing artwork. The grounds are breathtaking, with flowers, trees, sweeping views, and a perfect pool. The location made it easy to explore nearby towns, yet felt peaceful and private. Our host Gio was exceptional - thoughtful, communicative, and truly felt like family by the end of our stay. He went above and beyond to make our daughter’s engagement unforgettable, creating a magical setting in his vineyard and even preparing our favorite meal of the trip - topping it off with his famous tiramisu! Chianti Collina is a dream getaway and an ideal spot for a vacation, engagement, or vow renewal. We can’t recommend it enough!

Colosseo Terrace 180°
We loved our stay in Marco’s place , beautiful view from the apartment & he was a wonderful host to us . He alerted us that the pope would be around and we got to see him . Beautiful apartment and very clean , had everything we needed , grocery store within walking and close to shops and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer .

lake cottage by the sea
Super relaxing weekend in this experience. Cleanliness, comfort, and relaxation for those who want to break away from the usual routine. Antonio is always available for any info, I'd go back.

Suite in Castle of Valle
We come from Hong Kong, and a building like this is not often seen there. We are very happy to have had the chance to stay at the house. Some of the details in the house really impressed us, especially the antique furniture! Pietro is a great host—very friendly and responsive. I had some pleasant conversations with him. Thanks again!

Suite House 4 terrace with canal view in Venice
The best view out the windows, made the stay worth it! Easy to get to off the taxi boat. Quiet area for sleeping but still close to everything.

"Red Rose" apartment with view of Siena.
Very perfect experience, the decoration in the room can feel the host's care. Each room has its own private garden, where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset views from the homestay.Excellent location, close to Siena, convenient to go to Pienza, highly recommended!

↟A Secluded Shelter in the Italian Alps↟
Absolute gem of an Airbnb hosted by a lovely family, 100% recommendable!

"The heart of the Borgo"
Nice place right in the old town

Belfortilandia, the small rustic villa
We loved our stay so much! Beautiful house and surroundings :) Borgo Val Di Taro is also a cute village to visit for ice cream, food and a good playground for our small kids! Thanks a lot for everything! We wish to come back in the future!

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views
Beautiful house, interesting and well selected decor and a stunning panorama.

Pra di Brëc "Nonni Pierino&Ermelinda" Vacation home
We liked the accommodation we stayed in right away on the AirBeB site. Faithful to the description. Renovated with taste and refined details ad hoc. The view from the floor-to-ceiling window is priceless. The bed, located in the loft, may not be suitable for all heights (I would specify this in the description). But it was the excuse to sleep alone, leaving the sofa bed to my partner. 😉 I recommend it to everyone.

ViviMare – Villa by the sea
We were sad to leave Antonella's home. It is in a beautiful location right by the sea. Antonella was a wonderful and always available host. Trapani, Erice and San Vito Lo Capo are all a 30 min car journey away. The Villa is a perfect location as a base to explore the western side of Sicily or you can just relax, enjoy the villa and the gentle sound of the waves and practice on the piano :) Thankyou Antonella.
Your guide to Italy
All About Italy
Italy is a country known for gastronomic delights, awe-inspiring art and cultural attractions, sweeping coastlines, historic architecture, esteemed fashion houses, and fantastical countryside. If immersing yourself in Italian city life is on your list, make sure you take in the big four metropolises of Rome, Venice, Milan, and Florence. These cities, respectively, contain the ancient Colosseum amphitheatre and the iconic churches and cathedrals of St. Mark’s Basilica, the Duomo di Milano, and the Duomo Santa Maria Del Fiore.
You could also explore the heralded wine country in Italy and seek out mouthwatering local fare in smaller cities like Bologna, the region of Tuscany, and fishing towns like Genoa. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Amalfi Coast and Italian Riviera, with their magical Mediterranean coastlines, and the Alps, with world-class skiing and the famous Lake Como, are almost too beautiful to be believed.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Italy
Northern Italy experiences four seasons and winter can be very cold, but much of southern Italy maintains a relatively temperate climate all year influenced by the Mediterranean. Spring and fall are popular times to visit because the weather is still pleasant and the number of visitors has thinned out.
Bear in mind that summer is the high season for traveling in Italy, especially along the Italian Riviera. Going in a shoulder season, or any time during the long Christmas holiday that begins on December 8 (Immaculate Conception) and ends on January 6 (Epiphany), could be your best bet, when crowds and apartment rentals in Italy are more manageable for the budget-conscious.
Top things to do in Italy
Florence
Immerse yourself in the art-rich Renaissance history in Florence. You’ll have the chance to visit many of the world’s greatest structures, including the UNESCO World Heritage listed 15th-century cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo; stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, the medieval bridge over the Arno River; and take in the museums and art galleries in the Palazzo Pitti on the south side of the Arno.
Boat into the Blue Grotto
On the coast of the jet-setting summer resort island of Capri in southern Italy is a hidden sea cave known as the Blue Grotto, or Grotta Azzurra. It’s a natural cavern where the Mediterranean waters shimmer in the sunlight, illuminating the interior and turning the water a translucent shade of indigo. There are many boats available for hire at the Marina Grande, so lay back and enjoy as your guide rows you into the depths of this ethereal cavern.
Puglia
In Italy’s Puglia region, you'll find trulli, historic cone-shaped limestone dwellings, some of which date back to the mid-14th century, dotted around the valleys. These UNESCO-protected little homes look like something out of a fantasy novel; in Italy, these houses are for rent and are among the most unique architectural structures in the country.
