Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Iron County

This place was amazing! I can’t say enough great things about it. It was perfect for our large group! Games for the kids, great sleeping accommodations, nice view, lots of space for conversations. Everything was in great shape, and very clean! Wonderful place to stay for waterfalls, hiking, and the Porcupine mountains!

This was a welcoming, comfortable airbnb for me and my kitten, Colby, who accompanied me because of his broken leg, necessitating him staying in a dog crate the entire stay. Because I had this broken kitten, I spent quite a bit of my stay in the house, and it had everything I needed. I especially liked the real wood floors and the comfortable bed. Large TVs in every room and many easily accessible places to charge electronics were greatly appreciated as well.

The place was so nice on the inside, super clean and lots of amenities! We were able to park 2 trucks and trailers in the driveway and leave right from the house in our side by sides. It was conveniently close to the side by side trails and town! Very clean and comfortable, I would definitely recommend and come back!

Loved the large wrap-around deck, the firepit, the dock and swim raft. Kitchen was fantastic! We are definitely coming back!

This is the second time our family has stayed at the Sasquatch Lodge. Just the perfect place for us to stay. Excellent private spaces and common spaces, we appreciated the excellent cleanliness and prompt responses to the few questions we had. We highly recommend the Sasquatch Lodge.

The place was easy to find thanks to the host’s clear instructions and was spotless when we arrived. The apartment was cute and perfectly centralized for our overnight stay while we drove around the UP and Northern Wisconsin for the weekend and was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this location if anyone is considering staying in the area!

very close to the sky field and several fall trails. The lodge has almost everything needed for a winter holiday. Especially, the Level-2 Charger is must to have for an EV owner in the winter day. the kids like the hot tub very much. Shawn gives very in time response, even on the Thanksgiving day.

The cabin itself is wonderful. From having about every amenity, the details were superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and even had flannel sheets. Also, the option to buy homemade muffins that were delivered before our arrival was terrific. Do NOT pass on the muffins, they're delicious. Also, Brian was among the best in communicating back and forth (very proactive and responsive). Everything was clean, and you can tell that the customer has been thought of in everything they do. Had fine dining 20 minutes away (Smokey's) and a beautiful hike through the Copper State Park to see the Brownstone Falls. Highly recommend the Lily Pad, it was wonderful.

Beautiful location. We enjoyed the remoteness and peacefulness. Great places to explore right nearby and the Porcupine Mountain State Park was just to the east of us. Everything thing looks close but it does take a bit to get to places. The beautiful scenery and views make up for the longer drives. I highly recommend staying at the Tuna Shack. Everything was as described in the listing. Very clean and well organized.

What a beautiful cabin on a secluded lake! I timed it perfectly to catch the magnificent foliage in full colour. Brian was incredibly helpful and proactive throughout my stay. Kayaking on the lake was a highlight, especially with a bald eagle soaring overhead for quite a while. The cabin itself was cosy and quick to warm up, making it the perfect retreat. Dawn’s muffins were excellent—highly recommended! Though my stay was brief, it was truly memorable. Thank you!

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the fall colors around the cabin were breathtaking!

The cabin and the amenities were great! It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. There was plenty of firewood and the immediate area was really great with little paths to walk, and a little overlook with two chairs and a gas firepit. You can see they've put a lot of work into it! If I had one complaint, it would be that there was quite a bit of road noise. It appears as though they have some young pines along the property line, so hopefully once those mature, it will help block more of that out. Overall though, really great property!

Derek was a great host. The cabin is clean, well-furnished, and modern. The kids felt right at home, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great. Wonderful view, quiet, and feels private (even though the neighbors aren’t too far away). Snow’s market in Mercer is close by, and has you covered for most of what you didn’t bring with you (pretty awesome beer selection for you snobs). Finally a quick anecdote about who you’re renting from: My 4 y/o daughter decided she needed to use the bathroom as we were sitting in the car ready to leave. We tried to re-enter the house after our code had expired, and understandably couldn’t get in. Derek called out of the blue and offered to help, which was super kind!
