Cabin vacation rentals in Wrights Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Back of Beyond Ranch. The privacy was much needed, as we live in Phoenix with 9 million people surrounding us. The way in, and all the areas around are beautiful. The roads are curvy getting there, but the stay is definitely worth it. Loaded with charm and character one might think it's a bit dated, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. Can't beat privacy deep in woods, with deer and other animals walking throughout the property- only sketchy animal was a skunk that stayed well away. (Thank goodness) Leif was very prompt and attentive to our needs, and we would definitely recommend this as a base of operations for a grand adventure. If you want a place to just hang, the pool table, hot tub, fishing, canoeing, and trail on property will definitely offer plenty to keep you entertained. Great job Leif!

Absolutely amazing stay! The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed, and so cozy. The highlight was definitely the stunning view from the living area—huge glass windows made it feel like we were right in nature. Everything was well-maintained, and the place had a warm, inviting feel. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Kathryn’s cabin was perfect for our little family. It was great to hang out and swim in the lake with the kid and the dogs. I woke up early and swam and canoed before every else got up. We went to a nearby grocery outlet and picked up some steaks and charcoal and grilled on the porch. Kathryn even came by and asked us if we needed anything from town. She was making a pie for her grandkids which makes her very cool in my book. Just as we were checking out a bear cub shimmied down a tree. Two days without internet was a real blessing, but there is a tv and the kid got to watch tom and Jerry cartoons Saturday morning. If you’re expecting a tech yuppy place probably not for you. Also almost no poison oak, it’s there, but not bad. That stuff can really ruin a summer.

Mike’s place was great! Awesome value, very convenient location.

Cindy place was amazing! It’s located right next to the Hyatt which we did not take advance of (but wish we did)! It was very easy to get to Mt. Rose to ski every day. The place was very clean, and it had cable tv. We totally want to come back here next year for New Years and hope they will host us again!

This Cabin Reminded me of my Family cabin in Colorado. Loved it!!!

Lakefront location!!! Any closer to the water and you would be getting wet! My wife and I spent a week here and loved it. Constant view of the lake. Great easy parking… a couple steps to the front door. Patio on the lake cannot be beat. We’ll be back.

If you are looking for a retreat this is the place. The waterfront backyard makes leaving difficult. Love the place and can't wait to return.

Enjoyed our stay here. More than enough room for 3 of us. Appreciated the washer and dryer and loved the hot tub. The deck is HUGE. Some deck chairs would have been nice instead of benches, but that's a pretty minor thing since we were out and about in the area a lot. Definitely would stay again.

Drue & Rene’s cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with my partner. The cottage was so cute, cozy, and charming and exactly as pictured - we enjoyed the hot tub, grabbing yummy food at fudenjuice in town, and going for a walk. The property was so peaceful and quiet, and we will definitely be back ! :)

We absolutely loved the place and can’t wait to rebook! House was super spacious and beautiful location! Lots for the kids to do while the adults had a separate space to unwind! Hosts were extremely responsive and provided all of the information we needed for an enjoyable stay!

I like how quiet and serene it was. Felt like we had the neighborhood to ourselves. Looks like Olga is doing a lot of updating to the the chalet. We will stay again and would love to see how it looks next year

Nice house with a great room and 2 bedrooms, just the right size for a family. It was ideal for a skiing trip to Northstar for me and my 2 children. The hot tub was nice and clean and felt great after a day of skiing. There is a nice gas fireplace that was both cheery and warmed up the room and helped dry out our snow pants. The location is great for getting to both Northstar and downtown Kings Beach - note that you do have to get over a pass to get to Northstar, so in the winter bring your chains or AWD car in case of weather. It feels professionally run - the hosts were proactive about communication and quickly responsive. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

Todd & Ileen’s place truly lives up to the pictures and description just as beautiful, if not more! Tucked away in the woods, it offers a cozy, serene retreat that feels perfectly private once you enter into, it’s like your own little escape into nature. The cabin is warm and inviting, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom with its skylight roof window—lying in bed and watching the full moon through it was pure magic. It’s those little moments that made the stay unforgettable.

Chris let us check in early. That was much appreciated. We did not realize we could walk across the street to Gar Woods.. a restaurant we frequent when we visit Tahoe. The place was clean and matched the photos. We used all 4 bedrooms for our 3 families and enjoyed spending time together. We lucked out on both weather and traffic.

Fantastic location! The cabin was a perfect base camp for seeing all of the beauty of Lake Tahoe. Glenn has it set up to make you feel right at home.

We had a great time visiting the snow with our child. The cabin was cozy and comfy. Easy and comfortable overnight stay!

We LOVE staying here whatever the season! Everything is perfect for us and our husky dog inside the beautiful house and the large enclosed yard. This has been our favorite place to stay in all of Tahoe :)

We loved staying here and would come back as soon as we could. We find many airbnbs do not live up to the quality they advertise. However, this gem is more than worth a stay. We did not leave the area all weekend because we wanted to soak up every minute. The cabin is incredibly clean, well maintained, and as shown in photos. The hosts are extremely responsive and catered to any requests we had immediately. I cannot wait to come back soon and hopefully for longer!

Excellent stay

Great location and a cute little cabin! Very close to palisades (where we skied) and local restaurants and a little market. Safeway not too far away either. We brought our dog, so the near by trails were great. Annalisa was very responsive to all our texts, and flexible when we got snowed in! Would recommend for a cozy winter get-away!

We are very pleased with our stay. Two nights, two adults, two teens & 1 dog. The surroundings are very woodsy. Quiet cabin resort that is close to everything in South lake Tahoe. We were able to walk to a yummy breakfast spot nearby. The drive to various trails is not long. We explored nearby casinos that were 15 minutes away tops. The cabin was very well decorated and equipt with thoughtful touches. Very clean and comfortable. Our teens loved the loft and adults could easily fit there to sleep. Fans and heaters included. Temp control overall was amazing. Outside was 29 degrees but heater was perfect.. Main bed is comfy and couch too. Side yard is shared and we had nice neighbors. Our dog was able to play catch in the big space. I would highly recommend this property, thank you!
