Apartment vacation rentals in San Jose

Matthew’s home is in a perfect location just five minutes from both Nisene Marks and the beach. The home itself is perched up several flights of stairs in the trees (worth the climb!) with a beautiful view overlooking the forest. It’s tranquil and private. The well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches like having coffee and cooking spices ready were appreciated. Matthew is a friendly and proactive host and offered good local recommendations. I’d stay here again.

Needed a place to stay for a Giants game that was close by. Carls place was perfect had everything we needed plus parking. Will be coming back for any future Giants games.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

Todd answered all of my questions quickly and space was exactly how it was described and matched pictures. Amenities made the trip easy!

This property and experience is a gem! The location is gorgeous and central, the space is homey yet elegant and spacious and the hosts are lovely and responsive. A very well appointed and relaxing stay in the heart of the city. I very much look forward to returning.

excellent place to stay for a conference. hotel concierge was incredibly friendly. gym and hot tub were super nice. as mentioned in other comments, this is a hotel room rented out through Airbnb. free coffee is in the club on the top level!

lovely place with patio in a nice neighborhood. has all amenities needed for a longer stay. garage is very small - my full size sedan did not fit - street parking is easy to find, however

It was great experience. The room was extremely clean and spacious, and the host, Roman, was truly deserving of the title 'superhost' with his kindness and quick response.

I spent a week here when my own apartment was under renovation. It was great! Very cozy, but had everything needed to live my daily life uninterrupted. I got to meet LaurieAnn and she was very kind. I will stay again if I need a place in Oakland. Thanks LaurieAnn!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. There were 5 of us and we were very comfortable. If we had quesitons we recieved a very quick response. The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos and is very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to Park Street. The apartment has a full kitchen but if you are looking to get out and enjoy the Alameda nightlife (it's not too crazy) it's very easy to walk to nearby restaurants, bars, and coffee places. The dedicted parking spot was a plus, and our son enjoyed the basketball hoop. We will stay here again if we have another larger group.

This is the best experience I have to live in Airbnb, the rooms are pretty clean and everything inside makes you feel comfortable. Judi was such a lovely host. She warmly greeted me and my partner upon our arrival and showed us to our living quarters which was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was a comfortable stay and conveniently located to shops and restaurants in Oakland and close proximity to San Francisco! I’d definitely stay here again!

Amazing property with a great host! The location is in the heart of Capitola with tons of walkable shops, restaurants, and the beach right there. The place really is luxury. The host was also extremely responsive and accommodating. Our family will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful stay in a great location near the University!

Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

I really love John's place. He is so nice and the place is so clean and comfortable. I really enjoy cooking in the kitchen.
