Townhome vacation rentals in Fairfax County

Our family of four plus two grandmothers stayed for a college graduation weekend. Tara’s place is exactly as the photos and we felt right at home. It is on a busy street so we told Ubers to pick up at the back entrance. We felt there was very minimal traffic noise and slept very well in the EXTREMELY comfortable beds. Note it is a tri-level living situation so if there are mobility issues consider the stairs. That said, we had two grandmothers (in their 80s) and they were fine. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had all the essentials to make breakfast in the mornings. The location was good for us to sight see and also attend the graduation. I would highly recommend Tara’s home!

Outstanding townhouse and one we hope to return to. Two big bedrooms - both stylish. Lovely ground floor and kitchen and fun basement/rumpus room/man cave. Walked to king street, caught the metro to dc, short walk to two supermarkets and loads of nice close restaurants. Very friendly host. Nicely recently renovated. Too marks from me.

I stayed at this lovely Burleith townhome for a weekend in February with two friends for a Georgetown University event. It's a really terrific place. The downstairs is well-designed and comfortable, with a beautiful kitchen that we never actually touched (lots of eating out for the events). The upstairs has one primary bedroom and then two small bedroom with twin beds, all of which share one large bathroom that has as good a shower as I've ever used (seriously!). The home is just two blocks north of the north border of the university, and very convenient to campus. Lots of street parking available as well. The owners were great, lots of communication in advance and helpful when we had questions during the weekend. I would absolutely stay here again if I had another opportunity to come visit the campus. Totally recommended.

This townhouse was a great value for the price. Our stay was for over four months. it was adequately stocked with dishes, utensils, and linens. There is plenty of shopping in the area and fast food. My husband found it an easy commute to Fort Belvoir. We felt right at home and we would stay there again. Linda was a responsive host.

This was a very warm and welcoming home. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our host Sarah was very responsive and even reached out to ask if we were okay or needed anything. The beds were like a big hug at the end of a long day of shopping and the kitchen was amazing as I love to cook for my family. we would definitely stay again. Banks Family

We selected this home to have a convenient location to join local family for holiday celebrations. It worked out perfectly. 4 bdrms and 3 full baths gave us plenty of space. Great location inside the beltway. Really clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was perfect for our needs.

We had the pleasure of staying at Kaleab’s immaculate home while visiting the DMV area for the weekend! The home was very clean and equipped with quality amenities and furnishings that made our stay enjoyable, relaxing, and felt right at home. Check-In and Check-Out was seamless due to Kaleab’s clear instructions and we appreciated his thoughtfulness and flexibility with our arrival and departure times. The home has smart TVs on every level, vaulted ceilings, fireplace, garage parking, including onsite visitor’s parking with decal for larger vehicles just to name a few amenities. Kaleab’s home is stocked with all the essentials one would need while traveling. The beds were comfortable and the master suite was a treat with a state of the art bathroom and walk-in closet. The home is centrally located when visiting the DMV area being about 15 mins or less in either direction, which is very convenient. Kaleab is a great and responsive communicator. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

To say that this place and its host Ben exceeded expectations would be an understatement! It was a short weekend stay at Ben’s beautiful home but we felt so comfortable and at home that we could’ve stayed forever. Ben was attentive, he checked on myself and my friends from that time we got there until we left to return home- something that we were very appreciative of. If we do a quick weekend getaway to Alexandria again, Ben’s beautiful home will most definitely be our home away from home!

An absolutely beautiful home right off of the river! The AM/PM views are perfect with a coffee! Tinelle was fantastic at both making me feel at home and responding to any needs I had or questions I needed answered. Her home was cozy, very clean, and beautiful. Very modern and a ready to go kitchen for all of your cooking and coffee needs. I was here for three weeks for work and as much as I missed family and home and couldn’t have been more comfortable on the road. Go downstairs and enjoy the fire and some music! I stayed in the upstairs main and the bed is to die for. Modernized dimmer lighting all over the home helps set a relaxing atmosphere after long days. We made our way into DC which was only about a 30 or so minute drive. Plenty of eats and groceries close. The location is just gorgeous. Beautiful neighborhood with family’s and pets about everywhere. I will absolutely stay again when I go back for work and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an escape while away from home!

I had a great experience staying here! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was in a great location, and not for from D.C at all. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. I really appreciated their quick communication. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Nice place to stay and we stayed for a month without any issues. Comes with so many white and clean towels, we were very happy about choosing the place as our temporary home.

Italo’s home on the canal is just about perfect. The location itself would justify 5 stars - just off a charming footpath, yet within a block of some of Georgetown’s best restaurants and shopping. When you enter you encounter a modern, stylish, well-appointed home with all the amenities one might need - as well as a large backyard which even during the snowy weather gave the place a great sense of privacy and spaciousness. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed staying at Daniel’s place it was the perfect spot to stay for a couple of days! Cozy, right next to a wooded area with a trail, and a very quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. I also really enjoyed the firepit in the backyard!

Lots of space to spread out! Very clean. Convenient location. Close to cute downtown Occoquan with shops and restaurants, and also Potomac Mills shopping center. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We stayed here for 3 weeks while my husband worked in DC. It was magical and everything we wanted. She had it decorated for Christmas which was amazing. We will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

This house was great. The location was perfect. It's very close to 495, restaurants and other activities. Parking and getting into the house were a breeze. The house was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials. Gilbert was very responsive to messages before our arrival. Once we were there we didn't need anything from him but he did message to be sure that everything was going ok. Another plus is that there was not a laundry list of things to do before checkout. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat for any future visits.

My wife & I had a good experience at V’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of. I had minor difficulty finding the front door/garage (I should have listened to my wife). V responded to my call for assistance immediately. It was easy to find if I’d just paid attention. It was late at night, in a rental, after a long multi-plane trip journey. . The space was nicely decorated, spotless, and comfortable—truly a home away from home. Lots of home amenities, like well-organized extra linens, towels, and a well-equipped kitchen. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure an easy stay. . . V was an exceptional host, always ready to meet our needs.
