Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ironwood Township

We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable, we watched a DVD she had, there were lots of interesting books, we could walk to downtown, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals there. We felt right at home!

Great place. Loved all the antiques. Brought back a ton of memories from childhood with all the antiques. Definitely a hidden gem!! Highly recommend. Great restaurants nearby.

Jason’s house was absolutely beautiful. Literally feet off the lake. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Super easy and fast communication and helpful with answers. The place is clean and has just about all you need. If you plan on snowmobiling, something to note is the home is about 1 1/2 miles off the trail so you will need to ride the highway and the plows leave very little to no snow on the emergency lanes. But we absolutely loved our stay.

Great spot near the snowmobile trails. Jim was extremely accommodating of my family during our trip. We had a great time staying here and will definitely be back!

My group has been cross-country skiing at ABR for more than 20 years. We like to rent a house on the trails. This was our first time at Saari House. The second week in March was late in the season for skiing, but we skied in the mornings and snowshoed in the afternoons. Being right off the Blueberry Bluffs trails was nice. The house is charming, with lots of natural light. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room table that seats 6. There is just one bathroom but that was fine for our group of four women. One bedroom is on the main floor, off the cozy living room. The second floor has the second bedroom, plus an extra room with a pull-out couch. It was nice to have plenty of large towels, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom. There is a small wooden deck around the front of the house. You enter through a mud room with plenty of room to store your boots and hang clothes. We look forward to a visit here next winter!

We stayed in Ashland for an ice fishing tourney. Very clean, cozy and comfortable beds! It would be nice to have one more restroom.

We loved our stay at Sandra’s place. It is even so much cuter and cozier in person! We were so comfortable and felt at home. It had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We hiked and explored during the days and relaxed at night. The sunsets. at the beach just down the street were amazing. The general store down the street is adorable, I would highly recommend. Sandra’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We are looking forward to a return in the future!

This is my second time staying at Chris' Air BnB. We had another great stay! My son pointed out how clean the place was. It is well stocked--the beds comfortable, and WI-FI is solid. The apartment is conveniently located 20 minutes from the porkies, 1 hour from Ironwood, and 50 minutes from Houghton. Ontonagon is an idyllic/sleepy village. Make sure you have breakfast at Syls and coffee at Connie's :). I plan on making Chris' place a yearly tradition.

Great place to stay if you are going to be doing activities in the area and everyone wants their own bedroom.

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

Viv greeted us in person the evening we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, used the charcoal grill each evening, and slept well on the very comfortable mattress.

Great place to stay! Everything is exactly how it looked in the pictures. Everything you’ll want to get to is within a 20 minute drive! Very helpful hosts!!

Paul’s place is very unique. It is an apartment in an old house which has been well preserved and taken care of. There is a beautiful view of Lake Superior from every room. Kathy has added sweet touches that make it homey, interesting and artistic. Kathy helped us with the heat and showed us how to access the cupola. You can see for miles. This apartment is accessed by steep stairs as is the rooftop view, so it is not for those with physical challenges. The kitchen is well stocked and is the heart of the apartment and we had a meal with friends. We loved our stay here!

Excellent condo beautiful surroundings great weather very good trip

We’re in love with Bayfield! We have stayed at the Boatyard condos before. It was obvious that this condo was being renovated. Updated pictures or a mention would have been appreciated. We had no hot water initially, but a text to Erin immediately sent someone to solve that issue. The location is ideal including watching folks take a cold plunge on New Year’s Day! We’ll return soon.

This was our second stay here. The hosts are helpful and responsive. We were so comfortable and the place is so central. We love it!

This unit was everything we needed it to be while on a waterfall tour of northern Wisconsin for our 10th wedding anniversary! We appreciated the local art on the walls, the kitchen’s amenities and the comfortable queen sized bed. It was spotless when we got there and looked brand new, exactly like the photos.

This is a great place to stay. Set back in a quiet area, but walkable to all restaurants, shops, and the ferry dock. The place itself is very comfortable and cute. The Murphy bed is awesome, easy to use, and mattress is very comfortable. Great view of Superior from bed, I could read from there all day. Would definitely stay again!

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

The apartment was actually nicer in person than we had anticipated from the pictures. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of almost everything in LaPointe. The member of our group who had lived in New Orleans especially appreciated the Cajun seasoning left in the cupboard!

Jon was quick to respond and kind! Even though using his bikes were out of season, he was still willing to make an exception for us which was super thoughtful! This place was super homey and Jon gave a great list of recommendations! Definitely coming back!
