Vacation rentals in Upstate South Carolina

Thank you for hosting us! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Mill Springs. The home is super cozy and very family friendly. We traveled with my parents, brothers & our two kids and felt very safe and secure in the gated community. There were a few downsides such as the hot tub. With it being inflatable, it made it not useable due to the cold weather. It was not able to keep a warm water temperature & looked like it hasn’t been cleaned properly. Outdoor particles and hair from previous stays surfaced. Just something to look into. Overall, it was clean in the bathrooms, kitchen & bedrooms until you got to the windows, massive piles of dust under the bed & window s’ils. Unfortunately one of our guests had to leave the cabin early due to sinus flare ups with all the dust and possible mold from what looked like water marks on the walls. We would definitely stay here again if a few upgrades could be made. The host was very quick to respond & helpful with answering questions we had.

Driving up the road to the place was a little different especially at night. But we did get used to it. The nest was beautifully appointed with great decorations that made you feel like you were in a cabin. The place was outstanding, one of the better hosts that I’ve ever had interaction with. A few things that I would add to the property but all in all everything that you really need. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty as I was trying to do some work. Great location in Maggie Valley so close to so many things. If you definitely want to be up in the mountains with outstanding views, this is the place for you. The newly added outdoor fireplace was great to have.

Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

This was an awesome spot, walked to the slopes, kids walked to the basketball courts when not skiing , and the house was immaculate! We’re already planning next year’s family ski trip!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for a family reunion with our twin 6yo daughters. It was cozy so I would say that more than two adults would find it difficult to share the space unless you only needed a space to sleep. The place was clean, had a lovely porch to enjoy the lake views, and was very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The big porches and the swing was a favorite even on a rainy day. We had high winds so we did not get the chance to use the firepit as we hoped but we did warm up in the hot tub. We came in at night and I would not recommend that. Very hard to navigate the directions in the dark but in the daylight no issues. The lake was not as close as we had thought. It is a hike down there and back. Harder to do with kids and fishing gear. We did make it down and opted for the main doc vs the private one as it was quite wobbly with kids. Would be nice to just sit and fish solo though. Did the short hike down to the waterfall, would highly recommend! The house is cozy and inviting. We really enjoyed our time.
