Location was beautiful! Home was wonderful! Everything as described - would go back in a second!

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

Found the place to be as described and welcoming. Had what we needed, easy instructions and plenty of space. We would happily stay there again.

Jason’s house was absolutely beautiful. Literally feet off the lake. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Super easy and fast communication and helpful with answers. The place is clean and has just about all you need. If you plan on snowmobiling, something to note is the home is about 1 1/2 miles off the trail so you will need to ride the highway and the plows leave very little to no snow on the emergency lanes. But we absolutely loved our stay.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and fresh. The view is amazing and the property is so private. We loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our pup loved running around and going out on the dock. The location was just what we wanted, centrally located between the bike trails in Boulder Junction and Lac Du Flambeau, and the convenience of Woodruff and Minocqua where there are many good restaurants and Dan's Minocqua Fudge where they make their own excellent ice cream and candy. We also took a nice walk on the Bearskin State Trail out of Minocqua. I highly recommend Christine's place and we will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful quiet retreat for us as we explored the Porkies. Donald was kind and gave us information on the local spots to go. They were very welcoming to our pet and considerate in putting their dogs out while we were inside or away. The house has a beautiful yard which connects directly to Lake Superior and a lovely beach. There were a lot of flies on the beach, to be expected for this time of year (mid-May) so not at all a problem but just as a heads up for any future vacationers! All in all would recommend to anybody looking for a quiet beautiful place to stay near many Porkies attractions!

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

Jon was quick to respond and kind! Even though using his bikes were out of season, he was still willing to make an exception for us which was super thoughtful! This place was super homey and Jon gave a great list of recommendations! Definitely coming back!

Beautiful place and location. We loved the cabin’s kitschy personality. Yes the stairs are steep but we were anticipating that based on other reviews. It worked out fine for us. We had small dogs with us that were carried up and down the stairs when went to bed in the evening. Couple small things would have made the stay a little more comfortable. A few board games for rainy days. A couple basic cooking items like oil, sugar and garlic powder. The pillows are pretty beat up and could use replacing. All of these things are pretty easily overlooked though for the location alone. Woodsy and magical and so close to Big Bay Town Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully crafted cabin.

This place was wonderful, lots of room, very peaceful area, beautiful view of the lake. Beds comfortable, electric fireplace romantic. Furniture comfortable, loved the screened in sun porch. Kitchen could have used a steak knife set and a bigger bowl to make a salad in, I did not find any. Just soup/cereal bowls. Close to fantastic bike trails. The grill on porch was nice and easy to use. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Beautiful place in a secluded area on Moose Lake. We were there in winter and it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice newer-built lake cabin. All the basic necessities, including internet. Small, simple kitchen (no dishwasher). No laundry. Internet. TV. Nice wood-burning fireplace! Comfortable for one or two couples and two small kids with its three sleeping areas. Would rent again.

I had a wonderful stay at Cindy's property. There was a late snow storm and the house was always comfy and warm. The house was exactly like the photos, very clean and had everything I could have needed. Cindy was a spectacular host. She was always very quick to respond and gave me helpful and clear instructions when needed. Thank you Cindy! I will definitely look you up if I am ever in the area again!

We loved Blayne's place! It was clean, quiet, cozy, with a great view, and just a few blocks from the downtown shops, restaurants, cruise terminal and ferry terminal. It was everything we wanted in a BnB for a getaway in Bayfield and we would definitely stay here again!

We had a blast! Ski weekend for a family of three. Could not be closer to Big Powerhorn so the location was perfect. We really appreciated the wood burning fireplace (wood provided!), dog-friendly vibe and the game room downstairs. The sauna was also perfect after a day on the slopes. We'll be back!

Great stay for 4 brothers. Indoor shuffle board and darts were nice to have for rainy days. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit gave us what we needed. The place was clean and well taken care of. It was fairly private, but not nearly what the description implied ("13 acre lot with no neighbors in sight"), because there definitely was another property very close to one side of this one. The host was proactive with instruction and we had no real issues, so we didn't have to communicate really. We'd recommend The Lost Dutchman and stay here again, but we pick a new spot every year!

Very cozy house in a beautiful setting. Location is great halfway between Bayfield and Cornucopia

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.
