Tiny house vacation rentals in Ventura County

My family and I stayed at Mona's cabin for Memorial Day weekend. We had such a relaxing weekend, the weather was perfect, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You have nature right outside the door, literally steps from the house, there is a small creek, which you can hear from the deck, and there are a few nice hikes. My kids' (6 and 3) favorite activity was fishing at Fern's Lake (a 5-minute walk from the cabin). We enjoyed the amazing DVD collection; it was my kids' first time seeing a DVD, and they loved watching movies at night after a long day of outdoor fun! The club pool was open, which was nice, and we recommend checking the game room at the club. For food, we mostly brought food from home, but would recommend Hungry Al's and the Bakery. Overall, PMC was an unexpectedly fun and relaxing experience. It has a lot to offer for families with small kids. And Mona was the best host. 100% recommend and would come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay, the cabin was spotless, beautiful, and very comfortable. We found everything we needed. The location and views are gorgeous, we loved the deck overlooking the mountains. Would definitely come back!

Suzy’s place was as advertised! Her private studio was serene and the views were lovely. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again and stay here. We particularly loved listening to all the birds sing their songs and the private patio. Suzy was communicative, helpful and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Make sure to stop by godmothers while in Summerland!

We had a great stay at the Caravan and the team was super responsive! Really cool setup, caravans were very nice and well kept, and the communal bigger bathrooms and showers were nice as well. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

We had the best time at this adorable Tiny House! Nestled in an avocado farm, you’re in the middle of nature and wake up to birds singing and can enjoy a magical golden light end of day. Everything is perfectly throughout in the house and you don’t feel it being tiny as everything opens on a large and beautiful terrasse. Gary’s been a wonderful host, very helpful, proactive and kind.

My wife and I had a wonderful, restful and restorative two and a half days at Asher's cozy little cabin in Pine Mountain Club. It's part of a quiet, friendly community in beautiful natural surroundings. We would definitely return and recommend it to our family and friends. Asher was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

What a great little space. It was easy to find, instructions were very specific and Meredith/David were prompt with any questions we had. They even left us a fresh avocado and orange, delicious! The small yet charming patio area was the perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. Hope to return in the future.

amazing spot! carol, doc, and the super hounds were such gracious hosts, and it was amazing to spend some time relaxing outside of the city. the tiny home is very close to a river/swimming hole, which makes for a great morning walk. the super hounds were especially awesome, and all of them greeted us upon entry. they are such gentle, protective animals; and they made sure to secure the perimeter of the property every time we stepped outside. the home is surprisingly accommodating, with an amply equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. the TV setup was cleverly designed as well, so that it could be viewed comfortably from the living room or the bedroom. carol and doc made great use of the space, and it never felt cramped. overall, our stay was absolutely lovely, and I couldn't recommend this spot more.

We stayed at Parinaz’s place between March 27 and March 31 and we will be back again in May to stay here again. When you come from New York to California and not know the area you want to be sure number one you’re staying in a safe location, and for sure the house is in a very safe nice neighborhood. The place is exactly as explained as listed. I would definitely recommend staying here again to anyone who’s looking to come out to the west Coast. There is every kind of nice restaurant fast food, and anything else you could want in a very short drive from this home.

We LOVED having our Thanksgiving weekend at The Shoals Corner! The unit is charming, very comfortable, with a pull-out couch/bed conversion in the living room that gives a great view of the ocean (and sunsets!). From there, we could see a pod of dolphins feeding for quite a while one morning! We brought a crockpot and fixings from home, and made our turkey breast in the cozy kitchen for our holiday meal. The kitchen is really well stocked for up to four people. There's lots to do in central Ventura, so we worked out at a gym a couple of times, shopped for food and beverage extras next door to the gym, and drove around to look at neighborhoods. We also played miniature golf another day and thought about going to a movie...but the beach vibe, fresh air, and sunshine were so satisfying that we avoided indoor activities. We're already talking about going back next year. THANK YOU, MARY, for your hospitality and the opportunity for us to have a wonderful vacation!!

What a beautiful place to stay! Being away from the city was such a great experience. First time in a while I was able to star gaze in the night. The hospitality was also great, making it feel like home! I will definitely return for another getaway! I highly recommend this place!

Staying at Joy’s mountain cabin was truly magical. From the moment I arrived, I was speechless, the house is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by nature and filled with an indescribable peace. Joy was incredibly flexible with both check-in and check-out times, which made everything even more special. Even though I stayed for a short time , it felt like days !!!! that’s how relaxing and healing the experience was. Every detail in the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully designed. The silence, the energy of the place, the connection with nature… it was exactly what I needed in that moment. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Joy, for creating such a soulful space.

The castle was so cool! We checked in kinda late the first night so it was absolutely stunning to wake up and see the view of the valley. Felt like we were in a dream.

Thank you very much for accommodating us for our last minute booking. We wish we had booked a week in advance, so we could have taken advantage of the canning classes the property has offers ! The property is a hidden gem in fillmore. The farm was super cozy and easy to find. We enjoyed the patio very much with their small fire pit and cuddly cats. A definite highlight is waking up to miss congeniality aka "Tibs" the farm dog , picking our own eggs for breakfast in the morning and eating fresh fruit straight from the trees. We enjoyed meeting the friendly animals such as their pig and goats and feeding them avocados! The turkey was our comedic relief this weekend as he regulated the property . We definitely recommend buying their jellys and sorbet from the guest house !

Such a wonderful relaxing stay! Amazing views of the beautiful mountains and a very peaceful surrounding. I had a blast!

My wife and I spend 2 nights in A-Frame celebrating my birthday and had a wonderful time! Our dogs loved it as well. The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We cooked food, watched movies, listened to music, played Scrabble, and walked our dogs around the neighborhood. Felt so cozy the entire stay. We especially liked the nostalgia with all the VHS tapes. We put on an old movie every night as we drifted off to sleep. We got out to have my birthday dinner at The Perch and HIGHLY recommend. It has the feeling of a neighborhood dive bar with fantastic views of the mountains, but with elevated (no pun intended) food and cocktails. Seriously delicious food. I'd love to try the whole menu! We can't wait to go back when it's snowing to try their clam chowder, which many people recommended to us. A great trip! We were looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation and that's exactly what we found.
