Amazing amazing rental! We were so happy with our stay. So many things are available to do: lake activities, beautiful views, cozy and welcoming studio, patio deck with a hot tub, fire pit. It exceeded my expectations from the pictures. The walk from the room to the lake was beautiful and kept us active. The patio was private with a beautiful view and we absolutely loved the outside shower. The dock area was awesome with boats to sit on, kayaks with lots of life jackets, and a dock that you can access the water from. The value for the price is honestly unbeatable, there are so many things to do and the area is gorgeous. The hosts were INCREDIBLY accommodating to us and kind and were super easy to get a hold of with whatever we needed. They really went above and beyond. Kelly also gave us all the directions and instructions in a timely manner, we had no problems the entire stay. We would love to revisit! We had an amazing time. Thank you so much Kelly!!

Very homey environment with modest accoutrements that were plenty for us. We enjoyed watching the neighbors goats. Great spot to bring your dogs. Small village of other rentals but far enough apart to feel private. Close enough to town to go out or grab provisions but far enough to get a little quiet. All around great stay.

Judy was a fantastic host for an amazing place. She was very communicative and went above and beyond any host I've had to meet our requests. The property itself is perfect if you're coming to the lake to enjoy the lake. The cabin is a great air conditioned place to kick back and get out of the heat, and the backyard was everything we needed. The hot tub was perfectly clean, the fire pit was ready to go, the pool was a very short walk, and the lake itself was only a couple minutes away on foot. Her availability to ferry us back and forth on golf carts was extremely helpful. All on all, this place is a must for your list as you browse a weekend getaway at Buchanan. It was everything we wanted and more, and we certainly will be back someday.

Lisa was a wonderful host and has designed every aspect of the house to be a comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Everything you’d want and nothing you don’t. Very clean and thoughtfully designed, it is the perfect place for a long weekend away. We’re sure to be back!

One of my favorite places I have ever stayed! The house looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It felt private and safe and the surroundings were beautiful. You can tell every detail was really thought out - my favorite part being the water color painting palette we found in the clubhouse. Even the coffee provided in the airbnb was from the local spot that was recommended nearby. I really could not recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon!

Great place to unwind — quiet patio, clean and comfy cabin

Had an amazing stay at salty dog ranch the animals are amazing to wake up to every morning we had tears of joy driving away with them in the rear view mirror. The cabin was just perfect and they have everything you’d ever need to cook and never even have to leave your entire stay. You can tell they take pride in their guest stay and the Airbnb itself. You’re about 20 minutes away in any given direction to Johnson city for wineries ect or to Krause springs to cool off. Untamed winery was a huge hit and their pizzas are amazing. Along with bluebonnet cafe being our favorite Restaraunt during the stay amazing home made pies/ home style cookin.

We were looking for a peaceful weekend and we wanted to get away from our daily routine. We were able to enjoy the kayaks luckily we took our life vests and my girls were able to go on them all together. Love this home and definitely if able during summer we will love to go again.

This cozy little cabin was everything we were hoping for and more! Adorably decorated and situated in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Our family lived enjoying our morning coffee and tea on the front porch while we watched for deer and birds of all kinds! What makes this stay a real treasure is Drew's hospitality - he was so communicative and provided great insight into the home and the area. We felt like we were staying at a family cabin! We will definitely be coming back!

Great place to stay when visiting fredericksburg. Far enough away that you get a great view of the stars at night and privacy you wouldn't get if you stayed near downtown, plus the cabins are so cozy!

4 days on the property and didn't see a single soul. property is near other homes so you'll hear others living their lives during the day... working in the shed, kids playing, car alarms, etc. But mornings and evenings are pretty quiet. property is a good balance of out door camping and convenience of shelter and electricity. good option for a quick get away from Austin, not too long of a drive. outdoor space is great with picnic table, fire pit and hammock. Jay was super helpful and responsive.

Our normal "go to" for when we are in Lampasas was not available so we rented this cute little cabin for the first time. It was clean, well stocked and exactly as described. Alexandra responded immediately to me and was so very easy to work with! Sweet and comfortably decorated cabin in a very peaceful little nook off of the road. Great place to stay~

I loved this place from the moment we arrived… first of all there was an actual key! & not a keypad. The kitchen is the best stocked i have ever seen… I just wanted to sit in the deck all day and listen to the birds sing, but i had to go to work😊 I would definitely stay there again

Our friends and I had an amazing weekend to wrap up our spring break! The property was absolutely beautiful! While it would’ve been even better to see the water fully filled, it didn’t take away from the peaceful atmosphere. A wonderful home in a fantastic location, and we had a blast with friends! Quaint rustic cabins in a very peaceful and beautiful location. The common areas were all well maintained. Even with the drought the river was accessible. This place fits the area to perfection. We were looking for a mix of low key peacefulness and access to fun socializing (local grills, distilleries, farmer markets, etc.). This was the right place. Travis was friendly and quick to respond to any/all question. I would definitely recommend if you are visiting Spicewood or any of the surrounding towns (Marble Falls, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, etc).
