Kid-friendly vacation rentals in University City

The house is clean and inviting. Everything was as expected. The host went beyond my expectations with impeccable communication and friendliness. The location is a bit on the rougher side. I didn’t let my kids leave my side walking from the curb to the door. But we aren’t from the city so this could be normal. Also the hot tub is located in the back of the property inside the detached garage. So consider that if you plan on putting your kids down and then going and enjoy the hot tub. Other than the location of the property and the hot tub, it is a great house!

Great host and the house was perfect for a long weekend getaway with friends and small children, well equipped and close to many touristic places.

We had a terrific 3 night stay at this house. The main floor has everything our family of 4 needed - 3 bedrooms, very comfortable beds and pillows, a stocked kitchen and a comfortable living space. The additional finished basement is a bonus with a cozy couch and large screen tv. We also really appreciated the extra soft plush blankets around the house as it was rainy and cool for almost the whole weekend. One thing to be aware of is that the bathrooms are small and tight quarters particularly around the toilets, but honestly it was only an issue for us because my spouse is 6'7". It wouldn't prohibit us from renting here again as everything else was perfect for us!

This place is fantastic! Well thought out with everything you need - even plenty of spices and cookware. The game room was awesome, the beds were comfortable and you can walk to a bunch of great food and entertainment. What more can you ask for?

The house was perfect for our group of 5. Two rooms on one side and 2 rooms on the other gave each family privacy, while still allowing for communal space. John was very communicative and accommodating to our needs. The location was great for getting to grocery, restaurant and highways.

Our stay here was great! Dzenad was very responsive with any questions I had. It is so peaceful with the river practically in the backyard. I DEFINITELY recommend staying there if you get the chance.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was exactly as pictured, clean, and SO kid friendly. This is the perfect place to stay with kids of all ages. The home had an awesome kid room with a bunk bed, loads of toys, and baby essentials including a highchair, two booster seats, and a pack and play. The hosts we very responsive and friendly. Massive amounts of rain had caused the grass to grow more quickly than they anticipated and they had someone mow first thing the morning after we checked in. We are in town a couple of times a year and this will be our new go to Airbnb.

We LOVED our stay at this house, and we will definitely be back again! If you're traveling with a large group, ESPECIALLY one that includes kiddos, look no further. My mom described this as the most "kid-friendly" AirB&B she's ever seen! Clean, more than enough rooms, great hot tub, lots of games and movies....it was great. A bit dated, but nothing that would deter us from coming back again & again!

Brandon was such a a great host! The house was pristine and located in part of St Louis's historic area. The place was extremely clean and roomy. We felt right at home the whole time. I'm hoping to make at least one annual trip a year to St Louis and I will absolutely check with Brandon to see if I can stay in his house next time.

We really enjoyed Craig and his wife’s Airbnb! 10/10 would recommend, and would also stay again. We had a short little weekend getaway, and I actually wished we could stay longer so I could have more time at the Airbnb! There were a lot of unexpected complimentary items that were very much appreciated as well. Craig accommodated us very quickly when our first Airbnb host decided to cancel the day before our scheduled trip, and it turned out to be a blessing! Thanks, Craig!

Great location, close to local amenities with good recommendations for local spots. The space was comfortable and very pretty looking out the windows into the trees. I didn't use the kitchen much, but it was well stocked. The bed and floors are squeaky, but it's an old house so the floors are to be expected. Located in a very nice neighborhood for walking. Daniel has an interesting collection of books, I wish I had some more free time while I was there to page through some of them. Overall a very nice stay with no issues.

Had an excellent time staying at Matt’s place! The space is more than enough for two people and is suitable for short-term or long-term stays. The neighborhood is quiet and just a block away from Tower Grove park. Highly recommend!

Clean, spacious and comfortable stay in close proximity to all of the STL amenities (Go Blues!). Definitely will look to book again for a future visit.

Awesome little airbnb perfect for 2 people and their pets! Everything was clean and comfortable - it was easy to find and easy to get in. Parking was easy with a spot usually available right in front of the unit. Quiet neighborhood - even on mardi gras weekend! Would recommend!

Great spot in a peaceful neighborhood. People were out walking with dogs and strollers, so never felt unsafe.

Planning a trip to St. Louis? Stay here—you won’t regret it. This stylish home is in a lovely, upscale neighborhood just blocks from Washington University Medical Center and a short walk to Forest Park. It’s also right around the corner from the stunning St. Louis Cathedral. (We’re not religious, but the architecture is truly amazing.) We stayed for five days and quickly wished we had booked five more. Jennifer’s place is beautifully decorated, upscale, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bed, which felt like it had weighted blankets. Our sleep was incredibly restful.

Very good place. Very central. Family visited for graduation and everything we needed was in the apartment or nearby. Grocery store nearby with a variety of restaurants.

Lindsay was an excellent host and very easy to deal with. The studio apartment was so comfortable and in a great location. She was fast at responding to any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I hope it’s available the next time I come back to visit.
