Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Deer Isle

We highly recommend staying at this home on your visit to the Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor area. This house was a perfect fit for our family, two hoomans and two German Shorthaired Pointers (Scout and Henry)! It was bright, cheery, and welcoming. We all felt at home.  There were many thoughtful features that allowed us to enjoy our vacation along with our dogs, including a secured back yard, back deck, and front porch.  The home was immaculately clean, tidy and so well organized that you could find anything you needed intuitively.  Mary Ann was an amazing host who provided suggestions on restaurants, hikes and dog-friendly sites, which were all spot on. This home is perfection, and Mary Ann is a tremendous resource. We would love to stay here again!

Terras home was great, and was exactly as described and pictured. The only very minor problem we had ended up being the evening fog triggering a smoke alarm, but her and her husband were more than willing to run right over to check it out before we realized. Her welcome basket gave us plenty of ideas of what to do and where to go. She even has a pack and play, high chair, stroller and hiking baby carrier if you forget yours or need to save space. Really just a great home on magical island wonderland for anyone who enjoys the ocean and the out doors.

We stayed at Sue's place in mid/late October to access Acadia (around 45 minutes to most trailheads) and the fall colours. It was the perfect base and a beautiful location: it was always a delight to come back to the cabin after a day's hike to sit on the back porch, enjoy a glass of wine, and watch the wildlife. We cooked dinners at home and there was everything you could possibly need to prepare your own meals. If you are into stargazing, the location is great as it is very dark so you can see a lot - we brought along our travel telescope and were able to see Jupiter, Mars and Saturn! Overall, an amazing stay and, if we were ever to come back to the area, we would definitely stay at Sue's place again.

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable home. We found Tammie and Matt to be extremely helpful, welcoming and responsive. When we arrived, there was a welcome basket with treats, pancake mix, coffee and more, and we found milk, butter and eggs in the fridge. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well-stocked. Everything was nicely decorated and well-maintained, with umbrellas, shopping bags and insulated bags for our use, just to name a few things. We have family in Camden, and my family and I look forward to staying here again.

Perfect rustic cabin in the woods! Very cozy, warm and an easy drive to shopping and dining in Sullivan, Hancock and Ellsworth.

This home is such a fresh, lovely space with thoughtful details completely on point… fully-stocked kitchen, fresh muffins delivered, comfortable beds and linens… we felt absolutely at home. Communication was super clear and quick. We loved exploring the area and coming back to such a warm, comfy corner every day. Thank you, Jane!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jeremy's cottage! The home is charming, cozy, and very well-appointed, with everything we needed – plenty of linens, kitchen supplies, cutlery, and more. The back porch overlooking the river or the breakfast nook were perfect spots for morning coffee, and the kitchen made it easy to cook meals with lots of space. The bedrooms were comfortable and made for a restful night's sleep. The location is fantastic too! Short walk into Camden for great food or shops but also centrally located to visit nearby by towns like Lincolnville, Rockport, and Rockland. Jeremy was a terrific host – friendly, responsive, and helpful. I left my yoga mat behind and he was kind enough to offer to ship back to me. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Camden and would definitely recommend this cottage!

Definitely glad we found this place! The space was set up to be very welcoming and cozy. It’s a special host who is this generous with snacks, etc. it feels more like staying at the house of a friend. Highly recommended.

My hubby and I booked this spot for our anniversary trip and we enjoyed it so much. The space was spacious, super clean, cozy, and had everything needed to enjoy our time. The bed/linens were SO comfy and fresh feeling - we really enjoyed the extra effort put into pillows, comforter, etc. The VIEW was so peaceful and remote feeling. We enjoyed watching a big buck wandering the field every evening, and even some turkeys. It was extra fun to build a little campfire one evening and to enjoy the starry view! The location was close enough to a farm/market, small towns, restaurants, Bar Harbor, and park entrance. We enjoyed it all. The hosts were friendly and super responsive to any questions we had, gave great local recommendations, and even brought us some fun bakery treats one day. Super sweet hosts and a wonderful, quiet location.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

The Ravens' Perch was a great spot for us and our dogs during our Acadia trip! Jen was very friendly, responsive to messages, and had recommendations on restaurants for us. The location couldn't have been better for what we did! Very close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Their place is adorable and clean, and had everything we needed! We will be recommending their place!

Privat and quiet apartment near to bar harbor and acadia national park. Had a nice time with everything i needed. Very good communication and flexibility with lacey. I would love to come back some day :-)

This charming home was exactly as advertised in the description and photos. Jordana made special accommodations for my small family, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. Toward the end of our visit, a snowstorm caused a town-wide power outage. Jordana went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during this time and she responded to our questions quickly. She was also understanding when we needed to check out early due to the weather-related outage. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home.

James was a very nice and responsive host. A minor oversight happened and he took care of it immediately. Any questions were answered very promptly and he worked with me regarding extending my stay. I hope to be able to rent this apartment the next time I visit Bangor.

Warren and I were very pleased with our stay at The Lodge. Nancy communicated very well before and during our visit, and she went above and beyond in helpfulness once we arrived. She and her husband were extremely kind hosts. They were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our accommodations were so pleasant, as well, and we felt right at home. And Nancy's blueberry muffins were scrumptious! We'll definitely make a return visit to Nancy's place whenever we visit Maine again.

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. stunning in the fall. feels very private even though it's next to other cabins. chairs in the back are awesome for view of falling leaves and woods. walkable to sandy point beach, but easy drive if necessary. amazing places to eat and shop in Belfast and surrounding area. we had an amazing trip.

Great stay at Bethany’s cabin! Felt right at home for a party of three. The house came stocked with everything we needed, and there’s plenty of options for food/coffee/activities nearby (go to the Cove for a perfect sunset). It’s roughly 20min by car for going downtown. Excellent hosts, very communicative and I’d definitely recommend for anyone heading to the area!

This was the exact place we were looking for. Peaceful, rustic but with all the modern amenities, and a fire place that tops it off. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to leave the world behind a few days.

We loved Kristin’s place so much we came back! Kristin was as helpful and responsive as ever and the location is just as beautiful in the fall as it was this summer. The wood stove was put to use and the cabin was so warm and cozy. Highly recommend !

We had a wonderful stay, it was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting around the camp fire and enjoying nature while only being minutes away from camden. George was very helpful and quick to respond.

Kelly's cabin was a very quiet and peaceful place where we were able to enjoy the beach right on the property, watch the sunset and the changing water levels on the shore. The cabins are about a 45 minute drive from Acadia and Bar Harbor which are a must for a long or short vacation in Maine. Our cabin was simple but had everything we needed and Kelly was very responsive with any questions we had.

Barry and JoAnne’s cabin is a gem. It’s a fantastic find if you are looking for a place that feels off the beaten path, and it’s an easy drive to the Schoodic peninsula. The cabin is more like a well appointed small home in a peaceful, tranquil setting - one that you instantly feel comfortable in. Barry and JoAnne are thoughtful and kind people, and wonderful hosts. They achieve that delicate balance of allowing one privacy and yet are totally responsive and willing to offer suggestions if you need help. We would have enjoyed talking with them a bit more.
