Unique! In the Heart of the City! (Free Parking)
Me and my husband had a wonderful stay in “the office” It was a perfect spot to stay for a long weekend exploring Newport for our first time. We were able to walk to two events that we had planned and all other adventures we had in store. I must say my favorite part was having coffee(keurig with kcups on site) by the window and the sound machine that was on site that was perfect for night time. They provided clear instructions for parking and entering. The owners were kind enough to offer us extended parking after our check out if we wanted to enjoy Newport a little longer! We have already talked about returning here!

Apartment w/ Jacuzzi in Newport | 1st floor
We had a wonderful weekend stay at Liliane’s Newport apartment. We were initially given the incorrect code for the apartment, but Liliane answered our call immediately and provided us the correct code to enter. The location is absolutely perfect- it was an easy walk to get just about anywhere we wanted to go. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. The couch wasn’t the most comfortable but the bed sure was. We just watched tv in bed at night, so no big deal for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Sunset Hill Idyllic In-Law Suite 5 min from Beach
Kristina was a wonderful host for my friends and I over a long weekend. She was very responsive and the Airbnb was fill of suggestions for local nature walks, farmers markets, beaches, and restaurants. The place was spotless and set in such a peaceful neighborhood. I wish we could’ve have stayed longer!

Second floor suite near Cliff Walk
This place is perfect for a weekend away in Newport. Close enough to downtown but far enough away to escape from the “excitement” of the touristy bars and restaurants. So peaceful. Rob was extremely friendly and an overall amazing host.

Cozy Den, steps to Cliff Walk, Beaches & Downtown
Our stay could not have been better and was truly enhanced by staying at Taryn’s. She was extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. We had the most wonderful trip and I could not recommend staying here enough! We even had a wasp sneak in through the door behind us and Taryn came down with wasp spray and a net to get it out for us. So many little details were included in this home (sewing kit, extra makeup mirrors, local guidebook, a packed beach bag, etc.) I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

Stroll to the Harbor from a Remodeled Downtown Apartment
We had a very nice weekend staying at Karen's. Her place on Spring Street is walkable to many restaurants, shops, Thames Street and the waterfront. The apartment was clean and has good light. We would be happy to come back again.

Charming Studio Off Thames
I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

Walk to the Heart of It All
Brandon was a wonderful host and his place was great! He frequently checked in throughout the weekend to make sure everything was okay. The treats and wine on the counter were such a nice touch. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Your guide to Newport
All About Newport
On the southern tip of Aquidneck Island in Rhode Island Sound, Newport is famous for its scenic landscapes, rich sailing history, and renowned music scene. Located southeast of Providence, Newport is easily reachable from Boston and New York City. Its yacht-filled harbor has played host to the world’s oldest and most famous sailing competition over the years, and the town is also the site of Naval Station Newport, a crucial Navy training center housing the United States Naval War College, and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
In downtown, 18th-century clapboard houses line the narrow streets, whereas Bellevue Avenue is home to Gilded Age mansions, some of which have become museums. Several public and private beaches welcome visitors, with Easton Beach being the most popular for swimming and kite-surfing. Just outside of town, you’ll find picturesque vineyards offering wine tasting and alfresco dining. And to the north, Colt State Park offers walking paths, playing fields, and an open-air chapel.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Newport
Like many New England towns, Newport's weather can vary throughout the year. Summers are pleasant with warm temperatures, sunny days, and an abundance of events to keep you busy, including the city’s world-renowned folk and jazz festivals and international tennis tournament in July. As temperatures cool, fall foliage is on full display in late September, early October. Enjoy a scenic drive to take in the colors. While winters are cold and snowy, it may be the best time to enjoy your Newport vacation rental and a cozy dinner at one of the local vineyards. May brings warmer temperatures, drier weather, and delicious oysters and chowders from local growers and vendors at the annual Newport Oyster & Chowder Festival.
