Farmstay vacation rentals in Pennsylvania

Our stay was great! The space was private and comfortable. We reached out to Sonia for a tour of the farm and her and her family happily showed us around! The scenery was beautiful. We hope to come back one day!

Esther's place was very beautiful. We wished we didn't have to rush in and out and had more time to explore the farm. I slept really well (firm mattress and flat pillow). If you prefer a puffier pillow, there were 2 of those but I opted for the flatter one. Super clean. We're grateful for the water bottles. The white noise machine in the other room came in handy for the baby, since we forgot ours. Highly recommend staying here.

This was a wonderful stay for us with our granddaughter and our two large dogs. Our granddaughter was able to pet the horses which she loved and our dogs loved to explore the surroundings on leash but really loved the fenced in field where they were able to run. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and the scenery was gorgeous. We were there to visit Gettysburg which was only a short drive so we were able to leave the dogs for a while and still go back to walk/feed them and go out again. Steve was very friendly, greeted us when we arrived and was very responsive to our questions.

The perfect house for a long weekend with friends. We very comfortably fit six adults and five kids (ages 5, 4, 2, 1 and 1). So well equipped for families with a crib in the master bedroom and tons of toys and games. Lots of places to hang out from the beautiful screened in porch to the open layout upstairs and game room downstairs. The location is incredible… a front yard full of horses (you’re living amongst the farms) and a very short drive to the activities we chose. Highly recommend checking out Cherry Crest Farm, Strasbourg train and Dutch Wonderland. Across the street from the house is an Amish stand with fresh baked goods and strawberries. For food, Lancaster Brewing co was fantastic as well as Speckled Hen. Can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved staying at this old farmhouse. It was a very comfortable place with unmatched privacy. We cooked steaks of the grill, caught a few fish in the pond, checked out the cows and goats, enjoyed 2 different local icecream shops, and were able to totally relax. Felt like a true get away from the pressure and hustle of life. If we went again the only thing we would do is stay longer.

This country location is beautiful and peaceful. The house was well stocked. We loved having a fire in the fire pit out back. Worked well for multiple family members staying there. Kevin and Wyonna were very responsive to an issue and took care of it right away. Would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed at the Coop for Valentine's day and had a wonderful and relaxing time. We felt secluded in the cozy, inviting, quaint cabin, cooked in the clean and stocked kitchen, took long baths in the clawfoot tub surrounded by views of the property, and took birding walks around the hiking trail. Our hosts brought us freshly baked, still-warm blueberry muffins in the morning (which were delicious) and had left us a bottle of wine and some fresh eggs when we arrived. The stone path to get up to the front door was a little slippery during our snowy/rainy stay, but even my fairly clumsy partner managed it fine. When I told the hosts that I was looking forward to birding during our stay, they made sure to put out some bird seed before we got there, and I noticed some birding books amongst the library. It felt like we were staying in a well-loved home in the woods and it was exactly what we needed. Perfect place for a creative, relaxing retreat in nature.

We had a wonderful stay. The farmhouse is equipped and prepared for all kinds of different wants and needs. You can as easily spent time inside the house, as exploring the trails and nature outside. Everything went very smoothly.

Everything was just lovely! We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing cottage. Kim and Matt were great hosts, they were thoughtful and made everything easy for us. Would definitely love to come again!

I enjoyed my stay so much at the farm. Waking up and having coffee on the porch was great and the goats were really sweet. Claire checked on me often and made sure I had everything I needed. 10/10 recommend this place. I’d love to see the farm in full bloom, but really enjoyed the quiet.

My stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The place was incredibly clean, cozy, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything was well-maintained, and I truly appreciated the comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful, relaxing place! Perfect for a girls’ birthday getaway for three friends. This adorable little home was cleaned and maintained so well, surrounded by fresh lavender and other beautiful plants. Absolutely loved the hot tub and soaking tub (both cleaned immaculately! Nothing worse than renting a place that doesn’t clean these - we were so happy to see how clean they were!). Great place for peace and quiet, and not far at all from many restaurants at sights in Strasburg/Lancaster if you want to get out.

The Silo House was perfect for our stay. We were in town for a wedding and the special treats from Lisa were delightful. We have already recommended Lisa’s place to friends and family who might visit Gettysburg in the future.

the cottage was tastefully appointed and spotlessly clean. Mike called us as soon as he realized that we'd forgotten a phone there and saved us the aggravation of the loss. we enjoyed our stay and recommend this gracious host.

This place is awesome and we can’t wait to return. Everything was very clean, and it was private and so relaxing. The owners were very responsive and provided everything and even surprised us with fresh eggs. The chickens were such fun to watch from the patio, and Izzy their dog was so friendly. The owners are wonderful people and they were very attentive. We can’t wait to return.

Stephanie and her husband were incredibly friendly and kind-hearted, I absolutely loved them! Their home is beautiful, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. My friends and I really enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and watching the sunsets (along with the cows, which were such a fun surprise!). It was the perfect getaway, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The peace and serenity here is unmatched. It truly is a little slice of paradise. Our family had a wonderful short stay to see a Sight and Sound production. Katelyn&Matt’s place was a perfect choice. The house is as spotless as it is charming, and even has a flock of chickens that come out to great you as if you were a long lost relative. Too funny. There was nothing we could ask for - the house is extremely well appointed. Thanks for the great stay!

Everything was perfect! We got to enjoy time with family in a location that was easy to find and accessible to all our needs.

The farmhouse was beautiful. We had 8 adults and 5 children and one infant and we all fit very comfortably in the accommodations. The house was very clean and welcoming. If was fun for the kids to see the animals and the eggs were a bonus! Will definitely recommend to our friends for future stays.

This is a wonderful place to stay at! Very peaceful and quiet. My husband and I came from CT on the motorcycle, the place is so cozy that we took a nap after we got there. The place is so clean, looks brand new! We definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Overall: 5+++ stars (everything great) Noise: Lack of it and neighbors Scenery: Trees, waves of grain, cows, barns Bonus: Cookies, farm fresh eggs, milk, and a homemade pie, s'mores kit, firewood Cleanliness: Cleaner than some expensive hotels Communication: Goldilocks; not too little/much, but just right. We ran out of propane mid-grill, but a quick call to Tresa had Chris delivering and setting up a new tank in under 5 minutes. That is not an exaggeration since they live down the road, but we never felt that they were hovering. Kid Friendly: Yes, pack and play, kitchen plates and utensils, cups, toys. Bring extra batteries because some of the electronic toys were dead. But this is a bonus and not part of the rental. The stairs leading to the bedrooms are padded, and my kids (2&4) had no problems with it. The bedrooms upstairs were isolated enough to not hear the noise from the TV in the living room. We would love to come back here on our next trip to Knoebels.

It was the perfect place for our young family to stay for a long weekend and wedding. The home is less than 10 minutes away from the Inn At Leola, and provided a great "home base" for the wedding festivities. Our children loved playing outside and we loved that everyone had more than enough space to sleep comfortably. The farm is beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Such a great stay! We came to go skiing at Elk mountain. The house was cozy and perfect for a big group!
