Seafront Santa Margherita di Pula, Chia Sardinia
I loved my stay! The view is to die for and Andrea is an exceptional host. The apartment is located in a woodsy village that overlooks the sea. The large living room window was one of my favorite things and the proximity to the beach was the other. The apartment is basic but had everything I needed. There were beach chairs and an umbrella available for my use also. As a solo female traveler I always felt completely safe. The other people in the village were very welcoming and I never had parking issues. I highly recommended this accommodation.

Experience rustic off-grid life in the wilderness
amazing place with some amazing hosts.... beautiful nature and some nice hikes right from the house. make sure to go eat at Il Sassone. thank you again for sharing your place.

Belfiore Apartment with parking
Lorenzo was very helpful and the place was much more roomy and open than I expected. It was a 15 minute walk from the train station and the edge of the main historic section of Florence.

The white house
Beautiful and completely new appartment - amazingly clean, well maintained and in a very nice location. The appartment had everything and felt very cosy. The hosts were very kind and friendly. The town is adorable and has a very good pizzeria!

Riviera Apartment
Fabulous apartment. Very clean with comfortable bed, hot water, plenty of towels, all kitchen facilities needed for basic meals. The apartment is on the second floor which makes it feel very safe, and there is a small lift. It is a great location, easy to walk to the old town with all the squares, shops and restaurants you could need. We got a taxi from Padova station for 10 euros but Elena gave very helpful information on how to get a bus or tram. Ideal place to stay for a long weekend to explore Padova and take a train straight to Venice if you wanted to. Elena is an extremely helpful host. Very proactive with her messages and quick to reply to any questions i had. Thoroughly recommend.

La Quercia ~ rustic nature retreat & endless views
This place cannot be fully described in words. It's is much more beautiful than the pictures. It is so very relaxing and I have never felt so in sync with nature. I and my husband felt we needed more days to stay and would love to come back. Andrea and Chandra have really build something amazing here. Sebastian and all who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. We took the pottery lesson with Chandra which was really great. She is an amazing teacher. The food made by Andrea was very very tasty. Overall, we had fantastic time at Il Baciarino and it was the perfect way to end our vacation feeling very calm and relaxed. I would recommend everyone to experience this wonderful place!

Shakespeare Suite – ancient city
Perfect spot close to everything we needed and wanted! Thank you!

Artists Haven
Mariangela is a fantastic lady! We felt completely at home and were well taken care of. A flawless stay with all amenities available. Nothing to say. And you can also sit in the shade under the canopy or lie on a sunbed in the sun. Plus, it's really quiet and peaceful here, and you don't find that just anywhere anymore. A tip from us: you can admire beautiful cliffs and take a nice walk in the Cavagrande del Cassabile nature reserve. It really is a paradise!

Small Courtyard
Giulia was easy to work with. Her apartment is quiet and peaceful. It is centrally located to make day trips. The area and town was easy to walk. Thank you. Renae

Taormina Family Apartment ,with free parking
Mary was a very good host, because of unfamiliarity with Taormina's transport network, endless one-way streets and forks, lost its way in the city and drove around Taormina to find the right road.Mary also continued to help during the period, allowing her to wait for us longer, thank you so much. The residence is within walking distance of various points of interest and is very easy.

Apartment a short walk from the station!
Perfect as always. Also for the key exchange since I arrived early but I didn't have to wait for the time I had scheduled. Clean, peaceful, welcoming apartment. Of course, I'll see you on the next trip.

Wide and Clean Family apartment
Our stay was wonderful! It is very evident that the host takes much pride in providing hospitality. The place was sparkling clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with all sorts of baked goods , coffee machine and even some fresh perishable goods in the fridge. Plenty of condiments. The beds were very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the shower pressure and water temperature. The place is about 20 mins away from como lake/attractions and we felt it was perfect. You can enjoy but then come back to a more quiet relaxing neighborhood. There are also grocery stores close by. You can’t go wrong with this place. A+ amazing! Also spacious garage parking.

The House on the Lake
Area is breathtaking. Unfortunate we were staying just for one night. So cute and peaceful little village, amazing nature and lake, friendly owners and cozy Italian apartment.

VIA ROMA 4 HOME - your home just 50mt from Duomo
Perfect location, clean apartment. Would recommend

New Loggia Apartment
A wonderful apartment in a great location. Good communication and a taxi driver was booked for us from and to the airport, which really helped. Loved everything about the place and the host Rosella was very helpful. Thank you. If there is one thing that let it down slightly is the noise level on the street, which can’t be helped - just a tad noisy late at night (road noise/bars). Just a mention in case young families go. Still, a beautiful comfortable place to stay and would definitely return :-)

L'Aranceto b&b
Chiara and her husband are extremely kind and made me feel right at home. They went out of their way to welcome me and I had a very lovely stay here. A good place to see true Italian life outside of the big cities. Highly recommend

Villa Leomaris apt S Relax&Beach - Torre dell'Orso
We were charmed by this little corner of heaven. Comfortable bed, immaculate space, functional for cooking and perfect for relaxing outdoors. We enjoyed the availability of bikes since the village is close by. Andrea gave us great suggestions for restaurants.

White Jasmine House
There is a lot to write about, the house is beautiful and peaceful from the great photos. There's so much to write about for Maria, but the most important is an overly helpful and thoughtful person. She answered any questions we had right away and guided us. She was supportive of everything, like our friend. Thank you so much for the suggestions and hosting of her and her husband. 🥰

Villino Camparbino lake view
Vilma's cottage is small but well designed in detail, the location is unique, we immediately felt at home. The view is exceptional, the view of Lake Orta is unique; it is an ideal location for those who want to relax and spend time relaxing in nature. The equipment is excellent, there is everything you need. We'll be back soon! Highly recommended!

"Casa Margot": apartment in the historic center
very nice service, perfect value for money, a prime and relaxing location for visiting the surrounding area.

COMO 54b - COMO LAKE VIEW - 100 sqm.
Fantastic place to stay in Como. The apartment has the most stunning views- even better than the photos! Morning coffee on the balcony was sublime. The apartment is very well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. Great location that is within easy walking distance of the lake and the central part of town. Edo and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts! The boat trip with Edo was the highlight of our time in Como. Thank you for everything!

Minori Costa D'Amalfi
Maurizio is a very kind host, he made a point of welcoming us and getting to know us. The place is great, very well located, it has a beautiful view from the balcony and Minori is very practical for going to the other cities of the Amalfi Coast.

Apartment Parma Fiere
Niceapartment, cozy and for me the location was really great both for the fair (5 mins) and the center (max 10 mins). Communication with Giusy very direct and immediate. Recommended.

Cozy Apartament in San Leone
The welcome from Mili and her husband was excellent and friendly, after a few minutes it was as if we had known each other forever. The apartment is very comfortable, well-furnished, and with a good supply of kitchen and other equipment, with also a large outdoor space that I took full advantage of. Private parking just a few steps from the house. Definitely better than I expected.
Your guide to Italy
All About Italy
Italy is a country known for gastronomic delights, awe-inspiring art and cultural attractions, sweeping coastlines, historic architecture, esteemed fashion houses, and fantastical countryside. If immersing yourself in Italian city life is on your list, make sure you take in the big four metropolises of Rome, Venice, Milan, and Florence. These cities, respectively, contain the ancient Colosseum amphitheatre and the iconic churches and cathedrals of St. Mark’s Basilica, the Duomo di Milano, and the Duomo Santa Maria Del Fiore.
You could also explore the heralded wine country in Italy and seek out mouthwatering local fare in smaller cities like Bologna, the region of Tuscany, and fishing towns like Genoa. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Amalfi Coast and Italian Riviera, with their magical Mediterranean coastlines, and the Alps, with world-class skiing and the famous Lake Como, are almost too beautiful to be believed.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Italy
Northern Italy experiences four seasons and winter can be very cold, but much of southern Italy maintains a relatively temperate climate all year influenced by the Mediterranean. Spring and fall are popular times to visit because the weather is still pleasant and the number of visitors has thinned out.
Bear in mind that summer is the high season for traveling in Italy, especially along the Italian Riviera. Going in a shoulder season, or any time during the long Christmas holiday that begins on December 8 (Immaculate Conception) and ends on January 6 (Epiphany), could be your best bet, when crowds and apartment rentals in Italy are more manageable for the budget-conscious.
Top things to do in Italy
Florence
Immerse yourself in the art-rich Renaissance history in Florence. You’ll have the chance to visit many of the world’s greatest structures, including the UNESCO World Heritage listed 15th-century cathedral in the Piazza del Duomo; stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, the medieval bridge over the Arno River; and take in the museums and art galleries in the Palazzo Pitti on the south side of the Arno.
Boat into the Blue Grotto
On the coast of the jet-setting summer resort island of Capri in southern Italy is a hidden sea cave known as the Blue Grotto, or Grotta Azzurra. It’s a natural cavern where the Mediterranean waters shimmer in the sunlight, illuminating the interior and turning the water a translucent shade of indigo. There are many boats available for hire at the Marina Grande, so lay back and enjoy as your guide rows you into the depths of this ethereal cavern.
Puglia
In Italy’s Puglia region, you'll find trulli, historic cone-shaped limestone dwellings, some of which date back to the mid-14th century, dotted around the valleys. These UNESCO-protected little homes look like something out of a fantasy novel; in Italy, these houses are for rent and are among the most unique architectural structures in the country.
