House vacation rentals in Kalkaska County

Perfect for families. Has lots of toys, an arcade, bunk beds and house is multilevel. Kitchen is tight for multiple cooks but has very nice appliances. Nice washer / Dryer. Big rooms and closets. Plenty of towels and has beach towels for use at clubhouse pool. Enough parking for our four pickups. Wish we could have used fire pit, looked nice with firewood to use. We enjoyed our stay. Great place to stay. House was great and it’s in a great area

Perfect spot! Our family rents an Airbnb every winter for the past 10 years, hands down the best one we have stayed at. Plenty of room and plenty to do. Everything was well stocked.

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable with all the amenities, and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Our host Marc was very welcoming. We would happily stay here again if our group size and timing work out!

We had such an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, cozy and perfect for our group with young kids. Clare provided toys for the kids and the house was perfectly prepared for youngsters. There was nearly 2 feet of snow during our visit so the access to the indoor pool at the resort was a huge bonus! The beds were comfortable and spacious and the extra amenities for the baby was a huge help. Our families had a weekend to remember.

Our group really enjoyed this winter retreat! It was the perfect size for 3 couples and 3 teens. Very convenient location to Schuss for skiing and local restaurants (Short’s!). We will for sure stay again for another ski trip! Thanks Chelsea!

Thank you Kristi for allowing us to stay at your home! We had a great time and loved everthing about Gaylord. We spent Christmas here with the family and have to say it really was a white christmas! The home was perfect for the family and had eveything we needed to feel like if we were at home. Once again thank you we will be back soon!

It's a great place for a short weekend with a large group. We booked Dan's place at the last minute and it had just enough space for our large family. Plenty of beds allowed everyone to sleep comfortably and have their own space. Dan provided a list of great recommendations nearby and we utilized the private access beach and nearby pool which were both spectacular. Dan was also very responsive and great to book with. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: This place isn't the most baby-proof, if traveling with little ones bring a few baby gates and a travel playpen. Aside from that it's a great place for everyone!

This was probably my favorite vacation rental of any that I have used. The house was huge with plenty of room for everyone. Well-stocked kitchen. The pond and the forest made everything magical. Theresa was a wonderful friendly conscientious host. If you're coming to the Traverse City area, this is the place to stay. We also visited Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs.

What a cute little house! We came to see torch lake and stayed here with some friends and our kids. What a beautiful place to come back to and relax after a day on the lake! The place was very clean! If we could give 10 stars we would!!

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Farmhouse while hunting in the area. They provided us with everything we needed plus extra food and pop and water . Also had a fresh Cherry Pie for us . We enjoyed our stay again this year .

This was the first time we used Airbnb for a family get together. We had a family reunion in Traverse City close by. This worked out great for us to have my son and his family staying together instead of getting a hotel rooms in Traverse City. I would recommend a place very clean lots of room worked out great for our situation. A very good communication with Kim The Host! I will recommend a couple of things for Kim but we'll be on a personal basis. Great place to stay thank you!
