Chalet vacation rentals in Blue Ridge Mountains

This is my family's third time staying at the Cuckoo Chalet. We really enjoy the location and the amenities -- It has everything we need for a long weekend away from home.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. The view of the mountains off the rear deck are priceless and the hot tub turned those cool days into a warm relaxing day. Would recommend everyone to stay at the freckled fawn for their getaway to the area.

Location!! Near all local attractions but extremely private. Beautiful views. Loved waking up to beautiful sunrises from the comfort of bed, and amazing stars at night from the hot tub on the back deck. This house delivers a great experience. Would absolutely stay again

We had a nice time Mountain Laurel Chalet, the is exactly as described and pictures. It worked great for our family with easy access to Helen and surrounding hiking. Stephen was responsive to the couple of things we needed help with. He also had lots of information available for things to do in the surrounding area.

This place was AWESOME! Perfect location for wanting to spend your time on the slopes! Super cozy, very spacious, looks exactly like the pictures. The living area is a great hangout spot and the fireplaces kept us nice and warm during this windy winter stay.

my family and I enjoyed this Airbnb. this was my first experience with booking Airbnb and Steve is amazing! we will be back for future trips. the house is incredible, considering it's in the mountains lots of places around us did not have parking, but there is a long driveway where you can maneuver comfortably. incredibly thankful we found Steve and his beautiful home!

My friends and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Runaway Chalet. The driveway was a little tricky due to recent snowfall, but April suggested an alternative approach to enter driveway. We plan to return next year!

Amazing place very close to Blue Ridge Parkway. Great view of Grandfather’s Mountain peaks. On the hills. Otter trail with a beautiful Otter waterfalls is just 2 miles from the house.

Tom’s place is an excellent option for large groups or families. Located right along the French Broad River overlooking the northern extent of the Biltmore Estate, this place offers good views, very comfortable accommodations, and plenty to do both within the AirBnb and nearby. We were just a short distance from all Asheville has to offer, making getting to and from a breeze, even with a group of 10. If you’re looking for a sizable location for a weekend away, check out Tom’s place.

We had an amazing time I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more , it as just the size we needed to house our son’s wedding party (5 groomsmen plus my family,it was nice having everyone together it was a wonderful stay

We were a combined bunch of 8 adults and a 3 yr old. We had an incredible time, despite having a week of mostly rainy weather. There is plenty to do in the house and it is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances and utensils. The house is kid-friendly and has all you need to entertain the kids and accommodate toddlers. The location is quiet and secluded, but close enough to a variety of attractions to keep you busy in good weather. We had a precious time and were sad to leave. Jenny was very communicative and responsive. She provided us with all the details we needed to enjoy the stay.

Kathryn’s place was AMAZING! We came here for a bachelorette celebration and it was such a nice, peaceful getaway! All the beds were comfortable and had plenty of space to decorate how we wanted for the bach trip! We couldn’t be more pleased with the place!

Our stay at this Airbnb was incredible!!! The rooms and living spaces were comfortable and clean, and there was a ton of provided items such as towels for the hot tubs, blankets, games, and tons of kitchenware. The host was very responsive to questions and proactively provided information for check-in and check-out! The location was quiet and beautiful, and was the perfect cabin get away for our big group. Would definitely love to come back!

We loved staying at this cabin! Super chill spot—quiet, cozy, and we saw a bunch of wildlife right on the property, which was awesome. Cleanliness was not 100% though. Really close to Gatlinburg too, so it was easy to pop into town but still felt like a nice escape. Would totally stay here again!

Amanda was extremely attentive and had very fast response times. She would kindly answer any questions or concerns very promptly and was super happy to help. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The place was really great for a large family or group because every room has a bathroom as well (so it felt like a lot of space where nobody was needing to wait for a restroom) the hot tub was nice and privately tucked away from the main road. The kitchen is well equipped and it was really nice to rest on the balcony Our favorite part about this place this was the spectacular view it never got old . Amanda was really a super host (Only side tip is to ignore Google maps when it tells you to take the steeper driveway (was so steep) and continue straight along the road as Amanda instructed to the house when you turn in (if you book this will make more sense))

We wish we could’ve stayed longer! We were in town for my son’s graduation. We didn’t want to be downtown in the middle of the chaos. After seeing the pictures and how peaceful it looked we snagged it up. The surroundings are incredible, it was so peaceful, it was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed it. We will definitely come back for a long weekend. Thank you Linda for everything.

This was a great place to stay near Clemson. It was clean, had beautiful lake views, and was very peaceful.

Chalet was as described. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Very clean and well equipped. Just wish there was water in the lake! Next time.

The house was beautiful! We enjoyed sitting outside on screened back porch overlooking the little pigeon river. I hated to leave the house to go anywhere. We enjoyed getting to watch the wildlife. Since we were there for the F100 Nationals truck show with our classic truck, we were thankful for the covered parking area! The only problem with the house is that it isn’t large enough to accommodate our whole family the next time we bring them! I definitely want to stay in this house if we have just our friends again!

We absolutely loved this place as a get away for a couples’ weekend so much so that we are planning to return with our children this summer. It’s very homey and has everything you need to disconnect from things and relax. We can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing four night stay in this beautiful home. Host, Jamie thought of everything a visitor might need while there. The inside is clean, spacious and very comfortable for us and our dogs. Outside is quiet and secluded, yet near Hillsborough and Durham shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the large deck by the fireplace, reading, bird watching and just relaxing. Jamie was very responsive, even sharing where I could purchase the the great blanket she had available for the pups. Highly recommend.

Anne & Fabian’s place was probably the most well stocked home we’ve ever stayed in. The peace and quiet while sitting outside on the decks was just what want when visiting a cabin in the mountains. Anne & Fabian themselves were very friendly and responsive during our stay and the time leading up to it!
