Highlights: The bed is very comfortable for 2 sleepers. We have opposite preferences (I like firm, he likes soft) and we were both reasonably happy. My favorite part was that I didn't shoot off the bed like a cartoon character when he stood up - it's pretty well padded foam so the spring action of your grandma's guest bed is nowhere to be found here. Cotton everything was such a relief - I never find this much cotton at an Airbnb! The comforter, sheets, pillowcases, and towels...seriously heaven. The shower got hot quick with great pressure and was tall enough for my 6'2" husband. Guest mode on the Roku TV was an excellent discovery. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was easy to find and not cluttered or missing items. But most of all, the cherry on top was all the recommendations! I have lived in Charleston and worked on James Island and all the extra tips and tricks were new even to me. Can't recommend enough!

We had a great stay at Brett’s! It was a cozy place to spend a week while exploring Charleston. We drove down to Charleston - easy parking and very easy to get around to the beach or downtown. The place had everything we needed and more - they had a nice little beach bag for us to take and other little toiletries. It was pouring rain one day so we happily stayed inside and watched tv until the rain cleared out.

So easy to access the home and although you stay right next to the owners, there is complete privacy and you feel comfortable! Very nice home and having a pet with a yard made it so easy to stay there

This was the cutest above garage studio. It is very well done, clean and comfortable. The property is very well maintained- we would definitely stay here again! The AC was not working properly when we arrived but Holly responded immediately and got it working. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at Brooke’s cottage while on a girls trip this April. The house was perfect - even better than the photos! We woke up every morning and drank our coffee outside. It was an absolutely perfect place to be with friends.

The highlight of this charming spot is without a doubt the beautiful cottage garden, it’s like stepping into a peaceful, storybook setting. Thoughtfully designed and well maintained, the garden stole the show! The home itself was cozy and clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe, and it was an easy drive to downtown Charleston and nearby beaches.

Clean & conscious hosts! Mindful of needs that may crop up, lovely home & family. Flexible! Perfect oasis away from the bustle of Charleston.

The most important thing for me when I am staying away from home is cleanliness. Georgia's place was spotless! It had everything I needed and was within an easy drive to restaurants, grocery stores, and a great coffee shop. I would not hesitate to return.

We brought our dogs and it was great to have a place that allowed them and was a nice space. It is clean and beautifully updated. It’s a great place for two couples to stay as it has privacy but also nice common areas. It was a good location to be able to get to downtown or Folly beach easily. Sullivan’s beach area was a bit further but still convenient enough to get to. The hosts care about your stay and check in during/respond quickly. They had everything needed to make it a comfortable stay. We would love to come here again-especially when the pool is done!

This beautiful cozy little home was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon!!! We had an amazing trip, and so much of that was due to staying at Derek’s airbnb. The location of this place was awesome! Lots of nice restaurants and places to grab food nearby (Mex 1 Coastal Cantina was walking distance - we went here multiple times!!). It was the perfect location to go to folly beach or downtown charleston, very central to everything! Inside it is so cute, cozy, and clean! We drove from multiple states away and when we got in late, we were happy to find the space with lights on and ac set to a comfortable temp. We were also surprised to find a bottle of wine as a congratulations for our wedding; That was so kind!! Both the bed and the couch in the living room were SO COMFY!!!! We were very pleased with that. We really appreciated all of the kitchen-ware and utensils etc. that were stocked in the kitchen. We were also thankful that they supplied 2 beach chairs and beach towels.

This is a very nice cottage in a lovely and quiet setting. The cottage was spotless and all furnishings were new. Check-in was easy.

We had such a great stay at The James! Caitlin and Spencer were incredibly friendly, responsive, and thoughtful hosts. The house was not only beautiful and comfortable, but came with a detailed manual and a curated guidebook that made exploring Charleston so easy. Every detail was so well thought out. From the labeled amenity lockers to the dog-friendly touches. Communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. We’d absolutely stay here again. Dreamy little neighborhood looks like a movie set! Loved staying at Lucy's place! If you're lucky you might get to meet her two adorable golden retrievers! The space we stayed in was really nice. All AirBnbs should be like this!

Stayed here by myself for 4 nights and had a wonderful time!! Jon’s loft is very clean, comfy, and close to the beach. It was absolutely perfect and I can’t wait to stay again next time I visit.

This was our first time visiting the area and it didn’t disappoint. We loved staying at Chris and Cathy’s. The location was perfect. We spent a couple days at Sullivan’s Island and enjoyed dining at some of the restaurants at Shem Creek. It was so clean and I felt right at home. They responded quickly whenever we had a question and they were very friendly. We would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was relaxing, beautifully maintained, and had such a peaceful vibe that made it easy to unwind. The location couldn’t have been better. It was close to everything we wanted to see, yet tucked away enough to feel like a private retreat. The hosts were welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly felt at home and would 100% stay here again. This was our favorite Airbnb stay yet! The 22-acre horse farm is peaceful, private, and surrounded by woods—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had our own entrance, and even though the space is on the lower level, it never felt like a basement. It was beautifully decorated, and spotless. The bed was super comfortable, and the ambiance made us feel instantly at home. We loved all the thoughtful touches—washer and dryer, three types of coffee makers, and so many small details. It was incredibly quiet and cozy. Megan was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and clearly puts a lot of care into the space. We’re already planning our next visit!

Dorothy's stay was perfect! It's such a cozy apartment and had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood is beautiful and it was easy to get to downtown Charleston (~15 min away) and other locations via Uber/Lyft. She was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I'd highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Charleston and can't say enough great things about this Airbnb! John was an amazing host—responsive, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond. The home was fabulous and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—close to all the best spots in Charleston, from dining and shopping to the historic sights. A huge bonus was being able to use their charger, which was so convenient. We highly recommend staying here and will absolutely keep this place in mind for our future Charleston visits!
