Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

The house was as described. Beautiful fenced in back yard for dogs to run around. Beautiful view of sunrise over tge water. Nice private beach with dock. Very open layout. We were there with 5 adults and three dogs. When we come back to Traverse City this would be the place I'd stat.

Monica's cabin was perfect for the two of us for a weekend getaway. The cabin is updated, very clean, and has beautiful outdoor views with plenty of wildlife. Monica was very easy to communicate with and checked that everything met our expectations throughout the weekend. The goodie basket was an additional nice touch. Five stars!

Jeff's house was the perfect home away from home for our family to experience our very first white Christmas. Thank you, Jeff! The house was absolutely perfect—beautiful, with stunning views and located just minutes from iconic spots. We went snow tubing at Tumbelee and took a short drive to the coziest little town, full of charming stores, delicious restaurants, and more. The town's Christmas tree was the cherry on top of an already magical experience. The entire trip felt like a fairytale. If you're considering visiting, don’t hesitate—this amazing town and Jeff’s wonderful home are a must. We can’t wait to return. Thank you again, and Happy New Year!

It felt like the foundation was failing… floor was uneven.. bedroom door shut on it’s own…going in the bathroom felt like you were walking downhill…Drywall was put up without taping the seams or plastering over the nails…poor remodel work.

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Angela and Jason were just terrific Hosts! They were very responsive and easy going! Our stay felt more like a grounding retreat! The amenities and shared spaces were perfect for small groups. My favorite spot was the wooden swing at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand and my warm throw. That view is just so beautiful!! It was exactly what the kids and i needed after a crazy week of going back to school! My boys loved kayaking. They packed their fishing gear and set off first thing in the am. We loved the pontoon as well! It was nice to take out the whole family on it as the kiddos enjoyed the tube! We docked at the sand bar and the kids got to swim in 2feet of pristine water! After soaking up the sun, we came in to bbq off the deck and later enjoyed s'mores around the bonfire. We were mesmerized by the stars in the sky! There were so many of them! I could get used to Waking up in the morning to a view like that! We will definitely be visiting again!

Loved staying at Ian and Sheila's! The views, the pool, the lake, the lodging, the peace - was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Easy to get to downtown Traverse and amazing location to even just hang at the house. Thanks again!

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

This house was a beautiful winter wonderland for our family of five. We enjoyed Boyne Mountain skiing, local food places and the Shanty Creek resort pool and hot tub. Becca was incredibly responsive and helpful on our questions. Would love to come back in the summer, looks like even more to do!

I booked this for my birthday trip and it was a fantastic stay! Traverse city is a wonderful choice for people looking to enjoy themselves whether it be to spend time with family, solo or with a significant other. This clean and refreshing space with a beautiful view only added to the experience. With the beach out back it was tempting to stay in and enjoy the space but with the shop and restaurants just a block away the options were unlimited. Not only was the stay great but so were the hosts. They were accommodating, kind and quick with all of their responses.

We couldn’t have asked for a better fall weekend up north. The colors were fabulous and the lake was gorgeous. Ben and Alessia’s cottage is wonderful and has a prime location on the lake. They had all amenities that we could ask for in the cottage. All the beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. The fire pit outside was great to have a bonfire too. Everything was so nice and clean and there was easy access to whatever we needed. We had no complaints about anything and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation up north!

We had a wonderful stay with our dog and two young kids. Beautiful location, full of amenities, and very comfortable. Shawn was very responsive, helpful, and had great recommendations. Highly recommend!

The house was very well furnished, yard was perfect for a nightly bonfire with friends and family. Close enough to town where you could easily get groceries, fuel, or simple go out to eat with no worry about it being a long drive. The house was located perfectly around multiple trailheads for ORV riding (within 20 mins). The only thing that I can say that was a downside to the rental was the amount of kitchenware. For a cabin that sleeps 10, there were limited plates, bowls, mixing bowls, and utensils.

The place was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The group was definitely interested in staying there again next year!

The cottage was the perfect location for my getaway weekend with friends! Not only was it serene and quiet, it was picturesque. The location is just outside of Traverse City for those looking to travel there. Inside was cozy and welcoming. The space itself is curated for connection with the big screen movie projector, game room, multiple board games and fully functional kitchen; not to mention it's right on the water with an outdoor shower. The space needed to be warmed with a few space heaters, but there were more than enough to keep us toasty through the chilly evenings. I would gladly come back to the cottage!

We loved our stay for the 10 days. The private beach was great and the water was crystal clear! The house was clean and nice. Great location for riding the trails too! Would definitely recommend!
