Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Dunlap

The aparment was perfect in every way that we hoped for. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, ready to use kitchen and so much more. If we ever go back to San Antonio we will definitely book again!

Brandy was by far the most accommodating host we have had on Airbnb. We were welcomed with a basket of candies and Dunkin coffee. not anything extravagant, but a very nice gesture that set the mood of our visit in a positive way. anything you need is there from seasonings, appliances, dishes, pans, utensils, extra towels, tubes for the river. everything you'd and many you won't need, but someone staying in the future will. Any communication with Brandy was given an immediate response. We love The Water Wheel resort, but Brandy's hospitality brought this trip to a new level. Thanks Brandy

Gina's place is fantastic. Spacious for 2 people. Excellent location on the riverwalk. We would definitely stay there again.

Was exactly as described! Beautiful place and in a great location too. The owner was very quick with responding when I had a question.

The space was clean and simple with access to the river walk. It was exactly as described. I also loved the fact that even though it was storming and the parking was separate from the building we never got wet as the set up allows you to navigate both without going outside. The host was very aware and prompt on his response time. I would do it again!

Our stay at Michael’s apartment was FANTASTIC! The building is very secure, VERY clean, VERY well stocked! This apartment is very modern but not over the top. The furniture is all very comfortable and my wife and I loved everything! We will stay here again when we come to San Antonio to visit family in the future! Michael is a great host, he responds to questions really quickly and was always very helpful and polite!

I appreciated the aerial picture in the description showing the property lines. It was as secluded as the satellite images showed with no unexpected neighbors (sometimes challenging sleuthing that from carefully angled pictures on listings). The river access was a blast with river rock bank the kids threw rocks from for hours. Appreciated the rock road leading most of the way to the river access which made it possible for a truck to haul the canoes or other toys used by the river. We were focused on disconnecting and being outdoors in a quiet location therefore don’t have much to say about the house other than it served its purpose with AC, pool, bathroom and beds. We didn’t try to connect to the wifi so no feedback there. Great for a small family doing what we did exploring things like the swing and secret path (if you know you know). Thanks for sharing use of the property. Lots of memories no complaints.

We had an amazing family friendly vacation at Streamside Retreat. The home was spotless, very well organized, and everything was clearly labeled, which made settling in easy. Despite the 100+ degree weather, all the rooms stayed perfectly cool and comfortable. Our 5-year-old had an absolute blast in the playroom and especially loved the doggie door! The kids had so much fun swimming and kayaking in the river, roasting marshmallows, and even catching a few fish. It was such a peaceful, memorable stay. Denise was incredibly prompt and helpful throughout. We will absolutely be repeat customers. Highly recommend!

The place was extremely clean and the location was great. We used the patio area , the bbq pit, the jacuzzi and we also watched movies at night and the internet was working great. We had an amazing time and we had everything we needed we even got an extra day and we didn’t have any issues Melinda was a great helper and she answered very quick. We will definitely wish to go again any time soon :)

House was a good choice for our large group of people! River front was quiet and peaceful with lots of outdoor space to relax. Location was convenient to downtown New Braunfels, but far enough out of the hustle and bustle. Would recommend and would stay again! Chad and Gaby were great hosts!

Great price for a great stay. The river was low but that had nothing to do with the airbnb. The linens and comforters did have a few stains but given they are white I am sure they were cleaned and the stains just didnt come out. Love how close it was to the town and it was a beautiful place to stay with family. I would stay again in a heartbeat

The condos were perfect for our weekend in New Braunfels! Very easy to get in and out of town — walking distance to Gruene Hall, The Gristmill, and more! Mark was very communicative and quick to respond, and the place was exactly as listed. Would definitely stay here again!

Diana’s place was awesome. I was happily surprised there were spare batteries in the drawer when the batteries in the tv remote died. Diana went above and beyond with cute art, candles, lots of blankets, and a great Keurig.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful location for a few nights, and we were thoroughly delighted. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, and the overall comfort of the property was exceptional. Each room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a truly welcoming atmosphere. We really loved our unit, 212B. It had a direct view of the water and pool, easy to access and a walkable location to city center.

We had an absolute amazing time at this condo. Close walking distance to the downtown shops and restraunts in Gruene. Great vibe! The condo was very clean and had all we needed to use for the 3 days. A short walk to the river to see it. We would book here again!
