Ruth is a great hostess. Her basement apartment has everything we needed for our stay. It was very convenient to the Virginia Tech campus. This was our second time staying at Ruth’s place this past year. We will certainly return.

Cheryl’s place was ever better than expected! The space is very large and pristinely clean. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful. We arrived after dark and it was very easy to find and well lit on the property. Cheryl was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions. The property is gorgeous and I wish we had more time to hike and explore. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Cheryl’s forest retreat!

Gorgeous place tucked back in the country side of Pilot on peaceful property. Inside was very clean and nicely decorated with everything you’d need. We came for a football game and it was perfect for a weekend getaway. The owners were very friendly and did a great job of making us feel at home. Would book again!

Nice, quiet place, close to everything in Christiansburg and not far from Virginia Tech. Surprised to see three deer sleeping in the big backyard early in the morning.

The space was perfect for 2 people- very clean. We had the privilege of meeting the owner, Pops, very nice. Room & accommodations were just as described. I have shared all 3 of their rental With friends.

Awesome stay at John’s place. He was an extremely responsive host and check in was super easy. It’s a 15 minute walk to downtown which was nice. The place itself is clean, everything is labeled, and there are lots of small details like hand warmers, flashlights, and phone chargers that made it feel well-equipped. Loved my weekend stay here!

The rental was clean and cozy. Having some different spices and coffee available was a nice plus. The access to the lake was A1. Being able to access the lake with a kayak was a new and rewarding experience for me. Lynne was easy to reach thru the app but allowed my wife and I our space during our time there. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

Wonderful stay at Nancy’s place. Had everything we needed for 2 nights visiting our kids at Tech. Location is awesome and close proximity to everything you need in Blacksburg. The bed was super comfortable and furnishings etc. and decor was nice. Nancy has paid attention to details and anything you may need! She was super responsive and helpful if I needed anything. Would definitely stay here again.

I could not have asked for two more welcoming hosts than Ann and Larry. This was my first time in the US and they went out of their way to make my stay convenient and pleasant. The place is filled with all sorts of interesting art pieces, books, and games. It is very conveniently located with a Kroger's nearby as well as a Hello Bagel which I frequented. There are easy bike routes in to VT and also the buses regularly run to campus. If I ever have the pleasure of returning to Blacksburg I'll do my best to book in here!

John and Sharon were terrific hosts. They left a "Welcome" card with delicious muffins from a local bakery. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the lake and this location has the best views we have seen. The interior looks brand new and updated, tasteful decor, and very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed to cook dinner both nights we stayed. We were given access to the Tiki Bar where we sat in comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the lake. We sat with our coffee enjoying the cool morning, colorful Fall leaves and saw a mother and baby deer scamper across the backyard. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

My hostess was wonderful very communicative. I just want to thank her. She was amazing. I would definitely love her services again!!

Great stop over in secluded area, lots of trails that my 4 legged companion loved. Jesi was responsive and provided some special little extras, that made the short time we spent feel more comfortable.

Easy stay that was accurately described and pictures with thoughtful extras of coffee, creamer and toiletries. Very neat, clean and airy with high ceilings. Good temperature control and comfortable bed. Nice size kitchen and living room for the space. Easy parking and communication. Would stay again.
