House vacation rentals in Upstate South Carolina

This was our fifth year staying at Elevacres. We have so enjoyed each visit. Kevin was, again, a great host. Thank you for everything. We will miss your home as our AVL rental, but can’t argue with you wanting that daily view back. Cheers!

Our mission team was in the area working with Hammer and Heart. We stayed at this house based on location, number it could sleep and the neighborhood. Checkin was extremely easy, house was easy to find. While there, the A/C broke. Nothing that anyone could foresee. Amanda was responsive by immediately hopping into action by sending fans to try to cool the house until the HVAC person could get there to fix. Amanda stayed on top of the problem until she knew the A/C was fixed. Thanks for the hospitality of sharing your house so we could help people in the area.

This stay showed us why we always prefer when the rental is owned by a person and not a big company, Trace was super responsive and easy to work with our entire stay. Location was fantastic and it was super easy to get to all the things in ashville we wanted to while still being in a home that was quiet and relaxing.

We enjoyed this home. It was comfortable, roomy, and suited our needs perfectly. It looked like the pictures. Renee was a great host with checking in on us and making sure everything was good. We would definitely consider staying again!

We rented this house for the week of Christmas. It was the perfect space for us to spend time together. The view of the lake was great! The house was as described and met all of our needs from the bedding and towels to the kitchen cooking accessories. Would love to rent this in the summer to enjoy more of the outdoor space.

Our family loved Patrick & Jordan’s place! The amenities were enjoyable, the porch was peaceful and the beds were so comfortable!! The home was spacious. You can tell that they have put a lot of time and energy into restoring and decorating the home. As hosts, I cannot say enough kind things about Patrick and Jordan. They were gracious and responsive. Thank you for hospitality and we hope to return! Town was a close walk. There is a cute park with playground nearby that my kids enjoyed, as well. Be sure to check out the Monroe Pizzeria (delivers too)!

Brandon is a fantastic host and the house was a great size for our family gathering. Loved the grills for cooking, and while our weather was great, it was really nice have the pool. We’ll stay here again. Thanks so much!

Great stay with extended family, beautiful views from the deck and front porch with lots of activity choices in the home for family time at the property. The bathroom set up downstairs means the 5th bedroom must walk through another bedroom to get to the bath however the floor plan is clearly described in the listing and this was not a surprise. The bedrooms with multiple beds are great sizes and worked well for our large family. Gina was a great host and provided detailed information without being asked. We didn’t need anything during our stay but given the communication we received I do not believe there would have been any issues or problems getting assistance if it would have been needed. There is garage access which was unique as a lot of properties do not provide this and helpful for unloading the car in the rain and the kids loved the ping pong table out there.

Haywood House was great! We loved the location and enjoyed walking to the local restaurants. It was an ideal spot for the week and everything about the house was convenient and easy, including the check out with minimal requirements! We hope to come back!

Such a great place to stay with kids, even has a small play structure in the private yard! Close to downtown Asheville and convenient to get everywhere!

I want to say that the host is a grade A person and lovely host. the place was perfect im kind of mad that it was booked out and I couldn't stay longer !!!

This is probably my favorite air bnb I’ve stayed at. The home was so clean and beautiful, very comfortable place to be. I love that it feels lived in. The hot tub was amazing, the manual says it’s from 2017 but it looks brand new. The area the hot tub is in is private can’t see the neighbors, the tv next to it is a plus. There’s plenty of space to sit in the living room and the bedrooms are across the house from each other each with private bathroom attached. The hosts are very nice and super chill, they made check-in and out easy. All your normal and basic rules for an air bnb but the hosts made everything feel very relaxed and chill. You do not have to walk on egg shells. The owners have dogs, but you’d never know or be able to tell, they keep it very clean no smell or hair. Overall great place wish I could live here every weekend!

Great place to stay! Beautiful view across the street. Had everything we needed with coffee and stores 5 mins down the road!

The dock was 100% awesome! Even though the weather wasn’t great, we were still able to enjoy our time on the dock on the lake. The house was as described, and had all the things we needed for the weekend.

We came up for a weekend trip for my dad’s birthday. There were 3 generations. We all had a great time. Such a great location minutes away from Biltmore and dining. My one and only complaint is that there are no curtains in the bedrooms and it was really bright for sleeping. But other than that, it was perfect! Very clean and had lots of amenities. We would stay here again!

We had a great relaxing time at Greta's place. The place was roomy and had everything we needed. It was private and and surrounded by only the sound of nature up a beautiful mountain. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the campfire and sitting on the roomy outside deck under the dancing trees in the cool breeze. Greta was helpful and responsive. This was our second stay here and it was just as lovely as the first! The hosts are wonderfully accommodating and responsive, the beds are comfortable, and we had a lot of fun with the pool table and games in the house. It is close to town but feels so cozy and tucked away in the forest, with such magical bird songs day and night! We look forward to coming back again.

Very relaxing, peaceful and clean. Kitchen is fully stocked. Fishing dock was a plus for relaxing and enjoying nature. Just adults on this trip but can see our grands loving this spacious area. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely spacious home with everything you could possibly need. It is nestled in the woods and is quiet and peaceful. We had room for our family to spread out with lots of space to relax. We would love to come again!

So happy that we found this lovely tiny home so close to downtown Asheville! Alice was very responsive and flexible with our check-in time as we got delayed. The home was clean and cozy, and even had extra bathroom items in case we forgot anything. Overall would highly recommend the stay and hope to find myself back in Asheville!

Space was absolutely beautiful! Loved the beautiful, peaceful surroundings and how cute/clean it was. There was even an axe-throwing board for fun! Master bedroom had a beautiful bathroom with a shower and tub, and the room had a great closet. Even had access to a spacious 2-car garage! Wonderful, responsive host who was extremely flexible. Will love to stay here again when we visit family!
