Apartment vacation rentals in Iron County

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

We enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable. The chair glide using the 23 or so steps was especially helpful to my handicap husband. Thank you.

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Great stay with our family for Christmas

Perfect location. Plenty of parking for our snowmobile trailer. We enjoyed being able to ride our sleds straight from the property to the trail. Convenient location to restaurants/entertainment. We had a little confusion figuring out what unit was ours but the host was helpful and responsive. My only complaint is the bed frames were more wobbly than we are used to. Otherwise our stay was wonderful. We would stay again!

This is a simple yet great place to stay! Parking is right next to the entrance and the parking area is well maintained/plowed when it snows.

We were in the area to visit the porcupine mountains and Joseph's basement apartment worked great. We were about 30 minutes from the western tip of the park. We packed a lunch and spent our days in the mountains. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for making meals along with various travel brochures for options of what to do in the area.

This was a great place to stay to ski at Big Powderhorn. it was a short drive to the main lot, which was convenient to get to the resort first thing.

Debra's condo was the perfect blend of updated amenities and the warmth and charm we sought in our lodging for our UP Ski weekend. Easy check-in, every kitchen item you'll need, and was VERY clean and cozy. You won't regret booking this unit. We'll be back!

The studio is exactly as listed and described. Good value, easy to communicate, nice having the restaurant downstairs (which I had a good meal at). It is right in town and super nice to be able to walk everywhere like restaurants, the brewery, parks, library, and bars. The bed is comfortable and the apartment has everything you need. The little “fireplace” heater was nice on a cool night. Pro tip: the shower faucet is backwards. As some others mentioned, there is an “off” smell in the hallway. It’s a very old, historic building and it seems the apartments are a mix of residents and air BnB guests. However, the apartment itself does not have any odor and is super clean and smells clean along with all of the towels, linens, etc. I would suggest 2 things: 1. a luggage rack or a hard surface like small dresser to put luggage and bags on. 2. An additional large, warm blanket. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Yan!

Good location for a quick weekend getaway

I accidentally left a ring behind in the washroom. I was contacted immediately, they even offered to mail it back to me. Excellent overall. Thank you!

Beautiful location. Super clean. Hot tube was wonderful after skiing. Grest location to drive to other attractions. Would absolutely stay there again

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.
