Porch Swing, streetcar, big backyard, Oh my!

SherylRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved this house. It was very clean, comfortable, safe, and well-appointed. I appreciated the little things, like coffee mugs, bath mats, plenty of towels and washcloths, comfy seating areas, and extra TP. The location was awesome - close to everything we wanted to do. The neighborhood was quiet, close to a cute coffee shop, with easy parking at all times. We would 100% come back to stay. Thank you!!

Modern Home | Heated Pool and Hot Tub

ErinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved this stunning, modern home in the Garden District! The location was great—next to the original French Truck Coffee, across from a lively bar, and walking distance to great restaurants and the WWII Museum. The home was spotless and beautifully designed with luxurious touches, comfy seating, and a huge kitchen. The outdoor patio was a highlight—with a grill, fan, pool, and hot tub. Note: there are only 4 chairs/loungers outside and a picnic table (“outdoor dining”) tucked into a cramped space. We loved that the dining room’s wall of doors opened to the pool! Also, the sky is photoshopped in the pool photos; the home is next to another house and business, though foliage blocks most of the view. There’s a single-car driveway, but it’s very tight. Street parking is limited—spots out front were often taken, so may have to park next door. Communication with the host was excellent, quick to resolve hot tub issues. This was by far our favorite Airbnb, we hated to leave!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home in New Orleans! The house was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group of eight. There was more than enough room for everyone to relax, play games, and enjoy our time together without ever feeling cramped. The moment you walk in, the home takes your breath away—it’s absolutely stunning. Our host was fantastic—super easy to communicate with and provided tons of helpful tips and information before we even arrived. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in NOLA!

Smitti’s home is clean, comfortable and inviting. It is close to the French Quarter, NOMA, and the Besthoff Sculpture Gardens-beautiful!! Easy to Lyft everywhere. Secure property, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our down time listening to his record collection and the kitchen was ready for some meals to be cooked there. Great gas station kitchen at the Triangle and across the street too! We would definitely book again with Smitti😃

Artist residency in the Bywater on a budget

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Read the description thoroughly before renting this place! It is exactly as described. And from reading some of the negative reviews, I get the sense that people were expecting things that were never promised. This is a budget stay. So, if you’re like me and just want the bare bones, this is a good option. It’s also in a great area of New Orleans if you’re looking for an authentic (non-touristy) experience. It is tastefully decorated, and you’ll have everything you need. Jon is a responsive host who’s willing to help you if you need it. I’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Bywater Shotgun w/ Bikes!

RusselRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I’ve read a lot of these reviews and it feels like people are often sleuthing for some tiny flaw to cry about. But me, I was so happy with my stay. Zero complaints. Gorgeous shotgun apt (huge btw- far more space than I needed!), great yard to sit and drink coffee in, tons of amenities (the bikes are a great touch though I didn’t use them- would totally have done so with more time in the city). Walked to the levee with my pup, went to the Joint, hung out at Bud Rips. Perfect Bywater day. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.
A traditional shotgun home exterior is displayed, featuring vibrant pink siding and white trim. A brick walkway leads to the entrance, flanked by low greenery. A covered front porch with black iron railings adds character, while steps ascend to the entryway.

2 BD Uptown off Magazine St w pool & patio

StefanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jimmy’s place was a perfect ending for a few relaxing days in Uptown after a long Gulf Coast Road trip. A very friendly host and a perfect place for a family to stay: quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, a nice cafe and restaurants nearby, walking distance to Audubon Park and the St Charles streetcar. The fettuccine recipe was a great touch as well. We already miss this little gem in Uptown and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thanks Jimmy for making us feel right at home. Geaux Tigers!

Jean Lafitte Harbor (Cabin #3)

LupiRating, 5 stars18 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay in Jean Lafitte. The surrounding area felt very safe and secure. We could not get over the beautiful surroundings. My kids had a blast fishing and learning how to use a casting net. Julie was the icing on the cake for this trip. We had a bad storm while we were staying there and she checked on us to make sure we were ok. She made sure we had everything we needed and she even blessed our daughter with a Christmas present. We would love to stay here again!

Poolside Cabin near New Orleans (Cabin 6)

CandaceRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We loved everything about our cabin. The place was spotless & the beds were very comfortable, the area was peaceful. We enjoyed walking around the property and having coffee on our inclosed porch. Even noticed a fireplace area, and a covered area with picnic tables, grills and even a vending machine, great for family gatherings. Located 20 mins outside of downtown New Orleans, Fatimah gave us a great tip, to take the $2 ferry boat over to downtown. even reached out to see if we needed anything else. Coming from Michigan in the winter to a heated pool is always a plus. I will definitely be back.
