The firepit is a family favorite spot for making s'mores. We provide propane BBQ plus smoke house smoker, yard games, & plenty of board games.

The bunkhouse is a private guest suite...separate from house, with it's own shady deck, lake view, and lots of private beach. It is a NON-SMOKING property. This means no smoking anywhere-not even the beach. Pets are allowed ( dogs) if meet guidelines listed in "other details". ( I also have a guestroom in the house that is listed on Airbnb that sleeps 2 ) I will consider allowing 1 perhaps 2 dogs, MAKE SURE you read additional info in "Other Details" below..

Welcome to our family’s Lake Buchanan waterfront cottage in a small, safe and secluded neighborhood at the end of the road. If you’re looking for quietness, serenity and relaxation, this is the place. 1.5 hour drive from central Austin. Walk right into the water from the back yard - bring your kayaks! Sit on the porch and watch the wildlife - bring your camera. Neighborhood is great for walking or cycling. Since 1972, family memories have been made here.

The Llano River is about 500 yards from the property and the Colorado River less than 10 minutes away. Lake LBJ, Lake Buchanan and several other lakes are 10-20 minutes away. Less than 10 minutes from a major grocery store (HEB), 8 restaurants, several drive-in stores, and three Dollar Stores. Wal-Mart is an easy 15 minute drive to beautiful Marble Falls TX. There is swimming, fishing, hiking, wildlife and the beautiful outdoors of the Texas Hill Country.

This 3-bed, 3-bath, 2,600 square feet home fits 11 and is the perfect place for friends, family, and pets to come together and create some unforgettable memories. Note lake water levels vary, but we prepare for this by having awesome beach activities. Our pet fee is $35 per pet. All use of amenities are at your own risk.
