Vacation rentals with lake access in Iron County

Great view from the Airbnb! Quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed during our stay.

We absolutely LOVED our time at Casa Maria. As soon as we got out of the car, you can smell the fresh lake air, feel the beautiful breeze and see the beautiful home. Casa Maria was the perfect home for our Family 4th of July Getaway! We’ve stayed in a lot of Air b n bs for family trips and this one is #1 on our list. This house is VERY spacious, lots of room, every bedroom having their own bathroom is a huge perk, cozy furnishings, AMAZING waterfront views, all of those beautiful windows- they really did think of everything. The history of Al Capone on the property was such a cool addition as well. The Loon island across the way was super cool to experience all their sounds in the early AM and sunset. Only feedback for the area is the public boat launch is not super boat friendly- we rented a pontoon for our stay and the landing was a bit tough to navigate. Outside of that, if you’re looking for a Northwoods Escape, this is the spot. We can’t wait to return!

Extremely nice and cozy for my pet and I

This was the second stay, and it was just as lovely as the first time, perhaps even more so than the first visit! There were some little appreciated changes: a dedicated device for music, another very happy plant, and wild turkeys mingling with the deer at the feeder. The aurora borealis came out to play with pinks and greens. A wolf made a cameo appearance in the greater neighborhood on one of the more traveled roads. There was the feeling of having traveled back to simpler times , but with all the modern conveniences. Our hosts were phenomenal with listening, and suggestions. One suggestion in particular, was quite a surprise. A mention was made about times past with the wooden shuffle boards, sawdust for sliding the puck, and happy hours playing. Our hosts found somewhere not so far that still had the game, and it was heartwarming to play again! All in all, it was a magical, relaxing stay. The experience will likely to lead to another.

My father and son stayed here on a 4 day fishing trip. Although it was more than i wanted to pay i have no complaints. Lake access was great! The house was very clean and had all the amenities that were needed. The driveway was a bit tricky but other than that it was a great stay!

Clean, comfortable, well appointed home. Quiet, peaceful location. We loved hearing the loons in the mornings!

Great find in Mercer! The location was great, outside of town, but not too far. Being right on the lake was beautiful. Very close to the trails. House was exactly as described and the pictures match. John was extremely proactive and thorough in his communication. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at Sarah’s cabin was very nice. Everything was clean and well kept. Beautiful view to the lake! The fire place was amazing on the windy and cold rainy weekend. Would recommend staying here and hosts were very accommodating to our stay!

Such a beautiful cabin with amazing views and is close to lots of fun outdoor activities. Everything was perfect for our family of 5. We wished we could have stayed longer, enjoyed the lake, and done some fishing, but we ran out of time. We would happily stay again! I would recommend it to anyone visiting Upper MI.

The cabin was a great spot on Echo Lake, we enjoyed nightly fires by the fire pit. The cabin was close to town and shopping. Restaurants were easily accessible and delivered to the cabin. It was nice to have paddle boards and kayaks available for our kids. The dock was nice and we caught sunnies and perch off the dock. Chris and Janice were extremely helpful and responsive. Great hosts!

Usually you get to a place and it’s not quite what the pictures show but this was just the opposite… it was better! It was so cozy and peaceful, and the amenities were OUTSTANDING! We loved the nice touches, like the wonderful decor and how there were towels on our beds, fans in every room, and books and games laid out for every area. We will be coming back!

Great Place, the grounds feel super private and it is beautiful! Also it is such a historic gem. Thanks for a great stay.
