My wife and I just returned from another incredible stay at Jennifer’s yurt to celebrate our anniversary, having first visited 5.5 years ago. This place is pure magic—a perfect blend of comfort and connection to nature. The yurt’s interior is visually stunning, and the new star and cloudscape projector creates an unforgettable, immersive experience. The well water is the best we’ve ever tasted, like drinking the essence of this serene place.Jennifer is a warm, welcoming host who ensures everything runs smoothly while respecting your privacy. The yurt is peaceful, private, and impeccably maintained, making it ideal for a relaxing reset. We’ve never had a single issue during our stays. We can’t recommend this yurt enough and will absolutely be back again! Thank you, Jennifer, for creating such a special retreat.

Stayed with the family for a weekend and was amazing! beautiful property, lots to do outside, kayaking on pond was awesome, breakfast was delicious. Ana was super responsive to questions. My kids and I totally want to return!

Our stay at Geoff and Sarah’s yurt was amazing! The location was relaxing and quiet; Outdoor spaces very pleasant and inviting! (Kristin especially loved driving the road from the highway up to the property, and sharing music together one afternoon!! Our hosts were friendly, welcoming, and respectful. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

Absolutely a beautiful Yurt with beautiful views & even more beautiful souls the straw house team went way beyond & felt more like family then a staff. everything about a vacation away from redding was perfect , food . thank you so much for bringing down blankets & chairs & a table for us by the river to lay & read & relax. the cafe'is heaven & can't wait to come back for more. in love with All of it. 🤗 very blessed to gave found this place. A very quiet, peaceful place to relax with our dogs. Plenty of room for them to roam and enjoy. Loved playing with them, taking pictures, flying my drone and relaxing with your loved ones. The yurt is spacious and comfortable with a variety of book collections. We will definitely come back!

What a wonderful place! We spent the weekend wearing the dogs out on the trails within birdsong, then tasting some wine in the nearby vineyards. The Sage cabin was perfect. Our dogs loved having a little yard and the cabin itself was just the right size. Worried about sleeping on a pullout sofa? Don't be- it was very comfy and we slept super well. We got delicious gluten free cookies on arrival, and the place was spotless. The coffee provided was delicious. We loved sitting outside and just listening to the birds. On the second day, I realized we got the wifi while sitting on the porch of the cabin- but honestly, we preferred being off the grid :). The trails that birdsong have made within the retreat area are so lovely, and well maintained. We will be back! We loved it! Thank you!

This location was wonderful. My husband and I had a relaxing and peaceful time. Everything was clearly marked and there was a lot of nearby wineries to try.

Great stay. Best to be aware of it's unique charm. A nice basic yurt in a campground with shared bathroom facilities. The location is great being near Sequoia/Kings Cyn NP. The location is also great if you are a hang glider/para sailor and using the on-site landing area. The yurts are the "luxury" of the campground. There where no RV's running their generators - but you will be sharing toilet/bathing facilities with rest of the campground - so some clutter & messiness is inherent in this arrangement. Like all campgrounds, there may be the guests that stay up later then you around the campfire and there will be young families camping with up-at-the-crack-of-dawn youngsters. The vibe of the place is great if you are good with this kind of vibe. There's a small zip line on site - great fun - but you will need to oversee it's safe use. Spencer is very friendly, very hands on in managing his property and easy to communicate with. He took the care to lend us some trail guides. 👍

Great location only about an hour from Donner Pass ski areas. Hot tub and sauna were great after a day of skiing. Yurt is spacious and comfortable - even with two kiddos. Would recommend!

Absolutely lovely place. Wish I had discovered it a long time ago! It’s super quiet, and fun, and surrounded by nature. Woke up each morning to the sound of all kinds of birds. Great hosts, great location. Will definitely come back.

There's plenty to do and see on the property. It was great for me and my two girls. We loved spending time at the treehouse, playing in the creek, and relaxing in the yurt. It was really great to connect with nature and with each other. There's lots of hills and hiking, so we got some good exercise in too.

WOW! What a place! What an amazing off grid glamping experience! The perfect blend of solitude, beauty, and relaxation. From the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of fresh pine cones in the air during the day to the views of the stars and the warmth of a cozy fire at night, this place had it all. Many thoughtful amenities around every corner. From board games to books or wifi and Netflix, all in the seemingly middle of nowhere. This place won’t disappoint… I highly recommend!

The inside of the yurt looked exactly like the photos. It was decorated well, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and it was fully stocked. The drive to the yurt is as described- narrow and steep roads! It was a scenic drive but plan extra time for road closures. We enjoyed our stay, but it is worth noting that the yurt is not secluded or very far from the main house. The listing does describe it accurately, but we experienced a lot of noise late into the night and early in the morning. The host can not control neighbors, wildlife, or pets, but with the nature of the structure, we did not sleep very much. We would still stay again! It is a fun area to explore for hiking.

My seven year old daughter, my mom and our two dogs between us, were looking to book something for Mother's Day weekend to really feel like we got away and this place was absolutely the perfect getaway. The property itself was stunning. Remote, quiet, peaceful, beautiful. We felt like we were miles away from anyone else. To get to the home, you do need to drive up a bumpy dirt road for about 1/4 of a mile, but my mid-size 2WD was able to make it. If there had been snow, we would have needed 4WD or chains. The cabin was fully stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were set up to get the best views, the home kept very cool when it got almost 90 degrees when the windows were open bringing in the outside air. The deck was my favorite part — HUGE with a clean hot tub, stunning views and just the right amount of sitting. I fully enjoyed my morning yoga there! We want to go back! Two days were not enough and I am already looking up when we can visit again. Thank you!

Beautiful views! It was a great space to get everyone together with plenty of areas when you want some privacy as well. The yurt was incredible. like an vacation within a vacation. The location was secluded and quiet, but still close to the center of town for activity when you want it.

We had a wonderful stay at Erin’s yurts. The space was peaceful, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed for a relaxed and memorable weekend. Erin was incredibly thoughtful and communicative, making sure we were comfortable from start to finish. The yurt itself was cozy and well-equipped, and the setting felt both secluded and connected to nature—perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and restorative escape.

Awesome stay. We were intrigued by the Yurt concept and thought we'd give it a go. Wow, we were surprised how cozy and comfortable it was. Love having a live fire in the fireplace and it warmed the place very rapidly. Once the fire died the temp was ideal for sleeping. A bit chilly in the AM, but a rejuvenated fire solved that immediately. Super private location with a gate a winding, scenic driveway with lots of space to park vehicles and two trucks pulling bass boats. We will stay here again, for sure. Great job Judith!

I cannot find the words to express how much we truly enjoyed our time at Veronika’s place. It more peaceful than we expected, and the pictures simply do not do it justice. Veronika was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home during our stay. My husband and I had an amazing stay, and we will definitely recommend Veronika’s place to family and friends and will return for future visits.

Yet another incredible visit to one of our favorite places on earth! The kids were on cloud nine exploring and adventuring all weekend long while the adults enjoyed staying cozy by the fire, cooking up meals in the lakeside kitchen, and making visits to the animals.
