House vacation rentals in Lower Garden District, New Orleans

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

If you are ok with something close to everything, but not in the middle of anything, then rent this place. It is lovely, Deborah was lovely. It was comfortable, it was easy, it was great place to spend the weekend. To be clear we were not there to party and did not want to be in middle of the French quarter. So if you are, then maybe this is not the right place for you. But we were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go, and for us it was perfect.

Amazing stay - great house, good amenities, and walkable to so many great places.

Everything was exactly as described. Alleshia was very responsive to all inquires. We ended up being there during terrific downpours, so we spent cozy hours indoors. The neighborhood is interesting and some of the properties are undergoing a face lift.

We stayed with 3 other couples and loved the house. The home is beautiful, and the space was perfect for us to be together and have our own private spaces. The heated pool and backyard was great for unwinding. Centrally located for easy access to the quarter, garden district, and other great neighborhoods. Marcia was very responsive and helpful throughout. Loved our stay!

Excellent place for big group or family. Plenty of room. Anita brew house just down the street offers a nice place to relax with food trucks.

Probably the coolest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The sanctuary/pool was so well-equipped and we had such a great time relaxing at the end of sightseeing days. The inside was super cool as well, with tons of themed and thoughtful decorations. The Airbnb itself is very convenient to Magazine St, with tons of shops. Also very convenient to the stop for the hop on / off bus which we also used. We were nervous about not having a dedicated parking spot, but it ended up being totally fine with easy parking, and we were able to just park the car and forget about it, with cheap Ubers around $15 to get into the French quarter. Great stay all around !

From the moment we stepped inside, I knew we were in for a wonderful stay! The Porch House’s eclectic charm was so inviting and comfortable. The ability to create your own mood with lighting and music, walkable to neighborhood restaurants and the JAPOOLOZI!!! Perfection.

I stayed at Curtis’ place for the weekend of my daughter’s College graduation. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s even more beautiful and immaculate in person. Well kept grounds and the location was nice and quiet. Curtis is a top tier host. Responds immediately to queries and was super welcoming! My daughters wanted me to add that there’s plenty of mirrors to do your makeup in! Being that we were all females I appreciated the fact that there were motion censored lights around the property, with cameras. If I’m ever back in NOLA, or if I know anyone going I will definitely be looking to stay here again and recommending it to friends and family. My experience was seamless from check in to check out!

Ian’s place was perfect for my seven person group! The home was spacious, clean, and perfectly located for exploring the city by day and going out at night, with lots of great food and bars within walking distance. Ian gave us clear instructions for checking and out and was very responsive. We had zero complaints about the place or Ian—we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, perfect space. It’s well appointed and immaculately clean.

Marcelin’s place is beautiful and comfortable. It is close to Tulane University where we had a student graduating and is easily walkable to many places and also very accessible to have a car. It comfortably fit 10 of us and the convenience of having a great breakfast every morning was a definite plus! Marcelino was very responsive when I had questions. Beautiful and peaceful place in which we highly recommend!

This Airbnb and Isaac were fantastic! Great space to have a group of people and very nicely taken care of. If I could rate a 6/5 I would!! Caring people behind a beautiful home that’s great for a getaway, I can’t recommend this home more.

This place was absolutely beautiful! Just as described, plenty of space and very clean. Host was very quick to respond with any questions we had. It was a nice getaway away from the hustle and bustle of everytging but close enough to get anywhere quickly! I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home and Nathalie is the perfect host. We had a fantastic stay in New Orleans and the Bywater is our favourite area. It’s quiet and peaceful but full of great bars and restaurants. It’s also walkable into the French Quarter. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable with a few special touches. We will definitely be booking again.

I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The host was also incredibly welcoming and responsive. Awesome clean space with multiple bathrooms and 5 beds. A short walk from many locations. Worked great for my family's stay. Definitely recommend!

I was in town for a family event, and staying here was a great experience. the inside was really nice! It was a 10 min drive from the superdome, and the neighborhood was quiet. I would stay here again when in town.

Very nice house that was in a perfect location. Just off Magazine Street but without the noise and cars that are sometimes in other areas of Garden District. I would definitely stay there again!

Made the stay very easy and it was in a great location near the airport but also close to good restaurants and not too far from downtown. Loved the big loving room for lots of people to hangout. The host was responsive to our questions as well.

Maxine’s Place was perfect for our group of friend’s gathering. Easy to access public transit into tourist areas for food and music and ride share to airport. Beautiful shady street. And lots of nearby sidewalks for jogging. Old home with lots of character and charm. We loved it and also getting to meet Maxine who was gracious and welcoming.

Great overnight stay for a dance competition at the convention center. We basically only slept and showered there but all as clean and comfortable. I did wish check in had been available a little earlier but we worked around it.
