although the listing has a lot of pictures it's much more beautiful in person. great location to visit Rockland, Rockport,and Camden. we even took a trip to Boothbay to visit the botanical gardens for the lights. many great recommendations and things to do. Carlos was very proactive by sending us a message to make sure we got checked in. such a peaceful place and the views are fantastic. hope to visit again soon.

The place was very neat and clean. There was everything you need for a short visit or even a longer term stay, including some nice complimentary snacks. It’s just an hour drive from Acadia National Park and 10 minutes from Bangor, where you can find nice grocery stores and other services. Super recommended!

Great getaway location. Everything you need. Lots of wildlife around. Deanne was very responsive to any communications.

Debbie's place was lovely! Incredibly beautiful area, comfortable and cozy living room and good location. Both Bangor and Acadia aren't too far which is quite nice. The one downside is that the place is not within delivery distance for restaurants. But it's only a 20 minute drive to Ellsworth so it is easy to drive to restaurants! Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time staying in this charming cottage. It was everything we hoped for with comfortable spaces both inside and out and attention to detail with the furnishings, layout and decoration. The bed was comfy and the linens and towels were high quality. Iveta was easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home. We hope to come back!

Catherine is an amazing hostess! She is gracious, responsive and a very interesting conversationalist! Meadow Point Cottage is nothing short of an oceanfront paradise with views of the water spanning 270 degrees. Sunrises and sunsets, moonrises and moonsets, beach walks. Just a short drive takes you into Trenton, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The cottage is warm, cozy and beautifully constructed, and the amenities far exceeded our expectations. A top notch vacation spot and we will definitely be returning!

This was the perfect home base for our time hiking & exploring the island! Loved seeing the woods our of our bedroom window and being a quick drive from the beach & the park. Enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Noah's home is a little slice of paradise on the coast of Maine. It's private, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. We found the home very clean and well-cared for. My husband, children, and I spent a week unwinding at Noah's home and only wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly loved the fireplace, well-appointed kitchen, and the kayaks. Beds were super comfortable. Views were gorgeous and location perfect jumping off point to explore nearby Blue Hill and Deer Isle/Stonington. Highly recommend visiting during autumn. We can't wait to return!

Such an amazing cottage! Me and my family went up to Maine for a long weekend and had a great time, where we were surrounded by nature and lovely views of the sea. We were able to use the outdoor grill for dinner and also the beautiful interior allowed us to have the most cozy autumn nights, especially with the fire going! Highly recommend!

Basha’s cottage was sweet and inviting, upon entry we were greeted with lovely flowers and a note welcoming us. The view out to the ocean was enchanting and the cottage was very peaceful. All of Basha’s restaurant recommendations were on point! We would definitely come back, October was surprisingly warmer than expected and we only needed sweaters. The grocery store that Basha recommended in Blue Hill was perfect, there were farm fresh yogurts in Ball jars that I’ll never forget, how I wish we had yogurt like that back home in NY, also a homemade chicken pot pie and so many other delicious food items, fresh fruit etc. If you’re a shell fish lover as we are every restaurant has the very best! Gathering Moss cottage was a wonderful place to stay and experience Stonington. A very cozy cabin in a fantastic setting on a hill overlooking the Harbor. The cabin is as described and there were no unpleasant surprises. It’s a small, basic cabin with plenty of charm and a laidback vibe. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with utensils and cookware. Belinda was welcoming, kind and a generous host. Though her house is close to the cabin, she is respectful of boundaries and leaves you to your business. You wouldn’t even know she’s there unless you need something. The location is absolutely perfect as you can walk down to the Main Street, yet you have peace and quiet and splendid view. I would definitely stay at Gathering Moss again!

Lovely place to stay. It's about an hour drive from Acadia National Park. Location is very private with a nice outdoor patio area overlooking the water. Clean, spacious, easy parking, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. (the heated blanket was a bonus surprise) This was perfect as it was a bit chilly during our visit. Loved the shed out back as additional sleeping space. We would have used this if it was a bit warmer. Lots of games that the host provided and also some maps which were useful. We loved Kristin’s place so much we came back! Kristin was as helpful and responsive as ever and the location is just as beautiful in the fall as it was this summer. The wood stove was put to use and the cabin was so warm and cozy. Highly recommend !

This was a great little cottage in a quiet area, fantastic for a relaxing getaway. Joanne was always helpful and very responsive!
