Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Roanoke County

Dragonfly Ridge never disappoints! We’ve been staying here for about 6years and the place keeps improving; kitchen to bathrooms, updated comfortable furniture to a new fenced in area for pets. Always a relaxing time.

We loved our stay at Ezekiel’s house! We were so happy with the location we love being in the woods!

Summer Lane was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. Douglas and Ashley thought of everything in this house. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked and the icemaker and water were an added bonus as well as the built-in coffee maker.

What a great rental!! We had our grown children over and had plenty of room for everyone. If anything there wasn't enough time to take advantage of all the amenities offered at this location. Stephanie was very helpful, answering any questions I had prior to arrival and during our stay. Will absolutely be staying there again!!

Beautiful home located within a quick walk to the Main Street with local shops, restaurants and things to do. The house is so cute and cozy, bed was amazingly comfortable and there were plenty of condiments and accessories provided so I didn’t have to purchase a bunch. Norma Jean is very responsive, proactively communicating and just a pleasant host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful 3 night Thanksgiving trip to Bedford to enjoy dinner with my niece and other family members. The house is cozy and comfortable. Perfect size for my husband and I. The kitchen and bath were beautifully updated. Furnishings and decor were "country chic". Spotless cleaning practices observed. Definitely returning if next Thanksgiving is again in Bedford. We are looking to buy a home in this area so stayed at Rock's place. lt was absolutely as described in a quiet location. Our pups were welcome. very clean home, comfortable sofa and beds. There was a lot of outside amenities like a large screened in porch but weather was a little cool for that.

Birgit is a very nice host, she is willing to work with you. And if you need anything she has your back. She even gave us recommendations for restaurants and even gave me and my partner who was with me what the housing market around was like. I absolutely will come back and I recommend Birgit as an AirBnb host

Neil is a great host! Highly recommend lodging here if in the Roanoke area. We really enjoyed our stay.

This place was just like the photos and very easy to find! We loved the atmosphere of this place and loved how there is a brewery right up the hall! My fiance did not want to leave. We went to the Virginia tech game and it was a great place to stay for it!

This was simply the most amazing stay I have ever had! Space was larger than it looks in the photos & laid out very well. Everything was pristine & clean, which is what always matters to me most. Kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook & great location as we were able to walk to the Co-op just a little over a mile away. And did I mention our favorite brewery in Roanoke is right in the building? Great communication from host too. Highly highly recommended!

I stopped at Neil’s place for a quick over night on a long road trip. The apartment was clean and comfortable! Would recommend to others!

This place was just as pictured. Neil was a great host, after the day of check-in he asked how everything was going, which was wonderful. He is very responsive and will fix anything if there is a problem. I felt completely safe in this building, there was a special code to get in the building and then a different one to get into your space along with security cameras. He had a book of recommendations for things to do in the area, which was a great idea. It was a nice comfy, cozy little place for a single person or a couple to share. I will definitely book again with Neil if I need a place.

Thanks for hosting me last minute!! It was such a great stay! The only flaw was there were old coffee grounds in the coffee filter. No big deal though. I dumped them out and cleaned the filter and then everything was good to go!

I really enjoyed my stay the place was absolutely beautiful and I really needed the break so peaceful and serene it was so nice seeing all the animals!!! Melba was so sweet as well and was really great at communicating! I will be back soon!

My wife and I lived down the road for a few years. We made many friends in and around the NRV. Great place to stay while we got together with old friends. Fins Folly was just as described. The host checked in by text to make sure everything was good, which it was. I would highly recommend Finns Folly for a peaceful experience but, with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We visited in November and the cozy cabin was perfect. Everything was super clean and comfortable and the fireplace was fantastic. Really well-stocked kitchen, all the pits and pans we needed to do all of our cooking. Beautiful location right on the water! Plenty of space for my family of 6!

Very relaxing, great place to take in some mountain air!

Rhonda was proactive in contacting me prior to our stay. She answered all my questions within a short amount of time. Her & her husband are great hosts and you can tell they truly care about their guests. The space both inside and out was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday.

Mike and Terri were great hosts. This was the PERFECT family getaway. We loved being surrounded by nature, seeing their horses, wildlife and walking the grounds. The fire pit was an added bonus and the overall vi ed of the home and property was exactly what we were looking for- serenity. I highly recommend and we’ll definitely return when we need another break from the fast life.

The place was clean, quiet, secluded. Exactly what I was looking for. Melissa catered to my dogs which was a major plus for me. The outdoor areas were open and clean. The grill was clean and ready to go. Melissa was a text away when I had any issue. My husband loved the fire pit and the abundance of deer. Our stay was worry free and exactly what we needed. Also, the view of the surrounding mountains and vineyard were even more beautiful than I imagined.

Absolute gem. Private hideaway for couples looking to spend sometime together. From the time you walked in everything was so easy to find and use. It was our first time using a fire heated tub and was amazed at the heat we had even on our super cold night. Definitely 10/10 and David has directions laid out so we never had a question wether we could handle it or not. I did feel like I needed a stool to jump up into bed but the climb is worth it. We couldn't have asked for better sleep, than in that amazing bed. The gorgeous claw foot tub stole my heart but did have quite a bit of a step up and into, but the soak was well deserved. We can't say how much we absolutely loved the cabin and have recommended it to others already! Amazing place!
