Cottage vacation rentals in San Luis Obispo

We had planned on staying Paso, but pivoted last minute and were delighted with our stay in Templeton (a very charming town). This cottage has a great outdoor space to watch the raptors, ravens and other birds. the location is great for visiting wineries and also close to Tin City.

Sherry's place was clean, quiet, and cozy with beautiful surroundings. Sherry was helpful and responsive. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone visiting the Cambria area.

Great little cottage for our small family while visiting friends in the area. The cottage is just as described and the hosts even provide a sample of the Harmony ice cream, a delicious surprise! Harmony is a cute little town, we enjoyed walking around everyday, saying good morning to the cows (alive and statues) and grabbing a specialty coffee at morii. We will be back!

Very charming and lovely place - both inside and out. Beautiful plants/flowers and view. Tastefully decorated inside including a bouquet of flowers, unique light fixtures, and paintings . Location is terrific - beach just down the street was perfect. Best view of Morro Rock as well as surfer watching. We very much enjoyed our stay- price very reasonable an added bonus. Plenty of space for our family of 5.

Joanne’s Cayucos Cottage was extremely comfortable and cozy. The view of the ocean, Morro Rock, and the pier was spectacular! The place was very clean and quiet. Very close walk to town and the beach. Joanne is a great communicator and made some good suggestions of local things to do. Lots of good memories were made.

Super host and superb accommodations! Greg greeted us on arrival showing us around their lovely surroundings, including their beloved bison. Greg and Gloria provided every detail for a perfect stay… Their cottage is spacious, very nicely furnished and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen is fully loaded and we sure appreciated the very kind extras including; A quality bottle of local wine, along with snacks, water, juices and breakfast items in the fridge. Wonderful hosts who truly care about providing comfort for their guests, Thank you so much Greg and Gloria!

Shelly's home is beautiful and in an incredible, private, and quiet location nestled in their vineyard. The house is and property are very meticulously maintained. Thank you Shelly.

Such a cute little gem of a place! Location was great and walking distance to so many places. Loved the enclosed front yard to relax and enjoy the weather. The house had plenty of space for our little family with very comfortable beds. Would highly recommend!

Wow!!! Just the home feeling was amazing, we went in the jacuzzi early in the mornings and the slight fog felt perfect for the privacy feeling, the safe and comfortable atmosphere was very pleasant. We were able to cook meals and the cottage had all the necessary utensils needed. The directions were accurate and helpful and found the cottage right away. The customer service and messaging response was amazing and we will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time here. Very comfy bed, very nice interior decoration, very cosy. We loved the cold dips in the pool and running to the hot tub. It felt like we were alone with the wildlife: deers, squirrels, a skunk and many many birds. The short flat trail on the property is nice. Highly recommended

Magical Space and Perfect Host! Jane's beautiful cottage is a dream retreat! The cottage is nestled in lush roses with soft waterfall sounds and nature as far as the eye can see from the cute private patio. Crisp, fresh interior and the coziest beds and linens made the space inviting both day and night! Jane was so kind and helpful! She was quickly and joyfully available for anything, like making sure I knew how to get the amazing spa to the perfect temperature:) You are surrounded by vineyards and nature while just a short drive to Tin City and downtown Paso Robles. Channon and Randal were so friendly and helpful! And the property is so beautiful to see, from the pond with fishes and turtles to the large oak trees and outdoor fireplace, my wife and I couldn't get enough. This property is definitely worth a visit. The large property size combined with it's location in wine country really made it feel more private and secluded, just what I was looking for. I am grateful I got to stay here, and also grateful for their hospitality and accommodations!

We loved our stay with our 16 year old who also loved it! It was a fantastic location for our local entertainment, dining, and shopping. Very easy to find, simple entry, and great backyard! We are so glad to have had our Memorial Day weekend with our son here!

This was a great place. Very close to everything. It was nice that the neighbors weren’t too close. Would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay at Tahiti hut. Walkable to the beach and up enough from the main road that it was very peaceful and quiet. A little smaller than anticipated but we didn’t mind because most time was spent outdoors. The projector was an unexpected surprise and led to some great movie nights. Loved the outdoor space too. Kitchen was large enough to be workable and had a few basics. No dishwasher though. Would recommend and would stay again!

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway with our daughter who attends CalPoly. The location was great, the home was spotless, and we appreciated the recommendations offered by the host. We will definitely be back!!

We love Aaron’s cottage. It was our second time vacationing here. It is beautiful, peaceful and meticulously thoughtful with beach towels, beach chairs, blankets, etc. the deck is such a relaxing place to dine and soak in some rays. We love the kitchen, and it has everything you need to cook or to grill. Aaron is a lovely host and very helpful. It is a perfect location to walk to the Arroyo Grande village with lots of cute shops and delicious restaurants. We love staying here because it truly feels like a home away from home.

Fantastic stay. The little home is very clean and cozy. It is very easy to tell that the place is full of memories and warmth. There are a lot of cute little items (all with the same theme and color palette!!), and every corner is a pleasant surprise. Could be the best airbnb we've ever lived in.

We had a wonderful long weekend staying here. The house was much bigger and more spacious than expected. The view from the porch is so beautiful. All weekend we were talking about how it felt like we were sitting in Tuscany. Thank you to the excellent host who made the trip memorable.

Our stay with Richard at the ganja get away was amazing! Such a quiet area to enjoy the amazing Weather and some herb ! Our group had a blast and we enjoyed playing the records and just over all having a great time , thank you so much we will be back!!

Truly could not recommend Angela’s place more. I am beating myself for not renting this place sooner (I had it on a previous trip’s list). You can walk everywhere including the beach in sub 10 minutes. Adorable place, perfect mix of private and shared spaces. Made what started out as a bumpy trip, very much worth it all. Angela went above and beyond and she and her partner were so kind and warm in the few exchanges we had. Just book it if you’re looking for the best mix of activity, beauty & location.
