Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Deer Isle

Large home with great common areas for larger group. Off street parking. Location is a short walk to downtown Camden. Beds were comfortable. Was there with a group of 5 for Christmas by the Sea weekend and it worked out well.

This was hands down the best place we have ever stayed both on AirBnB and through other platforms. Mark & Kathy were so incredibly kind. The house is private with stunning water views and so clean and comfortable. The home was truly amazing. I can’t say enough about this place and the hosts. Everything was perfect and while we typically go somewhere new every travel, this has us already thinking about coming back just to enjoy it again! It’s close to Acadia though with how busy Acadia is I recommend visiting Schoodic Peninsula and the other preserves in the area. Sunset here was spectacular.

A great place to stay in such a great area. Feels so in the middle of nowhere but in a good way. The stars are beautiful at night, the house was gorgeous, and they have plenty of games to play since there is no TV. But we didn’t miss the TV at all! Whoever sleeps upstairs will be forced to wake up with the sun because of the lack of curtains but also not a bad problem to have :) And the bathroom floors are heated, which is such a nice amenity!

A fantastic stay- the cabin was better than I could have imagined. Wonderful spot for a family or just friends trying to getaway. Very close to the park and so much to do. Beautiful surroundings and fun eateries near by. The cabin itself was well equipped for us to make a number of meals in so we didn’t have to eat out every time. Heaters in every room made for a very comfortable experience. The response time from our hosts was quick and efficient, making us feel welcomed. Puzzles and board games gave us an awesome excuse for a tv detox and spend quality time with our people. We hope to visit this area again in the fall as the leaves changing was such a magical memory. I might have thought it was a little pricy for this cabin but once I saw the convenience of being just a couple miles from the park entrance and how cute this home was, every penny is justified! Highly recommend this home to anyone!

Terras home was great, and was exactly as described and pictured. The only very minor problem we had ended up being the evening fog triggering a smoke alarm, but her and her husband were more than willing to run right over to check it out before we realized. Her welcome basket gave us plenty of ideas of what to do and where to go. She even has a pack and play, high chair, stroller and hiking baby carrier if you forget yours or need to save space. Really just a great home on magical island wonderland for anyone who enjoys the ocean and the out doors.

Jackie's place was just perfect for me and my friend and was exactly as described. There are new windows so it was nice and warm even when strong winds were blowing. Jackie was so gracious and provided a lovely snack basket. The kitchen items were top quality and she thought of everything one might need. She even provides multiple steaming services if you want to chill and watch a movie or tv show. Bedding was comfy, clean and warm. Bathroom was clean with thick towels and hreat water pressure. Absolutely nothing bad to say here. I would move right in if it was for sale! :)

This is an absolutely beautiful historic farm house set in an idyllic setting. We used the house for a reunion between 3 of us who hadn't seen each other since our Army days 45 years ago, and we enjoyed this house immensely. Michael's home was lovely, surrounded by a profusion of stunning yellow sunflowers, apple trees, gardens, and a wildflower meadow that stretched out to a large salt pond from which you could enjoy a peaceful view of the countryside. The house was amazingly well-stocked, had plenty of room for privacy and entertaining, was tastefully decorated and clean. Michael was the perfect host, easy to contact, and he provided an amazingly well organized house and area guide. About 6 miles away was the charming little town of Blue Hill that had a fantastic grocery coop, a great restaurant called the Arborvine , a YMCA that was clean and had a lovely pool. Holbrook Island Sactuary was a nice state park nearby. We loved this home and didn't want to leave!

A beautiful home that is right on the water (just steps away, especially with the planks that allow you to walk further out into the grassy area). The hot tub was a really nice addition, and the stove fireplace was really nice and warming as well. All beds were comfy and kitchen was stocked with all the staples, so we were able to do lots of cooking. Jessalyn and Joshua were super quick to respond whenever we had a question.

This was such an amazing place! It was beyond beautiful both inside and outside! Not to mention the hospitality was truly remarkable! Shelly was such a kind host and made our stay so much more enjoyable! Couldn’t recommend enough

Very comfortable Airbnb, we loved our stay. The beds were great, the living area was really nice, cosy and well decorated. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and the harbor. The coffee provided in the Airbnb was also great. We had a wonderful stay

Perfect location for our needs, away from the craziness of Bar Harbor (yet just a few miles away when we needed to drive in for meals) and very close to Acadia National Park where we spent most of our time. Kevin and Donna’s place was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it together others!

The Nest was beautiful, well appointed, and the attention to design details went above and beyond. Pam has such talent in creating exquisite, comfortable and elegant spaces. Everything was perfect. Her muffins and peanut butter cookies are the best!

best airbnb i’ve ever stayed in!! so clean and tidy, with extra linens and towels. keith and lisa thought of EVERYTHING, from slippers to robes to tea to s’mores, this place truly had it all. i’ve never felt so comfortable and at home in an airbnb! they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, better than any hotel or airbnb. the distance to acadia was perfect, and ellsworth was nice to spend time in as well, lots of great food options and cute little shops. when we come back to maine, we will definitely stay here again if keith and lisa will have us! 🩷

This is a great place to stay, even better than it appears in the photos. It was not just clean, it was immaculate - and for an extremely observant nurse - that was awesome. The unit had easy access with a slight gradient path and only two steps - which was very helpful for us as seniors. The firm bed was very comfortable. Barbara was responsive and thought of everything, including having delicious specialty coffee for us - Thanks. She even had a cooler in the closet for us to use when we went to Acadia National Park. Like I said, she truly thought of everything. If we return to this area of Maine, we would love to stay again. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Belfast and our stay in the Parisian Apt. It is exactly as the pictures show! It is located downtown making it convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. Thierry is a wonderful host who answered all our questions. We will definitely stay here again! We highly recommend Belfast and the Parisian Apt!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy studio apartment in Camden. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the town center, the harbor, and a variety of restaurants and shops. The beautiful library and other local amenities are close by, making it easy to explore everything Camden has to offer. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with convenient parking available on a side street away from any busy traffic. Inside, the apartment is charming and comfortable. The gas stove adds a warm, inviting touch, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a studio and well-equipped. Overall, this apartment was the perfect spot for a relaxing and convenient stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay delightful Victorian home with great water views on the porch. We had a great breakfast with, farm garden fresh produce, homemade breads. Perfect location for visiting Camden and hiking the State Park. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing girls weekend getaway at Caroline’s place. Caroline is the most kind and sweet host. Absolutely loved our peaceful weekend. The property is beautiful and has beautiful views of the ocean. We also loved the breakfast!

We loved our stay at The Victorian By The Sea!! The inn and grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing and calming, breakfasts are scrumptious, the location is convenient to hiking in Camden Hills State Park and sightseeing and shopping in the lovely town of Camden, and the host, Caroline, is absolutely delightful, accommodating in making her guests comfortable, resourceful with touring tips, and an amazing cook and baker!

This place is in great location. Nothing was more than 20 minute drive away. It's a unique property with a distinctive style. Listing does a good job of explaining the property though the magic of camera makes the place look a bit bigger and grander. The bed in 2nd floor BR is on the firmer side which I liked. Kitchen is well equipped but small, specially given how nice the rest of the property is. Music equipment (in wall speakers and Sonos speakers) are great and we enjoyed. 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms and bathrooms are small. One needs to be very careful so as not to stub their toes walking around the bed. We did not use the swimming pool - was not heated (we were told a day before we checked in), floating leaves (the area is forested) and dirt on pool floor. The living room has comfortable seating only for 4-5. Roof top deck is very nice and offers great views, has only 4 chairs.
