Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Fairfax County

Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay in Rick and John’s lovely home. From the moment we got into town they were so helpful and friendly- walked us through the house and showed us all of the rooms and amenities and introduced us to their sweet pups. The room we stayed in was so clean, cute and comfortable and they were very generous with sharing coffee, breakfast items, wine, drinks and snacks….we appreciated so much how hard they work to make their guests feel welcome. The neighborhood was just lovely, their yard (and many others) were filled with spring flowers and was walking distance from so many great restaurants and parks. So many personal touches…we woke to a sweet note inviting us to enjoy breakfast and another welcoming us to their home, and little Shelby and Scout were just so darn cute. A short drive brought us into the city and another to Mt Vernon…we had a lovely trip overall and hope to stay with them again next time we head to the DC area.

Phil's house was a home away from home. He was warm, friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable. We were able to walk to the AU campus and also enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms around. Phil's breakfast is legendary with cut fruits and a wide variety of options that he freshly prepares in front of you with great love. Would absolutely stay here again.

This is perhaps the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at. Rose was proactive in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The space is super clean and looks just as listed. It's also a very short walk to the closest metro station. Rose was thoughtful in the details which really stood out for us. For example, providing additional dishes and cutlery because she noticed we preferred to eat at home. She answered all our questions promptly and was always friendly. The terrace is the winning part of this space (even though it rained!) and the sleeping area is spotless and cozy. Rose is a wonderful host and I do hope we'll be able to stay there again sometime in the future if we ever find ourselves in D.C again!!

This stay was one of my favourite AirBnB experiences. The accomodation is lovely and gorgeous but the highlight was the people! It felt like visiting family - it was genuinely as if I was visiting my favourite uncle getting to share stories and opinions in a non judgemental space. Phil is himself a hidden DC gem! I would recommend this place if you are visiting Washington for any occasion. I will definitely be going back!

Lucia’s place was well worth cost. I Lucia in person the morning I was checking out. She greeted me with breakfast and coffee. Lucia has a very pleasant and peaceful soul. I will definitely book with Lucia again.
