Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ventura

We were attending a graduation at Cal Arts, so the location was close by and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Everything was as described in the listing. We did have a mechanical issue with the spa, but George took care of it and we were not inconvenience at all. We really appreciate the owner's quick response and attention. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We have been coming annually to this house and we have so much fun! Everything is so clean and just such a great stay! Would recommend and stay again!

Great place to relax with family, especially with the BBQ and games at the pool. The hot tub was perfect! They also had all the necessary kitchen tools.

Johnny was a great host. The house is located in a nice neighborhood and is walking distance to a decent diner (Nat's). home was clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, huge fridge, and stove if you plan on cooking. Yard was a nice play to relax and the swimming pool was very clean. Samsung TVs were in almost every room in the home. The home is a nice location for large families or groups, although my stay was short it I enjoyed my stay with my friends. Would recommend.

The house was nice and good size for our group. The location was pretty good for what we had planned. We landed on this place specifically because of the pool and hot tub. We wish we had been told the specifics of using them beforehand because we arrived to an ice cold pool & jacuzzi. But after Gevorg finally responded we were told there is a fee to heat everyday, they cant be heated at sametime, and pool takes 8-10 hrs to heat. But once the confusion was cleared up, Gevorg was quick to respond and the pool/jacuzzi was an amazing addition to our trip!!! Gevorg was very kind and welcoming and quick to fix the situation.

We want to say a huge thank you to these unbelievable hosts. Their house is incredible, they were very fast to respond to all inquiries, we desperately needed a crib and they came over to put one together for us. These are really amazing hosts with beautiful home. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an Airbnb in LA! Thank you again!

This is a great deal

We had a very peaceful stay overlooking Woodland Hills. The home was convenient to our activities just to the east. While we were at the house, we took advantage of the terrific deck and the surrounding hiking trails. The house had everything we needed for our short stay.

We loved the house and the location and enjoyed our stay. Our group of 12 friends, the max the house can accommodate, stayed for three nights. All of us had comfortable beds, all bedrooms have nice décor. The living room is large with comfy sofas and chairs. The dining table could seat 12 so it was great for all of us to sit around and relax. The house and kitchen were well equipped. The only items we had to ask for were extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels which were promptly delivered by the onsite caretaker. We enjoyed the pool table, and the library in the loft but didn’t get time to soak in the hot tub on the back deck. The property is surrounded by trees and greenery. The site and house are rustic but very comfortable. There are two full bathrooms, and both are upstairs. A half-bath downstairs would have been great, but it was only a minor inconvenience. Location is very convenient - just a 10-minute drive from Ojai downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Gal made our stay in California feel so comfortable & right at home! She allowed us to have a dinner with a few friends right after my son’s graduation. She definitely welcomed us with some treats, tea & coffee. We truly enjoyed our stay in her beautiful place!

Great spot to stay, easy to get to and from LAX. Very quiet and peaceful and excellently appointed. We loved the hot tub and private garden space. Franco and Iris were very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic. This place feels like a home with all the things one needs to be comfortable. The yard and hot tub were great. The bonus was the in-tune piano! Our whole party voiced wishes to stay here again.

Our stay at this magical home brought endless surprises. The land is full with citrus and native trees, surrounded by chirping birds. The overlooking view of the cliffs and tres from the front porch chairs brought so many happy signs of life, huge hawks, light from the sun, and glowing stars. The home itself is filled with handmade tapestries, colorful paintings, and unusual treasures that invite relaxation and play. The beds and bedding were super cozy and allowed for deep rest. The kitchen is appointed with everything you would need to cook, though the restaurants in Ojai were a short drive away. I made lasting memories in this unusual and welcoming home! And, Catie was beyond helpful. She worked with us our requests in ways that showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests. I felt so taken care of! We will return again to this place that inspired us to reconnect with ourselves and Mother Earth

Lynne's place is a beautiful 3-bedroom home right in the heart of Topanga. It is cozy, cute, and clean. We loved the outdoor bath house. Lynne was responsive, friendly, and helpful. Would return. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay! Gorgeous grounds, lots of space to relax, and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Loved that it was convenient to town while still feeling tucked away. Would love to stay again!

We had a lovely weekend while in town for a wedding. Home is even nicer than the photos imply, and the two decks are very nice (one sunny and one shaded). Beverly is easy to chat with, and protective of the home which I understand. :) Kitchen and dining areas are large. We were building a charcuterie platter for the bride and there was plenty of space for 4 people to work together while making it. One note: cell service at the top of the hill (and much of Malibu, truthfully) is very poor. Once you’re inside on WiFi it’s fine, but take a screen shot of the host’s instructions (gate codes and such) so you’ll have them available when you park. Overall an enjoyable home with a lovely view.

Fantastic hosts who were proactive, made us feel at home, and were very generous—stocked kitchen upon arrival and they let us borrow boogie boards and beach toys. The location is great and an easy walk to the beach or Main St or Abbott Kinney.

This house was a perfect location for our multiple family members coming to a graduation at the Master’s University. It was clean and quiet and a beautiful house! It is close to downtown Newhall and walking distance for us to coffee shops and restaurants. There was ample parking and the house had everything we needed. The hosts were quick to answer any question we had. Overall an excellent stay and hope that we can do it again!

Peter's bungalow was as described, and we had a great stay. The backyard was great for our 3yo son and there was plenty of amenities to help with parenting, such as a dishwasher, washer/dryer, vacuum, bathtub. Would totally stay again when we come back to visit family.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Well stocked home, never lacked for clean towels, bedding, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, etc which I've found missing from other airbnbs sometimes. The home was comfortable, and the art studio doubles as an extra private bedroom when the large sliding door between it and the kitchen is shut. Pull out beds in 2 couches make for comfortable sleeping arrangements. The best part of this house is being able to open it all up and enjoy the indoor and outdoor living spaces together in a seamless flow. Beautiful inside and out - we loved our stay here.

Bess’s place was super cozy and had such a warm, welcoming vibe. It was just what we needed for a relaxing stay. She was also very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly stay!

Our party of 4 stayed at Chip’s place for 2 weeks and couldn’t have been happier. It was immaculate, spacious and had lots of storage with built-in closets in the bedrooms. There was every amenity you could think of. We made some meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and loved walking to Abbott Kinney for restaurants, dessert, coffee and shopping. Street parking was plentiful, and the gym and laundry in the garage were an added bonus. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. The beach and Venice boardwalk are nearby, and it’s easy to get to many places in West LA from here. We had a couple of questions for Chip, and he responded within minutes. Chip’s place is hands down one of my favorite Airbnbs.
