This place is even more beautiful than the pictures--the house is beautifully designed architecturally but also the interior design is equally bright, full of color and every corner has clearly been thoughtfully and lovingly considered. It's creative and totally unique. One of the very best AirBnBs I've stayed in (out of dozens!).

We had an absolutely wonderful three night stay at this cozy and beautifully styled cabin. The location is perfect, nestled in the woods with beautiful surroundings we immediately felt relaxed. The owners have truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and memorable, and they were super responsive to anything we needed. Our favorite thing was the fire and the hammock, where we spent long mornings just laying together and watching the trees sway above us. The wood burning stove made for the most romantic nights, and the jacuzzi was such a relaxing treat after our adventures. The interior is stunning with thoughtful touches and design choices that made it feel both modern but still cozy and welcoming. We’re already planning our next trip here and definitely for a longer stay. We couldn’t find a single thing to critique. It was just perfect. Highly recommend this gem!

The place is great. The downstairs is separate so it’s perfect for 2 different people or couples. The deck does not only have a good view it also is very secure for our dogs. Having a hot tub was an added bonus. Plenty of TV streaming channels. I unfortunately didn’t read the getting there instructions or didn’t remember. Soooo When you turn onto Old Monte Rio road. Veer to left. We took a scenic drive down Lover’s Lane. Yes that’s the name. So back to main entry veered left but then I saw Santa Rosa Ave. Well it’s a long NARROW road. Hence why Chad says stay on Old Monte Rio. So listen to Chad. Lol. A friend came to visit us & he loved the place. He’s very particular about accommodations as he runs a large SF hotel. We walked to downtown Guerneville one time. Probably would not do that again. Not the distance but because not much shoulder on some of the main drag to town. Lastly to review that complained about baseboards in bath. Spend less time in the bathroom. Enjoy the deck

Fantastic location. Walkable to restaurants, trails, and beach. Perfect for a girls weekend. We were a little bit worried about only having one full bathroom, but it worked out fine. Backyard is well situated and blocks the wind; perfect for hanging out after the beach and spending time in the hot tub.

Surrounded by redwoods, with a view of the river, which is a 5 minute walk away. Chad's place is the spot to stay, especially if you're floating on the Russian River. It's close to everything, yet in a forest. You'll enjoy the stay.

My second great stay at the Black Sheep! Very relaxing spot that’s close to everything I like to do in Sonoma County.

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

Spent 15th anniversary trip here. This property is absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces we’ve ever experienced on Airbnb. The gardens are masterfully designed, with lush landscaping that flows effortlessly into the surrounding redwoods. Every corner felt like it was out of a magazine, from multi level decks to tucked-away seating areas surrounded by nature. The views were incredible—rolling hills, towering trees, and complete serenity. What really stood out was how seamlessly the outdoor beauty blended with the indoor comfort. Huge windows, open-air flow, and thoughtful design made it feel like you were immersed in nature even while inside. It was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly romantic—perfect for slow mornings with coffee and unforgettable sunset evenings with a glass of wine. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a private sanctuary equal parts luxury and natural wonder—this is it.

Great views and private. The hot tub was so relaxing and felt like luxury in the middle of nature. The neighbor has some friendly goats that added to the experience. Host was very accommodating and even provided access to his own place so we could get more towels. Would definitely stay again.

Super cute cabin that’s part of the Rio Nido Lodge. Private enclosed yard with a fire pit, picnic table, bikes & hot tub. Cabin was clean and had a great aesthetic. I somehow missed that it was a 1 rm studio - I was expecting a separate sleeping space - but it was fine. The best part was the access to all the amenities at the lodge and roadhouse.

Probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. This place truly has everything you need to be a home away from home and more. My kids loved the sea ranch kids park near shell beach. The hosts we're extremely kind and responsive, even on Christmas day for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

5 stars for location, beauty, tranquility. Hot tub was healing. Cabin is older so expect some squeaks. Well stocked in kitchen

Staying at this house was an incredible experience, the surrounding nature alone is stunning, and made all the better by the tasteful, super cozy interior design. Big floor to ceiling windows all around the first floor really make you feel immersed in the surrounding woods. Two great outdoor terraces. Very short drive down to the sea ranch lodge, and lots of hiking accessible on foot or a short drive away

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

I had a wonderful stay at Chad’s lovely and secluded cabin in Sea Ranch! The hot tub and BBQ made for a very fun and relaxing getaway. And the beach nearby is absolutely incredible!!

If you’re looking for a private, peaceful, and beautiful location for some rest, or travel. Kaity’s cabin is it! Her cabin offers beautiful views from almost every angle. Sitting outside on the balcony in the evening was bliss. No cars, loud conversations, or chaos anywhere in sight. Only beautiful silence. My pup and I went on hikes and enjoyed all that nature has to offer. Her cabin is roomy, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and hope others do as well.

Perfect spot for a long weekend stay! Comfortable with lots of natural light. A welcoming space for kids and dogs - especially appreciate the securely fenced yard. Looked exactly like the photos, and every amenity was as described.

We loved our stay here! We were comfy and cozy in the cabin. The view was gorgeous. I loved sitting outside reading during the day and our dog had so much fun running around the yard. We had everything we needed, and Jill was proactive and responsive. It is thoughtful that she has a bag of doggy things for guests!

We stayed here for a work related trip. The place was beautiful and perfect for my employee to get some well deserved rest after long work days.

This Timber Cove home was truly a peaceful retreat. The home had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway, best of all the epic view. The super dog friendly vibe was awesome - my two dogs loved basking in the sun and watching the wildlife. We didn’t feel the need to leave the property often, but Lindsay gave great dog-friendly restaurant/hiking/local sights recommendations that we enjoyed. The home was spotless and the property is well maintained. I can’t wait to stay again!!

We loved our stay at Victoria’s Novato cabin! We were in town for a wedding, and it was the perfect space for our group of 4 (though it could have easily/ comfortably fit and slept more). The home was quiet and peaceful, and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked! We were all over Marin and Sonoma counties during our week-long stay, and nothing ever felt too far. Easy access to the 101, so easy access to get all over northern CA. Overall, this hike was a great space that fit all of our needs!

Jordan and Jennifer were super responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. The house was cozy and had everything that we needed. Perfect for the weekend getaway that we wanted! I'd love to return for another relaxing stay.

it is all about location! but it was spendy...but clean and right where we needed to be. I would rent there again...
