Vacation rentals with a kayak in Iron County

What a beautiful cabin on a secluded lake! I timed it perfectly to catch the magnificent foliage in full colour. Brian was incredibly helpful and proactive throughout my stay. Kayaking on the lake was a highlight, especially with a bald eagle soaring overhead for quite a while. The cabin itself was cosy and quick to warm up, making it the perfect retreat. Dawn’s muffins were excellent—highly recommended! Though my stay was brief, it was truly memorable. Thank you!

The cabin was a great spot on Echo Lake, we enjoyed nightly fires by the fire pit. The cabin was close to town and shopping. Restaurants were easily accessible and delivered to the cabin. It was nice to have paddle boards and kayaks available for our kids. The dock was nice and we caught sunnies and perch off the dock. Chris and Janice were extremely helpful and responsive. Great hosts!

Great spot on the lake, hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating but also very respectful of our privacy. Plenty of room in the cabin and everything worked properly. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple, using Kaylee's home as a base for touring to see the waterfalls and hiking amongst the beautiful fall colors. Kaylee's place worked great. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and there are 2 bathrooms, which is always handy for multiple people getting ready for the day's adventures. The outside temps took a dip while we were there but the furnace worked well. We appreciated the decor; it was a touch of home from our years. If we were in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

The cabin itself is wonderful. From having about every amenity, the details were superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and even had flannel sheets. Also, the option to buy homemade muffins that were delivered before our arrival was terrific. Do NOT pass on the muffins, they're delicious. Also, Brian was among the best in communicating back and forth (very proactive and responsive). Everything was clean, and you can tell that the customer has been thought of in everything they do. Had fine dining 20 minutes away (Smokey's) and a beautiful hike through the Copper State Park to see the Brownstone Falls. Highly recommend the Lily Pad, it was wonderful.

House was ready when we arrived early check in with no problems Tracy responded very quickly to any communication. Lock code to house was easy to use. The location was perfect for the weekend UTV riding

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

Beautiful property with great views. Host was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating with requests. Cabin is as cool as it looks in the pictures.

Derek was a great host. The cabin is clean, well-furnished, and modern. The kids felt right at home, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great. Wonderful view, quiet, and feels private (even though the neighbors aren’t too far away). Snow’s market in Mercer is close by, and has you covered for most of what you didn’t bring with you (pretty awesome beer selection for you snobs). Finally a quick anecdote about who you’re renting from: My 4 y/o daughter decided she needed to use the bathroom as we were sitting in the car ready to leave. We tried to re-enter the house after our code had expired, and understandably couldn’t get in. Derek called out of the blue and offered to help, which was super kind!
