Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Comal River

Exactly what we were looking for. Great location. Peace and quiet for the older adults, day trips for the younger. Near to retail areas. The older guys loved the bird, squirrel and deer watching from both decks. Kitchen FULLY equipped, just bring your own food to cook at home. Hotel quality bedlinens (swoon), and beautifully decorated. Nice to catch premier league soccer on big screen on comfy couches. Came home relaxed and happy. Thanks Debbie!

We spent a beautiful weekend at the location and loved it! There were 12 family members and we were able to gather together both inside and out, and the house was spacious enough that we were also able to spread out and have our own space. Close to grocery store, the lake, and a short drive to New Braunfels and Gruene. Rando was super helpful and kind. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place for a peaceful getaway, beautiful home, and tastefully decorated

This was our families 1st air bnb and the bar is set extremely high when we rent others. Why, the fresh fragrance from the moment you walked inside, the decor in every room was beautiful and personalized. It was designed very thoughtful thinking of home away from home concept. It is a very spacious home so no one was on top of each other. We had a small gathering and the family just raved over how well kept and beautiful the home was. We spent a lot of time in the back yard the oasis is better than the pictures. 4 different sitting areas. Allowed some to watch their favorite series on the outdoor tv. While others were catching up with friends sitting at the table, and others were enjoying the beautiful pool. We used the grill which was my 1st time using a gas grill. This will be our San Antonio spot when we come back to visit.

This was the perfect location! So close to so much and there is plenty to do. The pool was an added bonus for us to enjoy with the beautiful weather. Megan was the perfect host and was so helpful and responsive. She even gave great suggestions of places to visit while in town!

The home exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and the beds were very confortable. Our family loved it. I would not hesitate booking it again in the future.

This was exactly as described. A comfortable king sized bed with extra pillows is always appreciated. Since there were some restaurants and food carts close by we didn’t need to use the kitchen but it was equipped with refrigerator/ stove/ dishwasher. Best of all there was a washer and dryer. It’s on the river walk which we used each of the days we were there. This was the first time I used the Latch app. And it was easy to use. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at Susanne’s place and once again it did not disappoint. Easy check-in, a welcome baked tart upon arrival and available snacks and drinks. Comfy bedding and the location is 10/10. Easy walk to the Pearl District and close by St. Mary’s street for food and nightlife.

This was our third time to stay at River Haven. The entire guesthouse was extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked and included snacks, coffee, and bottled water. Kathleen & Greg are great hosts. They’re always available to help and answer any questions. We will definitely be back. Highly Recommend !!

We really enjoyed our stay in Andres's apartment. It was located right on the Riverwalk as shown in the photograph. The apartment was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We found several really good breakfast and dinner spots within a 5-to-10-minute walk. We also walked to the Pearl in about 15 minutes and also walked to the Alamo and downtown SA in about 30 minutes. Andres was very responsive in answering any questions that we had during our stay.

Johana communicated in a timely manner. The home was easy to find, clean and cozy. The kitchen had the essentials needed to make small meals and snacks. Johana provided the first drink and homemade cookies. One thing we struggled with was the temperature of the cowboy tub, the instructions for the tub and jets could have been more clear. However we did enjoy being on the tub at night and the ambiance on the patio. We really enjoyed our stay and how close we were to the Botanical gardens, Riverwalk and airport.

This was a lovely spot to decompress after spending the holidays with my family. Atha and Kurt were kind and responsive. The location is tucked away, but easy to find, quiet and comfortable. The wifi worked great for me to work remotely, and I stayed super warm even though the weather was frigid and stormy.

Awesome little place to stay! On a quiet street but close enough to bar, restaurants and coffee shops. Super comfy bed for a good rest. Being able to park in the driveway is also a plus. Marilyn was very accommodating and greeted us when we got there. Thanks again!

We had such a great experience here! The yard was a peaceful oasis with beautiful plant life and birds, and the little pool was most refreshing. The place was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Jeff was friendly but also was very respectful of our privacy. The nearby train tracks are noticeable but we didn’t mind it at all. Location was perfect for walking around Buda and rideshares were fairly easy to get into downtown Austin. Very much enjoyed everything about our stay, and would stay again, we definitely recommend!

We had a great time for the weekend, escaping city life and getting back to nature. We took a drive to the Westcave Nature Preserve which is worth the 45 minutes. I am happy we chose to stay in Wimberly again, and this cabin was the perfect setting. We loved the views, and we had a very friendly cardinal friend pop by every morning and evening! We will be back!

Vesper Lodge is a lovely home! The decor of the home and styling of the bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen are on point. I appreciate attention to details which result in at home comfort like hand soap, room spray, diffuser, sound machines, fans, copious amount of kitchen tools, and a plethora of blankets. We are looking forward to visiting sometime during the winter so we can better enjoy the fire pit, back patio, and the fireplace. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely space with us!

If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place ! I could sit on the porch and watch the humming birds for hours. The property is beautiful and Brigitte & Shawn are wonderful host. We will definitely be coming back to visit.

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

Oh my goodness, Burning Creek was a dream! From 15 to 73, we all loved it. It was the perfect place to celebrate not one, but two birthdays! (Our family of 6 included 3 generations, and mom and son share a birthday.) It was also the perfect location to visit Texas Tubes for tubing, Wimberly for a romantic anniversary dinner, and the outlet mall. We loved our starlit swims and late night chats by the beautiful pool. We hope to come back soon!

Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. Very quiet and peaceful place.

Texas Cabin is a cozy, delightful place to stay. Patty was wonderful host, friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations on dining and shopping. Two friends and I visited for three days and the house was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of seating and each of our beds bedrooms were quiet and the beds very comfy! We enjoyed visiting on the back porch with a view of her menagerie of animals and birds. We visited Wimberly, Gruene, and Blanco, all within 30 or so miles of Texas Cabin. On the back porch, you feel secluded, however, we were happy to tell our husbands at home, that Patty's house was a short distance away, as well as neighbors. If you make reservations, be sure to include some downtime to just enjoy the ambience of the home and beautiful outdoors!! Patty, thank you for your hospitality and I'll definitely visit again!!
