Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kentucky

Had a nice stay in this old farm house. We were in town for a graduation party so did not spend a lot of time in the home but it met our needs.

Great location as we planned to visit the Ark the next day as we passed through. Was easier than a motel for a group of 9.

Anita’s place is exactly what we needed. It was clean & comfortable! The fenced yard was a perk for my dogs! Thank you. It’ll be awhile before we’re back in town. But I will definitely reach out if we need a place to stay!

Tyler's place was just as described. The furnishings were comfortable, the deck and pool were great places to chill, and the fenced back yard was perfect for us as a old couple traveling with a young dog. (Our dog REALLY enjoyed the freedom to wander and run in the back yard.) Neighborhood is peaceful and a very short drive to some restaurants and stores in Independence.

Second stay , and it was just as great as the first ! Will be back!

Very comfortable house with plenty of room for family to visit and eat together. Good central location. Owners moved us to this house after one of their other properties (which we had rented) suffered significant storm damage--very accommodating. They even allowed a later checkout to give us some flexibility on Easter Sunday.

This cute little house was great for my family of four (two kids 7, 9) while spending a few days in Louisville, at the Ark Encounter, and Mammoth Cave. It was centrally located for where we needed to go and was a convenient location to access the highway. The park nearby was great for the kids. Check-in was easy and smooth and Josh was proactive in reaching out to inform us of something on the screen door that had been broken by previous guests. He had it repaired promptly. The house is comfy and clean, but the bathroom is a little small, so if that's not a big deal, it would make a great place for families to land for a few nights! If in Louisville again, we'd consider staying here!

Natalie's place was a standout. Beautifully updated and with great bed and furniture. Mature neighborhood was very safe and walkable. Natalie clearly cares about her guest's experince. Thank Natalie for a great place to call home while in lexington!

With Airbnb properties like Carlisla/Angie's space in Owensboro, it's no wonder we stay at hotels less and less these days. This Airbnb occupies the entire first floor within a well-maintained historical(?) larger house that is about 100 years old, but very cute and quaint. Crystal clean inside, and very responsive hosts! You can't go wrong here!

We loved our stay at this charming apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable, there was plenty of space for the 2 of us, the off-street parking was convenient, and we were close to so many great places to eat. Our favorite spot was the shaded front porch, with comfortable chairs for reading and enjoying the spring weather. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is the perfect place to stay in Paducah. It’s so convenient to everything and parking is easy too. Wonderful sky lights make the rooms glow. Host super supportive and responsive. All in all a great pick!

Absolutely perfect location and space for us to explore The Bourbon Trail with stops at Buffalo Trace every morning!

Lisa's place is absolutely lovely. A huge double-sized room with a big, comfortable bed, sitting area, dining area, great windows and kitchenette made it so much more than a hotel room. The place is charming with great decor from the record store downstairs. The restaurants in the neighborhood were fabulous, we walked to dinner and brunch. Lisa communicated everything we needed, and was extremely helpful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Great location! Super quick walk to Rupp arena and lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Seemed to be a very safe area, we did lots of walking and no concerns. Perfect place to stay for a quick trip to Lex.

The property was very nice, and very clean which we really appreciated. We enjoyed the older feel of the place, and the beds were comfortable. During our stay, we attended a Cincinnati baseball game and the walk from the property to the ballfield was not at all difficult ‐ maybe 20-30 minutes. Any advise to future stays is that if you have anything that needs plugged in, do be sure to pack an 2 to 3 prong adapter. Definitely will consider this place again for future visits.

We had an amazing stay at Matt's condo—it was cozy, well-stocked, and instantly felt like home. The guidebook provided was incredibly detailed and helpful, offering clear instructions and great local recommendations. The location is ideal, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and breweries, and just a short drive to downtown or Churchill Downs. The condo itself is super comfortable with plenty of in-house entertainment options including video and board games, streaming services, disco lights, and fast Wi-Fi. Matt was an exceptional host—attentive, communicative from the start, and very accommodating. This place truly deserves five stars, and I’d happily stay here again on my next visit!

Ellas place was relaxing and perfect for my stay! I was able to prepare meals when I wanted and when I didnt there was plenty of tasty choices within walking distance or a short drive! Very clean and comfortable! I would definitely come back when in Paducha:)

Stayed in this terrific 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for two nights while my wife and I visited nearby relatives. Excellent location; easy check-in and great communication. Strongly recommend! We will definitely be a repeat customers!

This is the place to stay when visiting Paducah, KY! Condo is located in the middle of their downtown district. Walkable to numerous restaurants and the riverfront. Condo itself was spotless and you can tell the host took the time to think of all possible luxurious amenities for the place. Felt safe and easy to check in.
