I've stayed in Calley's units many times before. She is a great host. Communicative and flexible. This unit is the best of the bunch. Updated with a great view of the slopes and lots of space.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

The house was exactly as described in a beautiful setting, right on the ski hill. Beautiful property. All amenities included as described except for soap and shampoo for the shower I recommend bringing your own. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with. We will definitely recommend and planning on making this an annual trip. There are a series of hikes and 5 waterfalls just down the road about 15 minutes. We had a great stay

I've stayed at Calley's places slopeside at Black River Basin a number of times. She is a great host - communicative, responsive and flexible. Her places are the best location for skiing in the area and have everything you need. See prior reviews for more info.

We came to the Upper Peninsula for fall colors. The location (at the base of a ski hill) was right on the route for one of the best color drives in the area and close to the Copper Peak ski jump that offers rides to the top to see the surrounding countryside. The charging station for our Tesla was super close at the main lodge. Eric's place was super clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked having the pinball machine for some extra fun.

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Really wonderful place. So beautifully curated. Just fun, and welcoming. Eric was great at communicating everything. It worked perfectly for our trip through the UP, close to the beautiful Porcupine Mtns and all things Western U.P.

The Lynx house is beautiful , comfy and seemingly private. Was very clean. John is helpful when we needed help. Close to town and trails.

We LOVED this cabin!! This cabin was perfect for the 3 nights, but we wish we stayed longer! The lake is beautiful, and perfect for bass and walleye fishing, and the row boat was more fun than we expected. Swimming is very refreshing, but watch out for the snapping turtle that hangs out around the dock (we named it Donatello). Very little to no light pollution, it was perfect for viewing the milky way and the northern lights. The owners checked in on us mid trip and loved hearing about how our trip had been so far. This truly was a unforgettable trip, and we can’t wait to come back again!

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Loved this spot for a cozy two-person getaway with our dog! Also our hosts were super proactive about winter weather and ensured the walkways and stairs were cleared regularly.

Very clean cabin with everything you need. Sauna and fire pit were great amenities. Kitchen had everything to make a meal with a big kitchen table. Pet friendly but didn’t see a single hair anywhere. Bathroom had all the necessities and more.

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

If you’re looking for an “all the comforts of home” location to explore all things western UP and upper Wisconsin, then Tim’s place is your location. The unit was authentic feeling and within the scenery and landscape. The lower unit was clean and well appointed. The parking was easy as was locating any needs. The year round hot tub was clean and relaxing and there were plenty of linens to accommodate your needs. Its proximity to the Porcupine Mountains, several area waterfalls, historical towns, and convenient roadways to radiate out made the location a perfect adventure spot for our vacation. Tim’s units all appeared to be equally appealing and I will return on my next adventure UP!

This was the second time our hunting group stayed here, and not the last. It is well located for where we hunt. The cabin is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for us to relax when we get back from the woods.

This was a great place for us to stay with our kids for a ski weekend. Alexis was very prompt and friendly answering any of my questions. We would stay here again.

Becky was great. We did have some trouble with internet and some other little things. Becky was willing to come fix it all right away. The game room was a hit with the kids and if we could have stayed longer the adults would have enjoyed it too. Over all very happy

Great place to stay for a ski trip. Right on the hill so makes breaks easy as they can possibly be.

Everything was ready when we got there. Good skiing considering the lack of snow for the year.

This was one of the nicest homes we have stayed in. The kitchen was a cook’s dream. Bathroom supplies were generously supplied. The furniture was comfortable. We really felt at home and welcomed here.

We love coming to the bunkhouse for our skiing adventures! It was the perfect place to get one last weekend in and end our season. we also got to enjoy the slush cup at black river basin!

Becky’s place was perfect. We went to Ironwood for our annual guys only UTV trip. Her place, while older, is very clean, accessible, and fit every need. The garage/rec room is perfect to hang out, play games or just relax. This place is perfect for an adult group, or for families. Becky was always responsive and very helpful. The place is a great value for the cost. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Becky!
