Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Deer Isle

This was a great stay for our family of four and having four additional family members over for game night. We've already booked the place again!

The place was beautiful and convenient. The beds were comfortable, and the living room has great views. There was plenty of parking, and the kitchen is well stocked. 2 small cons: the master bath is pretty outdated, and the host was slow to respond re an issue with accessing Netflix on the tv (which we never figured out).

This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

We highly recommend staying at this home on your visit to the Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor area. This house was a perfect fit for our family, two hoomans and two German Shorthaired Pointers (Scout and Henry)! It was bright, cheery, and welcoming. We all felt at home.  There were many thoughtful features that allowed us to enjoy our vacation along with our dogs, including a secured back yard, back deck, and front porch.  The home was immaculately clean, tidy and so well organized that you could find anything you needed intuitively.  Mary Ann was an amazing host who provided suggestions on restaurants, hikes and dog-friendly sites, which were all spot on. This home is perfection, and Mary Ann is a tremendous resource. We would love to stay here again!

Extraordinary, very cute cottage. It had everything your heart desires, just like at home. The location is great for excursions to Acadia National Park and other destinations in Maine. At night you could see great stars. Jenny was a super host and sweetened our arrival with a few fruits and muffins. The directions were also good, with the house number you can also find the cottage with Google Maps. We would always like to stay again!

Lauren's place was perfect for our adventures at Acadia and in Bar Harbor. She thought of everything to make it very comfortable, and everything was as pictured. Having the fenced in yard was also super convenient for our two pups to just run them out when we weren't hiking.

We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse. It was the perfect fall getaway for our group. The home and brewery were cozy, rustic and ideal for a relaxing weekend with great beer. Dizzy the cat was a major highlight of our stay - he was so friendly and will sleep at the foot of your bed if you let him. Definitely would recommend checking out the Damariscotta area during your stay - the downtown was great for shopping and getting a quick meal before heading back to the privacy of the farmhouse. My wife and our friends are already planning a trip to come back next year - don’t miss this spot!

I cannot say enough about the beauty and solitude of this space. There was plenty of space to work with my yoga teacher, who lives in Rockland, and lovely to have a peaceful dinner with friend . I felt very safe being there on my own, home is very secure. The ability to easily walk in town and chat with the locals was wonderful. This is a home to really settle into and feel a part of the area. I so appreciate the opportunity to have been able to spend two weeks . Our family gathered at Rebecca's place for our holiday celebration. The home provided a fantastic array of things to do and spaces in which to gather together. We loved the swimming pool, the pool table, and puzzle-making! Great place for a gathering or celebration. Rebecca was incredibly timely with responses to any questions we had, and most accommodating with some last minute requests.

We used the Jarvis Homestead for our friends and family to stay the week of our micro wedding. This space was everything we needed it to be. It was very clean and well kept, has tons of space, and was a beautiful environment for a wedding reception afterward. It does have some quirks as it is an old home such as doors opening and closing well and light switches being finicky; however, we had no issues while we were there and would absolutely stay again.

The lawn cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 child and 1 medium sized dog). The cottage was very comfortable and has a stunning view. The larger property it's on was very dog friendly. The pool and hot tub in the hotel were very clean and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make full meals (Thanksgiving dinner!). Overall, this is an excellent place for a vacation, especially with a pet and a child.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

This lovely apartment directly overlooking the park in downtown Bar Harbor was the perfect place for our family. With grandparents, parents, two small children, and a chihuahua, we had room to spread out, sleep comfortably, walk to the beach and the park, shop, and eat wonderful food and ice cream. I would want others to know that the stairs up to the apartment are steep, a tiny bit tricky for the senior with bad knees and the toddlers with short legs. The apartment has a Smart TV, which wasn't really watchable for us. If they had cable it would have been just perfect! Overall, this place was in a dream location and afforded all of us a chance to relax and enjoy the gorgeous fall weekend in Maine.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Noah's home is a little slice of paradise on the coast of Maine. It's private, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. We found the home very clean and well-cared for. My husband, children, and I spent a week unwinding at Noah's home and only wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly loved the fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, and the kayaks. Beds were super comfortable. Views were gorgeous and location perfect jumping off point to explore nearby Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington. Highly recommend visiting during autumn. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

Such an amazing cottage! Me and my family went up to Maine for a long weekend and had a great time, where we were surrounded by nature and lovely views of the sea. We were able to use the outdoor grill for dinner and also the beautiful interior allowed us to have the most cozy autumn nights, especially with the fire going! Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay. It's about an hour drive from Acadia National Park. Location is very private with a nice outdoor patio area overlooking the water. Clean, spacious, easy parking, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. (the heated blanket was a bonus surprise) This was perfect as it was a bit chilly during our visit. Loved the shed out back as additional sleeping space. We would have used this if it was a bit warmer. Lots of games that the host provided and also some maps which were useful. We had a perfect weekend at David and Carolyn’s cozy cottage! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. David and Carolyn’s property is absolutely stunning and great for those looking for a serene escape. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time! P.S. We loved meeting Daisy and so did our dogs!

This Deer Isle cottage is a real gem--a spotless, well-appointed farmhouse in a wonderful location. The book-lined living room was very cozy and comfortable--and the book collection was astoundingly good!. All the rooms had a wonderful spare but comfortable look; we loved the dining room and the kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable and nights were quiet. We felt isolated in a good way, though we often walked to the little village and elsewhere in the town. Eager to return in the summer and visit Lily Pond and sit on the screened porch!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, and while there is another property right next door, we enjoyed our privacy. The bed is very comfortable and the tub is deep and relaxing. Would stay here again!
