Windansea Beach vacation rentals

Location was the best, only few houses down to the steps to the beach. Endless ocean view from kitchen all the way out to the patio. And yes Dolphin sittings every day. My 3 year old loved it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. One thing to note (must be able to walk up stairs to get to unit)

Loved our staycation at this adorable beach house! Location could not have been better - just a couple blocks from beach access and also super close to restaurants, shops and bars. The house is very cute and was just the right size for our little family of four. The kitchen is well stocked including a French press and keurig. It was also nice having both a front and back yard. Our dog and toddler both thoroughly enjoyed this protected outdoor space. Hosts are also fantastic and were incredibly responsive and generous, including when we embarrassingly locked ourselves out of the house. Highly recommend and would book again!

We stayed at Leti's place in La Jolla and it was perfect. Family of 3 with a small child and we couldn't have ask for a better location. The restaurants were on the same street, then 2 blocks over was the beach for all day playing. There is a playground on the beach as well. Parking was vital since La Jolla is a busy beach. Nights were very quiet in La Jolla. We felt like once the sun went down, the street became quiet which was perfect for us. The apartment had a rooftop terrace which we loved and we ate all our meals out on the terrace. If we return to San Diego, we would definitely want to stay at Leti's AirBnB.

We absolutely loved this place! The location was perfect to walk a few blocks to see the sun set and a few blocks to the bay to watch the sun rise. We enjoyed the inside parking for our rental car. Visited La Jolla, and old town. We went for a salon work trip, and it was absolutely perfect!

A very peaceful and spacious rental for our San Diego trip. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything you need, and the patio and backyard seating area were wonderful extensions of the space to enjoy the gorgeous weather and landscaping. Our super friendly host gave us great recommendations for adventures, restaurants, and neighborhood walks that we really enjoyed. And bonus points for Koa (doggie host) who is the absolute sweetest!

Great place, easy walk to beach or downtown. Ryan’s place is very well stocked with everything you could need. We had a great time!! There was even a Christmas tree up (we were there over Christmas) which made it feel very homey. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s place! We were in San Diego visiting family and the location was perfect. The apartment was super clean with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and of course walks on the beach! There is a good selection of restaurants to choose from close by. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!

This location was so great especially traveling with little kids. We walked the boardwalk every day. Mission Beach and Bonita Cove are 5 min walks. Belmont Park is even closer. Yummy restaurants. Unit was great. It’s showing some wear from being a rental property. AC in primary smelled a little musty but maybe that’s because it’s so close to the ocean? The retractable doors off the living room and primary were awesome. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces. You can see the ocean from all of them. We had a great time. Garage doesn’t have a door that closes to the alley so you can’t leave items like beach gear or strollers wagons but we found a place to store them. So many walkable things very close. Location is hard to beat.

Great spaces for family to hang out together and separately too. Very well appointed. Loved the deck and the hot tub! Thanks Helen. We will book again sometime.

Absolutely loved stay at Joshua’s bungalow! It is cute & beautiful, clean, perfect location, patios are lush. It was great for our group! Notes- know youre in the war zone, it’s not that bad to us, and worth it, quiets down at like 10. Know this is a jack & jill arrangement with pocket doors- be sure youre close with your bunk mates, if you know what im saying! Also note youre in San Diego beachside- it can be rainy/misty in the mornings- the patio furniture can get wet- dont forget to wipe down! Plenty of towels. The beach is a block or so, the main drag is also a block or so- all the restaurants and shopping you can imagine! So nice to be right in the middle of it all. We had an absolute blast! Definitely will be returning soon (:

Plenty of room for my family of 6 we all had plenty of room to move around felt homey. The area was quiet felt safe. Location is relatively close to all San Diego attractions, everything within 20 mins.

This is our 2nd time visiting and staying at the property. It was perfect for our family and very comfortable! 10/10 recommend! Very clean, all the amenities and a short drive to everything! Corey and Anja were very communicative and hospitable!

We had a great stay at Erik's place . The house is very clean and exactly as described. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for two adults. It's in a great location - easy walking distance to a few great restaurants, awesome coffee shop and a liquor store. The bay is just a short 2 blocks away. We had trouble opening the lock on the shed (to access the bikes) and Erik responded right away. We also accidentally broke the shower head during our visit and Erik was super kind and understanding. Will definitely rent this house again!

Staying at Robert’s place truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfy and cozy! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful sunshine that poured into the home. Will stay here when I’m visiting San Diego again for sure!

Maria was an amazing host and so responsive! The home and rooms were as advertised and shown with comfortable furniture and sleeping options. The chair that pulls out as a bed was even more comfortable than it may look in the pictures - my adult daughter loved it! The beds were very comfortable and having 2 full bathrooms was very helpful. Everything in La Jolla was walkable and Maria gave us impeccable recommendations. The Promiscuous Fork is NOT to be missed. GREAT location, just a couple blocks from the ocean. The outdoor space was also a nice area to hang out in and included a gas, tabletop fireplace. We plan to stay there again!!

Georgie’s airbnb is beautiful and in a great location in Ocean Beach. There’s plenty to do nearby and easy to walk to. We had some trouble sleeping due to noise from airplanes, but this has less to do with Georgie’s Airbnb specifically and more to do with the proximity to the airport.

The home was very comfortable and well decorated and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The back yard was an added bonus with a serene setting and is beautifully landscaped. We had a toddler with us so having beach toys, a highchair and a very large connect-4 game in a fenced in private yard was appreciated. The wagon made life so much easier as well. Thank you, Stephanie for a memorable stay.

Staying at Stephanie’s was great for us. The children’s books were a great touch as were the puzzles. The garage was full of toys for the beach, boogie boards and a wagon and sand toys. Everything we needed—plenty of towels. The master bedroom is a dream, quite large and accommodating. All in all we had a great time in prime location for us. Worth the price, don’t hesitate if available!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

We arrived in Encinitas at an Airbnb that simply wasn’t acceptable! We found Casey’s place and connected with him to book his home last minute. It was perfect for our family gathering, with a beautiful backyard, large open gathering space, and easy access to the beach and downtown Encinitas. Highly recommend. Casey was kind and very responsive.

I loved staying here and walking everywhere. I would recommend to others.

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.
