Family-friendly vacation rentals in North Historic District, Savannah

This is an older building, but pretty well taken care of. It was a little frustrating having to have a key fob anytime you went outside, but I can appreciate the security of it. The room is exactly as described and cozy! This is actually two units made into one, so we were able to have our own space and so were my parents! It is a quick walk to the beach and to the shops. We rented bikes and rode all over the island all weekend, it was a blast!

Turtle Tracks was exactly as described. The unit was a cozy retreat for me and my two sisters and my 84 year old mother. We drove from 3 different locations and met up there to celebrate mom’s birthday. It was a wonderful weekend getaway that we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed the local restaurants and spent one morning exploring some of the many thrift shops. (We all have bargains that we brought home.). We also experienced a live performance at the Main Street Theater. We saw The Lion King Junior. The children and crew did an amazing job. I would highly recommend taking in a show at this amazing gem of a venue. Finally, I want to thank Jennifer, our host, for sharing her cozy, clean and comfortable condo with my family. Teena’s place was beautiful -the beds are very comfortable and nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was so nice to be right on the beach and see the sunrise. We saw a lot of birds, including a resident pair of eagles! We were fascinated by the length of the difference between low and high tide and it was neat to experience it all. The indoor pool and hottub was nice to have since the outdoor pool wasn’t technically open yet (even though we did lounge on the chairs and dip in slightly when we got hot.) We enjoyed how peaceful and private this area of the island is. We would go back again -thank you, Teena, for providing a lovely home away from home for us.

Melinda's place was wonderful. She was a great communicator throughout the process from start to finish and made it easy for us to have a great family vacation. Her condo was just what we were looking for! It had plenty of space and well situated for our family. The Condo was well maintained and clean, beds were comfortable, sofa and chairs comfortable too! It was nice having the amenities like beach chairs and kart to take things to the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice to have access to especially on cooler and rainy days! Also, Melinda's condo is on the top floor but there are 2 elevators on the property with baggage carts to help you haul stuff up and down. The location is good, the beach is a short walk, and within walking/short bike ride to restaurants, stores and playgrounds! We would highly recommend and would stay here again!

It was so nice and clean and we enjoyed everything! The weather wasn't that great but no one can control that.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending all of February, 2025 here. Everything was easy; booking, location of the unit and getting in. The entire unit was spotlessly clean and there was a complete and generous supply of starter supples. Two minor issues arose for which I needed the owners' advice and the response was immediate and friendly with clear and complete information. The highpoint of the location is the fact that this unit is located in the only building of this complex which has an indoor pool which was kept at a comfortable 90+ degrees and was perfect for those occasional cool, rainy days. The home was lovely and nostalgic. It fits in perfectly with the surrounding area. The location is the main reason we chose this home as you can walk to many shops, restaurants and historic sites. The area is clean and well kept, street lighting was great for a walk home after dinner. The house had all necessary items for our stay. Heat/AC/hot water all worked great. We were able to street park directly in front of the home every day without issue. My only con was the master bed, I’m a bed snob, it was ok but not something I’d recommend. We were only there a few nights so manageable, but if I had to stay longer it would have been a major issue.

This was a great tiny place. We enjoyed the entire trip so much. Everything that we experienced was almost in walking distance. The only time we had to drive was when we went to River Street District.

A nice place to stay in a hip up and coming neighborhood south of the historic district. Close to a nice bakery and good restaurants. The place is comfortable and the owner was very responsive throughout our stay.

The place was great. It had everything we needed for a family of four and centrally located. The restaurant on the bottom floor also really helps was excellent.

Beautifully decorated unit close to Forsyth Park! Sarah was a great hostess/very responsive to any questions we had. Street parking was easy and free. Reminders for sweeping days are posted on door, but there was still plenty of parking available.

Mark's garden apartment is a gem, and one of the finest hosting experiences I've had on the platform. The space is exceptionally well-designed, both aesthetically and functionally – it's clearly the work of a an interiors professional. It felt like an elevated space to come home to, while still feeling family-friendly for our 6-year-old. The serene shared courtyard was a peaceful retreat, virtually private except for occasional visits from the gardener. One highlight for me was the modern HVAC (I read numerous reviews for other properties in Savannah's Historic District with problematic window A/C units). The home was stocked with everything we needed: plenty of towels, a good range of kitchenware, laundry soap, and coffee (why is this so rare on Airbnb!). When we encountered a minor door issue, someone arrived within minutes to resolve. The neighborhood is ridiculously beautiful, especially in the midst of Spring. I look forward to returning, thank you Mark and family!

We loved the cottage! We had three different sets of family, friends stay with us over 10 days and they loved it also. We would come back and the others said they would too.

Familiarize yourself with the after hours contact number in advance, keypad entry code, and keep your device on you to avoid a lock out emergency. The front door locks from the outside immediately and automatically when shut. Super grateful for the polite community support, and swift response from the host. Overall great experience and I recommend renting.

The house was beautiful in a great location. Easy walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and a great farmers market in Forsyth park on Saturday! We didn’t want to leave.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment is cozy and spacious. It was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. The location was perfect. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and close to attractions in Downtown Savannh. David was very responsive to my needs and corners. I highly recommend this for your next stay in Savannah.

I was so excited for our stay in Savannah, and the town and property did not disappoint! They kept all the original 1838 features of the home, which was so spacious. On site parking was a huge bonus, although the bus route was only a block away. The location could not have been more perfect. Two misses for us, was the size/location of the fridge - you basically had to sit on the floor to access it, and it was very small. It held less than you would think, so a daily trip to the store was required. Also the coded gate was EXTREMELY CUMBERSOME, when the light doesn't work above it, and you also needed the code to get OUT. Inconvenient if going to your car to retrieve something, or if there was a fire. Those were the only negatives, otherwise everything else exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again as the location was perfect for feeling like a local.

Very clean. Felt cozy. The only issue is a password for the key and door were a little difficult to commit to memory so always had to pull my phone out to get into both. Otherwise, great location. I used to live in Savannah and this was perfect area for anyone visiting for a good price.

I came down for Memorial Day weekend with my family of 5, my parents, and my brother's family of 3. Lady Liberty provided the perfect setup, each family enjoyed being separate but together with the layout of the townhouse. My children enjoyed the heated plunge pool and actually spent hours playing. The house is very clean and includes many essentials to get you started (lasted the three day weekend for us), including paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, bar soap, travel size shampoo & conditioner, laundry detergent, and umbrellas. There are also a couple of board and card games. One thing worth noting, all exterior doors have a keypad however the door inside the garage which leads to the stairwell for the carriage house has a physical key. This key is located inside the kitchen of the main house. Since we parked in the garage, we were met with a locked door. The Property Mngt company was responsive & unlocked the door. We later found the key... We will definitely return. Thank you

A lovely cottage! The cottage has its own driveway, which makes it so much easier loading and unloading items. No driving around hoping for a parking spot. We loved, loved, loved, the location. All the places of interest were a short walk away. The back porch was the perfect place to relax. Our host was always quick to respond. We hope to return again next year!
