Cabin vacation rentals in Kalkaska County

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Up North was a great place for our family of 5 to stay. It was close to skiing at Schuss Mountain and not too far from other ski resorts. Plenty of room for all of us. House was clean, which I always appreciate! Host was very responsive and answered all our questions. A hot tub on the deck would be the perfect addition to this great cabin:). We would stay here again!

We spent Christmas here and it was exactly what we were looking for. The kiddo got a white Christmas! We also did extreme tubbing which wasnt too far. Kitchen was well equipped and neighborhood was peaceful. Very walkable for our dogs.

Excellent stay—owner very quick to respond. Close to the ski resort. Loved the fireplace. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time! Loved that they had a Christmas tree on, I was a bit sad to leave our tree during the holiday, but Stephanie’s house was beautifully decorated! The house was perfect for our family of four. Could probably fit another small child comfortably as well. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, the fenced in yard was perfect. We would definitely look into renting this house again. Great restaurants that are not too far of a drive. We did not use the grill, but it was a nice amenity to have if you were wanting to eat your meals in the house. Thanks again, Stephanie, have a wonderful new year!!

This cabin was so wonderful. It was a great place to relax. We went to the community center one morning and to Avalanche Bay the next afternoon. My two young kids also loved the cabin. It had everything we could have asked for!

A great weekend getaway for my fiancés birthday! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We truly enjoyed the location as we live in the city and the silence was so peaceful. Lots of amenities in cabin and updated appliances! Now for you guest, please stop using metal utensils in pots/pans whether at home or here! This cabin was very cozy and charming. Great access to all that the Gaylord area has to offer. It was about as nice to spend time exploring the area as it was cozying up in the winter in the cute, comfortable living space.

Monica's cabin was perfect for the two of us for a weekend getaway. The cabin is updated, very clean, and has beautiful outdoor views with plenty of wildlife. Monica was very easy to communicate with and checked that everything met our expectations throughout the weekend. The goodie basket was an additional nice touch. Five stars!

Such a great stay with this host! The space was perfect for what I was looking for. It’s not what you’d need for a group, but if you are traveling solo or with your +1, this place will check all the boxes.

Craig's cabin was just as described! Such a beautiful property! The cabin was so cozy with a large kitchen and plenty of places to eat, sit, and sleep. The acreage is just stunning. We were there in January with a couple of feet of snow on the ground, we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to walk with the dogs. We walked multiple times a day and then came back to a fire in the woodstove. If you're looking for a relaxing time away from it all, this is it! Craig was over the top helpful and responsive. We would love to come back.

We have stayed here multiple times in the winter season and love it. So cozy and has everything you need for a great stay. Alyssa is always so fast at responding and is a wonderful host every time! We love her cabin due to the size and location, it’s perfect for us.

Serenely beautiful setting. Comfortable bed. Immaculately clean. But the best part is that the whole place is like time traveling back to my childhood. It's like visiting every friend of my grandparents in the 1970s. Every detail is intact and in perfect condition. We were in awe. My husband said he can't wait to come back and spend more time on the river.

The Loon cabin was definitly on the higher end of our stays at cabins. it was so clean and felt new. We felt at home. Also, close to all sorts of outdoor activities. This cabin will be on my short list of cabins to return to.

Vivian’s cabin had everything we needed! It was wonderful to spend time in this cabin in the fall. The trees were absolutely beautiful!
